This is a great deal if you are in between sizes, to get items for
displays, and to stock up on horn body jewelry at amazing prices!

The odd-sized spirals are a particularly good deal,
as we measure and label the greatest possible wearing surfaces;
thus, even-sizes are easily found a bit further down the taper-shaped 'tails.'

Remember, the body does not stretch in gauges, only the mind does!


This sale includes the following sizes:
15ga, 13ga, 11ga (we have horn CBR's, labrets, and septums in these sizes),
9ga, 7ga, (we have only shapes or bone dust inlay plugs in these sizes),
5ga, 3ga, 1ga, (LOTS of both plugs and shapes in these sizes),
11/16", 13/16", 15/16" (we have plugs in these sizes), and
1-1/16", 1-3/16", 1-5/16", 1-7/16", & 1-9/16" (we have plugs in these sizes).

Basic Wood Anatomy and Behavior paper

Last week I finally completed a research project geared towards piercers and shop owners for the "Woods" lecture at this year's Association of Professional Piercers (APP) convention in Las Vegas. I learned a ton about wood that I had not known before, and I hope this little contribution will serve to illuminate some of the mysteries of this incredibly complex material. I've marked it up in HTML and make it available on my website for all to read. It is my gift to the community.

The details below were from our last show...
1st THURSDAY EVENING from 6pm-10pm, 6th DECEMBER.
in the abode of our friend Jared within the Everett Station Lofts.
625 NW Everett, number 233. Near Chinatown, Portland, OR.
((You must be buzzed in, then follow the signs up the convoluted stairways...))
It's first Thursday, so ride your bike or be prepared to park far away!

We are featuring all kinds of new goodies, especially horn and stone body jewelry, as well as SALE items!!!
The sale items will include pieces already labeled as such on my website, odd sized horn and bone jewelry (already written about in another blog), a retail sale on ethnic jewelry from Vietnam, India, Alaska, and Mexico, some body jewelry with quality issues, and also some random stuff I'll decide to discount on a whim.

Please keep in mind that we are a wholesale company, and as such, all of our labeled prices are available to businesses only for resale purposes. Retail customers will be asked to pay retail prices, generally double that of wholesale.

We will be joined by several other artists including my partner Markus Wolff, who will be showing both new and old artwork, consisting of paintings, drawings, and sculpture: Heathen Art.

We get together periodically and open up our space for folks to join us by invitation. As we do not have a formal showroom or shop, this is a great opportunity to come by and see our wares in person. These are informal gatherings, generally happening on a weeknight evening. Often we'll throw one when we want to showcase new acquisitions, and you'll have the first peek and chance to pick some unique items up, without having to pay for shipping. Both wholesale and retail customers are welcome; however, please keep in mind that all of our jewelry is labeled with wholesale prices. Cash is appreciated and discounts can be given for large purchases!

If you'd like to be notified when they occur, please call (503) 240-0260 or email to let us know your email address and/or phone number, as well as the ideal days and times when you could participate. Space is limited, so we ask that you RSVP and keep guests to a minimum. Our space is definitely not child proof, so you'll have to keep a very cautious eye on the little ones if they'll be along. We welcome donations of drink, and will be providing some beverages as well.
