Horror and Giallo hits home

Well, this is great news for me, but probably no one else. Unless you live in NEPA of course.
However, I just found out that Argento's masterpiece Deep Red will be playing at the local drive-in on Oct 25th as part of Mondo Movie Nights AND we have a Horror Movie Video Store opening...tomorrow!!!

Pathology - review

As well as writing for the great sites that are Fatally Yours and Wildside Cinema I will now also be contributing the occasional review to DeadlyDvd.com. Marc has an excellent new site running there, and I look forward to contributing when I can. You should check all these sites out though, and not because I write for them!! No, because they are bloody good sites fullstop.
Anyway, here is my first review for Deadly Dvd...
Ted Grey is one smooth guy, he finished top of his class at Harvard, did a little charity work in Africa and is also engaged to Gwen (played by Alyssa Milano). Now he's off to take up a residency at a prestigious medical school. Ted gets shown around by the resident nerd, meets up with the head honcho, Dr Morris, and eventually the rest of the residents. It becomes quite apparent early on that this group of five student doctors, led by Jake Gallo, thinks they are God's gift to medicine. They have no time for the new kid, or anyone else for that matter, and take great joy in ridiculing him and treating everyone else like dirt. [Read more]
