Peoples, you don't even know! After spending a full week with We Fight For Cock at 23, SOMETHING WUNDERBAR happened und We now have TWO songs in the American Idol online Top Ten Comedy chart: We Fight For Cock at 2 und Frodonator at 9! What is this now--like a million weeks on this chart? Und we are LOVING IT!
Could we possibly be loving life any more? Yes, yes we could!
For we have two interviews with PS's Udo Von DuYu out there in internet-land: one for Skope Magazine's quarterly podcast, und one for the Classic Metal Show. For the first one, the very nice interviewer had some trouble with her equipment, so Udo agreed to a second interview at his expense. For the CMS one, Udo had to call from ein house party in the Castro, und maybe said some things he should not have. Let's just say old Udie loves the Jagermesiter und it shows.
Will this run of incredible success lead for more sales of our Gay Metal Magnum Opus OUT AT THE DEVIL, available at CDBaby, iTunes, und Amazon.com? Well of course it will. That is called "Positive relization" or something.
Holding ever-so-firm at number 3, peoples! We are making American Idol online history by being the first Gay Metal band to spend seven straight weeks on the American Idol Comedy charts.

Are PINK STEEL media whores, people? Yes. Yes, we are.
Our own Udo Von DuYu spent a bit of his otherwise-packed Saturday night doing a live phoner with the nice boys at The Classic Metal Show! He took a few minutes away from one of the many parties he normally attends in the Castro to talk with jovial hosts Chris und Neely, talking about classic metal, gaydar, the passing of Robbin Crosby (who died from heroin use und AIDS-related complications in 2002), und lots of other stuff Udo doesn't remember because he was so drunk. He's pretty sure he said something about Paul Stanley that he will have to publicly retract some day. But we'll never know unless CMS decides to podcast the interview.
He does remember, however, that the boys were on their best behavior during the interview, und that he had a great time. How can you not love a show with a theme song like this one?
What we can't understand is how we are trailing behind songs like "Oral Sex Show" und "The Cat Took My Balls." Some people have no taste.
By the way, we are looking for someone to do remixes of songs from Out At The Devil for us. We have no money, mind you, but rights to remix are guaranteed under a Creative Commons license. Forward-thinking!
