3:23 PM - Die, Die, My Darling - Lotus

Remember playing Dungeons & Dragons?

Do you still play on Saturday night?

Do you wish you were playing right now?

Then this pendant is for you!

This is the 20 sided dice from the dice set. Lotus is it's name, and it features a yellow base and orange speckles, with green numbers.

10:31 AM - Are Adorable Kittens the Answer?

So after some advice from both etsy personnel and other sellers, I changed my avatar to a product on July 31st.

Views were....meh
Hearts were....meh.

But it's summer, No Big Deal.

That's what happens in the summer, I say to myself.

The Olympics are on, and kids are going back to school.
Folks are just busy. Too busy to look at shineys.

I switched back to adorable kitten last night, at the gently pushing of a fellow etsy seller that she missed the cute kittens.  I was planning to switch back to a product shot tonight.

My overall item views increased some by 10 to 20 views (even on the LAST pages)
and my shop got 7 new  shop hearts, and 6 new items hearts.
OVERNIGHT!

so,
Kittens STAY!

Moral of the story?

Just because EVERYONE thinks it's "better" to do something a certain way, doesn't mean it is.

Do what has proven itself BEST for your business, even if it's not what is the "textbook" thing to do.

1:08 PM - Teardrop Pendant

A bold hoop of natural copper wire tops a seafoam glass teardrop. It is accented with another seafoam bead on top.

The entire pendant is hand formed by me from natural uncoated copper wire, and measures 2.5 inches/6.35 cm.

Pendant comes hung from a copper chain ended with copper lobster clasp and tab.

5:38 AM - Royalty

Regal aged brass drops, capped with buttery yellow faceted glass beads, hung from handmade by me red brass ear wires.

The earrings are aged with a natural method using no harsh chemicals, and gently hand polished to bring out some of the rich golden brass while leaving some deep cocoa brown for an heirloom quality.

8:00 PM - Walking on Eggshells

Rough and Random sterling silver discs, which I hand formed from my sterling scraps with a torch, hammer, rolling mill and doming set.

The random shape of the silver, which is about 24 gauge, reminds me of eggshells, freshly cracked for my morning meal.

The silver discs are sanded for a brushed look, and hung from handmade by me sterling silver circle wires. They measure about 5/8 inch/ 1.60 cm, but since they are random and each handmade, size and shape may vary from pair to pair.

11:00 AM - Pot O’ Gold

Okay, there may not be a pot of gold at the end of these rainbows, but they sure are cute ;)

Itty bitty lampwork glass beads in the classic rainbow spectrum; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

Yes, I had to think of Roy G. Biv as I picked the beads out to get the order right.

2:34 PM - Olden

These striking earrings feature darkened sterling silver and salvaged bronzy gold beads.

Beads I found at an antique vendor, wrapped up in handmade by me fine silver headpins. The beads hang from handmade by me sterling silver rings for a bold graphic statement.

Handmade by me sterling ear wires top the earrings, hand filed for smoothness and comfort.
