The Sushi Pack
Current mood: chipper
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities
Yeeha! Phofo is the composer for the new Saturday morning cartoon series, "Sushi Pack", which premieres this November on CBS. It's about 4 crime-fighting little pieces of sushi and a blob of wasabi that always save the day. Pretty fresh! Check it out and let me know who your favorite character is.

Created in Darkness
Category: Writing and Poetry
The paperback version of McSweeney's humor anthology "Created in Darkness by Troubled Americans" was recently released (or publsihed as they call it.) The book features humble contributions from Phofo and is on the Knopf/Random House label. You can find it at all fine booksellers and pedestrian places like Hudson candy shops in the airport. Next time you're in an airport, why don't you treat yourself to new shoe laces, a Mounds, and this book...

Jean Grae's "The Jam"
Category: Music
I have been a fan of Jean Grae for quite some time so I am very honored to be a part of her new video, "The Jam", directed by the uncompromising, inspiring, and surprising Monihan Monihan. The video features the likes of Phofo-collaborator Mr. Dead (donning Phofo's maroon smoking jacket -- see below), as well as Don Newkirk, Living Room Johnston, Tunde Adebimpe, and many other talented muvs. For a limited time, you can check out the video on okayplayer.com here.
