Thinking out loud...
Category: Writing and Poetry

We are not beasts of the field, yet we kill,
We are not Creators of this Earth, yet we destroy,
We cannot carry Peace in our Hearts, if we have harmed others,
We cannot live our dreams, knowing others have been destroyed,
Forgive, when Forgiveness is needed,

Bless "ALL" so that You may be Blessed.................... PW

Admit It
Current mood: grateful

Admit openly your mistakes and shortcomings, take the blame for what you have done even if it was unintentional. Accept what becomes of these things. When some one falls, help them up with a smile. Lessons are not always taught, they must be learned.

How we are sometimes tested
Category: Blogging

I believe that sometimes the Creator watches down on us and see's what we do, perhaps he questions our sincerity, our motives, and puts us to a test to see just how strong we are. He may hold something just inches from your fingertips to see if you are determined enough to keep striving to achive a goal, or he may take something from you to see how hard and willing you are to regain it. We cannot question his motives he is our Creator, we must continue to work at regaining or achieving that which we want or had lost. Then he will see your Heart, and if he thinks you deserve what you seek, are worthy of it, he will return it. Wopila , Wakan Tanka, for returning someone I cherish so Dearly.

People
Category: Blogging

Maybe they seem like just numbers, how many views your My Space has gotten, to a lot of people. I see them as moments of time that someone touched me, or I touched someone, I figure either way, it has been an enrichment to my life, and I Pray to thiers as well.... One by one they come and go, some to stop only once, say Hello and are gone, some to make many return visits over the years, to stand by or walk down this path we call life with you. I am silent way more than I should be at times, guess I am always so busy thinking that I actually forget to think. Thank You All So Very Very Much.... those that have passed and those who still walk with me. May your lives be Blessed with all things good. 6,971 times I have been Blessed. 7,000 soon ... if I can get the name of 7,000 I will tell all, if I do not.... I am Honored you passed this way.

Always Prayers,

Always Blessings,

Always,

Random Overflow
Category: Blogging

Changing of minds, why do People blame so much of what happens on fate, can't fate be changed with thought processes used in a very Positve way ? If you wanted something before can't you hold that Faith and Hold to that thought so it can not slip through your fingers. Or is it a question of "Wanting" to hold on. I have made my choice of the two, just wondering what yours was?

Understanding

He who understands you is greater kin to you than your own brother,

For even your own kindred may neither understand you nor know your true worth..........

TRUST
Current mood: contemplative

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when you discover that someone else believes in you and is willing to trust you with thier heart.

SHARING
Category: Blogging

Many people are ensnared by what we term ties of relationship. It is well for us to remember that our true relatives are not necessarily those who are connected by ties of blood. Our truest relatives are those who are nearest akin to us in mind, soul, and spirit. Our nearest relatives may be those we have not seen, but to whom we will be drawn, either in this form of life or another, through that ever working and never failing law of attraction.

The Playground of Life

One hour devoted to the pursuit of Beauty
And Love is worth a full century of glory
Given by the frightened weak to the strong.

From that hour comes man's Truth; and
During that century Truth sleeps between
The restless arms of disturbing dreams.

In that hour the soul sees for herself
The Natural Law, and for that century she
Imprisons herself behind the law of man;
And she is shackled with irons of oppression.

That hour was the inspiration of the Songs
Of Solomon, an that century was the blind
Power which destroyed the temple of Baalbek.

That hour was the birth of the Sermon on the
Mount, and that century wrecked the castles of
Palmyra and the Tower of Babylon.

That hour was the Hegira of Mohammed and that
Century forgot Allah, Golgotha, and Sinai.

One hour devoted to mourning and lamenting the
Stolen equality of the weak is nobler than a
Century filled with greed and usurpation.

It is at that hour when the heart is
Purified by flaming sorrow and
Illuminated by the torch of Love.
And in that century, desires for Truth
Are buried in the bosom of the earth.
That hour is the root which must flourish.
That hour of meditation, the hour of
Prayer, and the hour of a new era of good.

And that century is a life of Nero spent
On self-investment taken solely from
Earthly substance.

This is life.
Portrayed on the stage for ages;
Recorded earthly for centuries;
Lived in strangeness for years;
Sung as a hymn for days;
Exalted but for an hour, but the
Hour is treasured by Eternity as a jewel

Kahlil Gibran............... C...      1914

The Evolution of the Soul
Current mood: contemplative
Category: Religion and Philosophy

   From the moment we are born, our souls may feel heavy because
they are carrying the weight of all we have lived, loved, and learned in our
past incarnations. It is only when we actively seek to work through our issues
that we can lighten the load and our souls can evolve. Divesting ourselves of
what no longer serves us, such as unwarranted fear, the inability to feel
empathy, or self-limiting behaviors, are just some of the many challenges we may
face in this lifetime. While some issues we face are easier to deal with because
they are the final remains of residue from a past life, other issues offer
greater challenges because we are meant to work through them throughout this
lifetime.

Often, we expect ourselves to recover quickly from difficult or painful
circumstances. When we do not or cannot, we may feel emotionally inept or
hopeless. The evolution of the soul, however, is an ongoing process that can
take many lifetimes. It is a matter of accepting that even when we do our best
there are going to be situations, people, and outcomes that we cannot control.
It is also important to remember that your experiences now may be setting the
groundwork for future healing-whether in this lifetime or the next one. The more
you release in each time, the more you grow and the more your soul will evolve, into the Beautiful thing it is supposed to be.
