Channel Surfing and Articles of Impeachment.......
Current mood: giddy

I have not been this happy in a long time channel surfing. So I am going along, the usual - 3 different Law and Orders....Bobby Flay Throwdown (sticky buns mmmmmmm)......the funniest home videos from three years ago.......Fox News - headlines "Bush is wonderful, there is no war lalalalalalala"......The Weather Channel - thunderstorms coming (yay maybe the heat and humidity will go away)....MSNBC headline "Breaking News, Articles of Impeachment being read now on floor of Congress against President Bush" OMFG!!!!!!!!! I almost dropped the remote!!!!!! EEKKKKK I do a happy dance in my seat. I grab the phone and call my sister Julie "OMG they are trying to impeach bush" she has a migraine and tells me "whatever, it wont happen go to bed". Well, a girl can dream can't she? read them all here. I know I am! Sweet Dreams!!!!

It’s been a while.....
Current mood: busy

I have barely had time to get on a computer other than work. Seems like spring has rushed right by! The kids are both getting ready for end of school, Paul graduates High School June 16 (two days after his 18th birthday) and Rob graduates middle school the 18th! OMG I will have one kid in college and one in high school. Good Lawd, I feel old! Having a giant graduation/18th birthday party for Paul on the 22nd, my place - feel free to drop by! Well, guess I better run, have a ton of stuff left to do today and the day is slipping away! hope all is well with you!

shopping and the Jehovah’s

So Saturday morning I am food shopping, put my bags in the car and sit down, start it up and am adjusting my "tunes". This car in front of me has three people in it. One lady gets out and starts walking towards me (OMG! she is holding a pamphlet in her hand) as she gets closer, I see the title "Watchtower" {{{sigh}}}} I had the window rolled down a little (it is springtime in New England!) and she says "we are spreading the word" to which I replied as I rolled up the window "no thanks, I worship satan!" HAHAHAH loved the look on her face. Guess she did not notice my rosary beads hanging from the rear view mirror!!!! made me laugh!

I swear to God it wasn’t me........

Ok, so this morning before I leave for work, I see a blip on the news that a small explosion happened in the early morning hours in Times Square in New York City. Later in the day, I see on my Yahoo homepage that it was a bomb placed outside a Military Recruiting Station. I WAS HOME IN BED - I SWEAR! While I may be pissed at them for targeting my son - I would not cause harm. Read the full story here:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080306/ap_on_re_us/times_square_shutdown

now, the reasons why it was not me:

1) NY is two states away - I live in Rhode Island (that is considered a weekend trip at least and this happened on a Thursday morning approx. 3:30 am, I would have had to pack a suitcase and supper and breakfast....just not enough time)
http://www.mapquest.com/mq/10-*7zaLJJTL6E8

2) The person in the video was riding a bike - ok, lets face it, the last time my ass saw a bike seat it was a banana seat in 1976 on my hand-me-down bike with the white basket and plastic flower on it.
banana seat bike

3) The culprit wore a "hoodie" - I am a New Englander, I don't wear coats and/or sweatshirts after March 1st. Today I left the house in a short sleeve shirt with no coat/sweatshirt. The temp. was 32 degrees. The date is March 6th. That is like wearing white after labor day (no-no).

"Bitch is the new Black"

I saw this on Saturday Night Live a few weeks ago,and loved it! Tina Fey said it perfectly. I have said for a few years now, that I am a Bitch and I embrace it. I love being a bitch.

B - born to lead
I - I am right - listen to me!
T - tough shit, I am right!
C - confident (thought I was gonna use the c*&^ word here didnt you!)
H - Hungry (feed the bitch)

Embrace your Bitchness. We need a woman to get things done. Just think how much it will piss off the towel heads who think woman cant even go outside without being covered from head to toe (in the freakin desert heat? OMG how do they survive hot flashes? why havent they revolted? I know I would kill someone - you should see me in the middle of the night when I am having night sweats and Russell try's to cover me up with the blanket)

So embrace your Bitchness. I have!

Now THIS warrents a Senate hearing.....
Current mood: pissed off

Ok, how much do you think Arlen Spector bet on the giants winning? HMMMM??? Seems WAY to much of a co-incidence. I grew up in New England, I am used to our teams tanking in the 11th hour - but this was a total set up and conspiracy

1) Spector starts talking shit the day before the game about "spygate" and the tape being destroyed being as important as the CIA tapes WTF?Seriously? WTF? Lets have an investigation into HIM and how many thousands if not millions he won last night.

2) Tom Brady comes out of the tunnell looking like he lost his best friend, not like he was walking into history. Do you want to know why? Because just before he walked out, they told him, guess what, it's over, they are going to win, its been planned since day 1.

3) Bill Bellicheck was wearing the other teams color. For like 5 years he has been wearing the same grey cut off sweatshirt (the ones like they now sell for $45 at Modell's) and this game he has a brand new, not cut up, RED one. WTF?

4) How many bad calls were there? I lost track at about 5 (all in favor of the fucking loosers that won the toss NY Motherf*&&^*&^*&^

This is why I don't watch sports. I yelled, I screamed, I scared the crap out of Robbie at one point when I leaped (yes, I really did) out of my chair screaming (yes, screaming, in fact, my throat hurt for about 1/2 hr) "STOP HIM, STOP HIM, WHAT THE FU*&, SOMEBODY STOP THAT MOTHERF*&)*(&"

ok, I am calm. I got up this morning (after a fitfull nights sleep) and did not even turn on the TV right away. (OMG) Then I had to turn it on to see traffic before I left, and I had on this show I used to watch in the mornings (I wont be after today) and this bitch who does the news goes "see patriots, cheaters dont win" to which I started screaming at the TV again "F*&^ YOU Bitch F*&% YOU - you suck - you SUCK" and that was that. Warning to any cars I see today with any NY Team logo - watch out -to quote my favorite movie line of all time from Fried Green Tomatoes " I'm older and I have more in-surance!"

ps the commercials mostly sucked too

Arlen Spector is a Retard.....
Current mood: disgusted

Read this article. This is the most insane thing I have heard out of Washington on some time (and that is saying something)

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs07/news/story?id=3228494

Here is the letter I just sent to this moron - notice how I am nice and call him "SIR" HAHAHA in my head sir = retard. Actually, that is an insult to the real retarded people, lets just call him what he is, a republican.

"Dear Sir,
I saw on the news today that you want to have the NFL Commissioner in the Senate to investigate the "taping scandal" that involved the New England Patriots. First, then me state that even though I am a Patriots fan, this letter would be coming to you even if I was not.

Given the state of the US Economy, the housing implosion, the illegal war we were duped into supporting, but are really fighting to make the oil companies richer, the lack of quality health care for working families, the influx of illegal aliens sucking up our resources, the pork barrel projects that get added to bills that have NOTHING to do with them, THIS is how you want to spend the Senates time and MY tax money? My husband and I both work full time, we have two kids, one about to go to college, who is looking at having to work the entire time he is in college and have a minimum of about $120,000.00 in student loans to get thru college, as he is a white male, who's parents make just enough that we do not qualify for most student aid (thank you Republicans!), who is being actively pursued by the armed forces (all branches of them) with phone calls, brochures, and letters, even though he has been on the "Opt Out" list for two years. MY hard earned tax money is being wasted to pursue my son to go fight for Dick Cheney and his cronies to get even more rich (can we say Haliburton?).

This is insane. Please, think about this for a minute. OUR COUNTRY NEEDS HELP - fighting over a freakin football game is NOT an issue for the US Senate. Please, I beg of you, get real."

I am old...... and I know this because.....

I am feeling wicked old tonight. I just realized that my niece turned 30 this week (OMG) it is also the 30th anniversary of the Blizzard of 78 (OMG) and my achey joints are killing me! In fact, it is one of the reasons that I have not been on in a while, typing is getting harder to do after doing all day at work! Then I was looking thru some photos tonight, and sent them to my cousin and in doing so, realized they were taken 20 years ago. 20 friggin years ago! WTF? How can that be? Then I found out my friend Dennis' mother in law died last night (cancer) which brought back my Mom's anniversary (coming up in April 4 years already!) I feel old. It is 9:30 now, so this old lady is going to bed!

Home
Current mood: happy

Well, my baby made it home safe and sound! (yay) I did a lot of praying! guess it worked. Only one kid broke an ankle - not skiing or tubing or something like that, he fell down the stairs! Wow! I have posted some pics, take a look. Most of his pics are of the other kids! I was like, what, no Ice Hotel????? Oh Well! he had a great time, loves it there, wants to move there. Guess that will come in handy when they want to re-instate the draft and I have to send him to Canada to live! hahahahaah (only kidding - or am I?????) I still have to blog about the army and their never ending quest to come take my oldest - {{{{sigh}}}}} but that is another blog - today is happy : )
Hope you all are good - see ya
