Tagged!
Current mood: amused
Category: MySpace
I've been tagged; I'm supposed to write ten weird/crazy things about me.
So here it goes:
1. I don't drink coffee or tea
2. I don't have a car despite having posted a lot of Top Gear videos (I like the show, I simply can't afford the supercars they test)
3. I'm a Japanophile, I like the language, art and culture and I've travelled in Japan several times.
4. I like photography
5. I like to read books
6. My native language is Dutch
7. In real life I tend to be reserved and on the shy side.
8. I love paranormal and x-files stuff even though I don't really believe in it
9. I'm not good at blogging
10. I'm pretty good in foreign languages

War Photographer
Category: Art and Photography
I went to the local public library this week and besides books you can also lend dvd's, cd's, cd-rom, etc..
I lend a book and I found this dvd which is quite astonishing.
The title is "War Photographer" it's a documentary featuring James Nachtwey. The documentary was apparently shot on 35mm film and then transferred to dvd; directed by Christian Frei, camera by Peter Indergand.
The dvd has been released on "IDFA'S Delicatessen" label. IDFA stands for International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam.
It made a big impression on me; you see James Nachtwey in Kosovo, in Palestine, in Indonesia.
