Hellfire Festival Postponed until February 2009
Current mood: pissed off
Category: Music
The organisers of the Hellfire Festival 2008 are absolutely gutted to announce that this year's festival has been postponed due to the sudden closure of the venue. The site has been bought by a South African company who has closed it with immediate effect for a complete refit. This is obviously very disappointing news for all involved with the festival which has had universal support from the world of Metal with the Saturday almost entirely sold out.
The good news is that we have agreed a rescheduled date with the new owners and by popular demand we will be expanding the festival to a three day event. The Hellfire Festival will retain the theme of the best of British breaking Metal but the extra night will feature a special guest headline performance from an American touring band who are already confirmed and will be announced soon!
The Hellfire Festival will now take place on Feb 21st / 22nd / 23rd , the websites will be updated shortly with all of the new information.
Anyone wishing to obtain refunds should contact their point of purchase; existing tickets will be valid for the new dates.

Cradle of Filth Join Ed Stone!
Current mood: intense
Category: Music
Ed Stone are delighted to announce that British extreme metal legends Cradle of Filth will be joining its ranks.
We would like to personally thank Dave, Dani and Fay for making this possible and look forward to a long and successful alliance.
"I like wearing Ed Stone clothing because I like the simple, effective cut of the shirts, the understated, no-nonsense designs and of course, because they're British! This Autumn (my favourite season) they will be bringing out another range of killer designs to clothe the growing hordes of the metal army and I for one will be amongst their well tailored, good looking ranks!" - Dani Filth
Cradle of Filth release their darkest album to date, titled "Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder", for Roadrunner Records on October 28. The album will also be available as a special edition with an extra disc and bonus material.
