Bringing together the best in the West, the 2nd Annual Lake of the Sky Music, Arts, & Eco Festival will be an amazing day in the mountains with tons in store for everyone; centered on celebrating the magnificent scenery around us and the beautiful people that make these mountains home. Zero Waste & Zero Emission event. Last year was a huge success & we look forward to taking this festival to the next level.
Paesano Productions brings you 3 stages of Live Music, DJ's, comedy, open mic, workshops, poetry, & more, each representing the exceptional musical & artistic talent from around the region.
Eco booths, exhibits & vendors will be available to display the many hard working businesses, stunning local arts and crafts, non profits that break their backs to protect nature and more, delicious food, local brews, & fine wines. All vending will practice eco-friendly service and use only biodegradable materials.
A 'Mini Playa' with Friends of Black Rock will be centered on the grounds; the sandy area will be artistically decorated and enjoyed during the festival. A stage will feature DJ's & live PA electronica music. Art Cars & Costumes Encouraged!
Mama's Cookin'
Mama's Cookin' has emerged on the scene with a sound that could only come from the modern age. Hip-hop beats and conscious lyrics melded with a solid base of rock and delta blues. The four players generate sounds completely unique to this band. Audiences across the country attest to the fact that this is dance music that inspires. Their steady rise has elicited the attention of industry watchdogs and die hard music fans alike.

Free Peoples
Free Peoples is an Americana/Rock/Jazz hybrid direct from the San Francisco Bay Area. Their music conjures up images of the Wild West, but will take you on a journey to Mars and back before depositing you safely back by your campfire. Through intricate melodies and delicate three part harmonies, they offer up a synthesis of both the old and the new, incorporating styles as diverse as the many paths we all travel. With Free Peoples, musical horizons are ever-expanding.

Sol Jibe
Sol Jibe blends rock, roots, flamenco, Latin music, jazz, and Afro-Cuban percussion into an intoxicating, effervescent cocktail. They recently made their major music festival debut at the 2007 High Sierra Music Fest in Quincy, CA & are back again with a Grand Stand set this year. Think Dave Matthews meets Albino, Yerba Buena, and the Gipsy Kings.

Subjektochange
Subjektochange is a new collaboration of four Tahoe-based musicians with whom you might be familiar. Eric Matlock, Nick DeNoia, and Ray Erst are all members of the Jeff Jones Band, and Erv Wolf is from the infamous guitar duo Shag. Yearning to take the funk and modern elements even further, they decided to start another project. The music is a combination of hard funk and blissed-out jams and it's nearly all original material. Come to one of their shows, and for sure you will be thinking, "Change Is Good".

Trevor Green
Trevor Green is a Southern California native born and raised in the So Cal Surfing environment. His songs bring about messages of strong connections with the natural world as well as conveying an enthusiasm for life. His soft spoken nature is one that is hardly recognized while on stage, as he fuels an intimate connection with those present. Truly a self taught musician, Green creates a whole separate genre of music with his intertwined jams of Acoustic Guitar, Loop Effects, Didgeridoo, Stomp Box, Jaw Harp, Tounge Drums, Lap Slide, and much more! Using all limbs to create this unique sound, he is an inspiring and refreshing breath of creativity.

Absynth
From jam band roots and electronica influence, Absynth creates a unique blend of improvisational jams with intense break beats and dynamic melodies. The instrumental trio combines drums, bass, keys, and guitar with computer based loops and samples to produce their own brand of Absynth. T-dub & BIM Tim (Tahoe Breakz)
DJ T-dUb's music career started in the early 90's with a microphone, a mixer, keyboards and a drum machine. After a few years of making hip hop and trip hop beats he began mixing vinyl, starting with happy hardcore and jungle and moving into drum & bass, house, and breaks. His move from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe further evolved his musical style into something unique and ever changing.

Chango & Friends
Chango was born Sean Micheal O'Brien in Springfield Massachusetts. His diverse influences and tastes in music deeply reflect the special relationship he has had with music his entire life. His roots are deep seeded in funky and deep house. He now looks at his mixing as more of an instrument of feeling. Scratch DJ's such as ZTRIP, Mike Relm and Cut Chemist have been instrumental in shaping his style.
