The Emerald Ring
Category: Writing and Poetry

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

~The Emerald Ring~

'Twas the sweetest of any fairytale dream
as he wished upon the brightest of stars
adrift, alone in a cold sea of silence
she had come to him from afar.

Two lonely hearts, thousands of miles apart
yearning only to become complete,
her journey to him, awash with new hope
believing in a dream so sweet.

When their eyes first met, in that first embrace
she was the one he'd been longing for,
he held her tight, with that first kiss
this was the woman he'd always adore.

A white teddy bear with golden bow
A dozen roses, a card that sings,
but most of all, he gave to her his love
when he gave her the emerald ring.

She placed it on her dainty finger
A token of love, for all the world to see
As tears welled up within her eyes
they spoke of how happy they could be.

A cabin nessled in the hills
along side a babbling stream
A new chance to love again
oh, such a glorious dream.

They embraced and counted stars
witnessed a rainbow round the moon,
walked hand in hand along the park
November felt more like June.

Watching her sleep as he caressed her
his bed no longer a cold lonely place,
she awoke with a smile as he kissed her
gently brushing the curls from her face.

He remembers how she lept across him
as she jumped to her side of the bed,
How cute she looked in those pink pajamas
all the sweet things she said.

Those days and nights were ecstasy
too many years he'd spent alone,
it broke his heart, the angels cried
when she said she must go home.

Her unforgettable sorrow and anguish
had refused her heart to mend,
he was selfish, begged her to stay
her pain he couldn't comprehend.

He though he could heal her
with love that he offered to share
but only she could mend herself
alone, within all her despair.

Fondly he remembers
each embrace, every loving kiss,
how good she felt within his arms
and all about her he would miss.

His heart grows cold and lonely again
he misses her more with each passing day,
longing to hold her close to him again
wishing she'd come back soon, someday.

He prays she will never forget the time
he gave to her the pretty little emerald gem.
remembering his love, as she looks upon it,
and maybe she'll think of him.

He lays his head down on the pillow
after wishing upon the brightest star in the sky.
missing her he clutches forgotten teddy
a tear silently falls from their eyes.

Vampire Pictures, Images and Photos

Vampires Love ~

Your eyes speak of only sadness
true love gone....never to return,
A heart bleeding painful sorrow
as a mournful soul quietly yearns.

I breath deeply, inhaling your scent
midnights' chill rustles delicate curls,
tears glide gracefully down alabaster cheeks
bereaved....so lost in this world.

I am deliciously drawn by you
my immortal heart has heard your cries,
maiden relinquish your lonely heart
Let me wash away the sadness in your eyes.

Be my passion oh, rarest flower
behold the gate of eternity,
embrace me tenderly now my love
As I set your spirit free.

Lovers 'till the end of time
leaving mortal world behind,
I offer thee sweet eternal bliss
no greater love shall you ever find.

Poet’s Round Table 83 ~My Generation~
Current mood: happy
Category: Writing and Poetry

" target="_blank">

My Generation:

An invisible timeline connects us, woven silk from an era past.
Lingers like sand in a sneaker, familiarity stands unsurpassed.
Footsteps easy to shadow, a language understood yet left unsaid.
We follow the same Pied Piper, embraced by echoes, time once spread.

Hippies pass fragrant incense, Height Asbury's a happening sight.
Jimmy pounds out "Foxy Lady", as Eric Burton wails "San Francisco Nights"
Tom's a door gunner on a Heuy, Daryl wonders if he'll make it back,
While with new friend Mr. Leary, the Stones' sing "Paint it Black".

Disco took over the scene, peace and love were all but lines of lore.
The sexual revolution abound, gays came out with the likes of Studio 54.
The war was over, our troops returned to a nation on the verge of hysterics.
We beat Russians in Hockey, a peanut farmer in the White House, and a national gas crisis.

Our beautiful Princess Diana, perishes in a crash that rocks the world,
The cold war, and wall that fell down with it, was onto the free earth hurled.
The "dot-com" bubble made some rich, and success was in our grasp,
Then Columbine, Oklahoma City, and Desert Storm caused a nation to gasp.

Generations adding more knowledge, weaving our own unique cloth.
Walking the beaches of history, skipping through the foaming froth.
Struggling through each obstacle, Past catching at Future's reaching hand.
So do we help each other, generations together we stand.

Sad Eyes
Current mood: melancholy
Category: Writing and Poetry

~Sad Eyes~

Those sad eyes beckon to me so lovingly
a shattered past... yet still, a loving heart.
Asking only for true affection,
not someone who tears your world apart.

The beauty behind sad eyes so alluring
your hypnotic gaze, piercing deep within my soul,
you see the shadows I try to hide behind
you see how my heart yearns, to once again be whole.

I could look into your eyes forever
never wanting for more than this
holding you in my arms for eternity,
only craving  just one more kiss.

One more chance to feel your warmth next to me
one more time to run my fingers through your hair.
One more chance to whisper in your ear,
just how much i'll always care.

Your sad loving eyes,  beckon to me so softly
I care more than it would seem,
yet, i've never met you
I've only held you in my dreams.

~Forgotten Pages~

The ink slowly fading
as words disappear,
the parchment antiquated
by uncountable years.

A time young and vibrant
these pages once gleamed,
now crumbling into dust
along with broken dreams.

Pages penned in blood
soaked in a river of tears,
awash with joyous aspirations
filled with dark, lonely fears.

The final chapter unwritten
frail pages empty and alone,
crumble into dust, as another
heart turns into stone.

Breathe
Current mood: happy

Photobucket

~Breathe~

Breathe deep my essence
into your soul,
I exist for only you.

my fingers flow gently
through your silken mane,
We're alone now
just we two.

Breathe deep, my kiss
As it lingers upon eager lips,
I taste your moistness
as desire builds.

Your lips taste
sweet as honey,
my every fantasy
fulfilled.

Breathe deep, as my tongue
playfully glides across your bosom.
Your body quivering,
How I love to hear you moan.

Your tender caress, intoxicating.
Such pleasure i've never known.

Breathe deep, as we stare into
each others eyes.
Ecstasy's melodic rapture
such an exquisite duet.

Breathe deep, my love
don't awaken from this dream.
For i'm not finished with you
yet.

My Mistake
Current mood: fascinated
Category: Writing and Poetry

                ~ My Mistake~

         February's child devoid hope
                     a new life,
but not knowing where to start.
You came to me so sorrowful
                 An abusive life
                a wounded heart.
I gave to you my everything
a lonely heart can give so much.
           I longed only for affection
I hungered only for your touch.
             I offered you devotion
             yet, no feelings for me
                could you conceive
                      I wonder
If you ever cared at all?
           my confessions forgotten,
                  and unbelieved.
                      So bold,
                       so cold,
                    so heartless,
          behind those beautiful eyes.
Beats a heart that cares for no one
            cloaked in veils of silence
Lost in a web of lies.
             Hope becomes disillusion
                  a wretched heart
                   begs to scream,
           cursed to feel your passion
                   only within my dreams.
         Neglect succumbs to bitterness
            another kicking to the curb.
You've taken all I had to give
                       Is this really
                    what I deserved?
A dream lies sad and broken
                      a fool was I
                     for all to see.
With a  heart that cares for no one
how could it care for me.
But my heart is stronger now
                    I'm moving on
                  A lesson learned
            My heart, no longer aches.
            Peaceful in the knowledge
                       you were
                just one more of my
                   hearts mistakes.

The Crescent Moon’s Light
Current mood: happy

Crescent Moon

The Crescent Moon's Light

We were gazing at the crescent moon, on a chilly Aprils' night
The stars were a twinkling, such a beautiful sight
That tiny cresent gently tipping ever so slight
It's beauty painted us in such a soft-pale light

The faint glow of it's beauty illuminated such a sweet smile
Your eyes sparkled, as we talked for awhile
'Twas then from your lips, spun a wonderful tale
Clouds danced through the night's sky, like bellowing sails

"God made the moon, and the stars up above"
"He created them with passion, created them with love"
"He places raindrops into that tiny crescent moons' cup"
"Then he waits for awhile, for it to fill up"

"Then, as that tiny crescent moon slowly starts to tip"
"Down comes the rain, beginning to drip"
"Rain through the clouds, or sometimes it's snow"
"On all of God's creatures, here down below"

In utter amazement, under a crescent moon's silvery light
I shall never forget the story you told me that night
You looked deeply into my eyes, seen the love there for you
As you softly whispered four words, " I love you too"

I held you ever so closely, as we started to kiss
In your arms forever, forever wanting to feel just like this
I promised my love for you always, a love that shall never die
'Till the world ends, and the moon falls from the sky

Then I awoke, you see it was only a dream
But Oh, how very real to me it all seemed
You came to me, in my dreams late last night
Aglow under a crescent moon's soft-pale light

The Maze
Current mood: calm
Category: Writing and Poetry

The Maze....

Lost in a maze of emptiness
This dwelling place for all lost souls
Drowning in a sea of loneliness
Cast down into the labyrinth's hole

Oh, you could have saved me darling
and never let me fall
Now you've left me alone and wondering
If you ever cared at all

The wounds are deep and hurtful
But no blood lies yet on soggy ground
Inside your bossom beats a blackened heart
Yet I still need you around

Your addiction courses through my veins
Although no love will you ever show
Teatering on the brink of oblivion
Into this place were I alone must go

Shattered heart, when will you see
How many lessons shall it take
Pluck my soul from these murky depths
Your jaded love, my last mistake

Too many clouds in my sky today
The wind whispers such an erie sound
One step closer to the edge
Love always seems to let me down

Angels’ Kiss
Category: Writing and Poetry

~Angels' Kiss~

In another life long ago, a peasant
Not much a measure of a man
My duty tending to the flower gardens
Whilst evil tyrants ruled the land

Kings, Lords, and Queens beheld the beauty
Of my gardens' painstaking work
Gazing in amazement, such kaleidoscope of colors
Only beauty, no evil there did lurk

Sitting on a bench, I first beheld her sight
A damsel so sweet and fair
I knew my place, a paupers son
But still, I offered flowers for her hair

No Knight was I, nor of noble blood
But through the rags, she could plainly see
My heart was pure, and filled with dreams
As she first laid her eyes on me

A goddess of shear unearthly beauty
Her smile sweet, "forgive me if I stare"
You took my hand so tenderly
And let me place the flowers in your hair

"Gentle spirit, would you give me just one kiss?"
You asked of me,"for this your gift so sweet"
Our embrace, only dreams are made of
'Twas then our lips did meet

But no knight was I, nor of noble blood
Your bodyguards I did not see
I was surrounded in an instant
As they plunged thier daggers into me

Falling, the onslaught continued
My crimson essesence spilling on cobblestones where I lie
But I could only see your angelic face
Clutching my flowers, as you began to cry

"Cry not for me dear maiden"
"You've made this paupers' dream come true"
"I'd gladly relinquish this lowly life"
"for just one kiss from you"

A final daggers thrust, has found my heart
Death no longer can I resist
One last look at beauty's face
I die, for one sweet angels' kiss
