Prayers and well wishes for a friend.....

I have a dear sweet friend from etsy (lunastar) who has an adorable daughter, Ms. Debbie. Who is my little fairy friend!  

Well Ms. Debbie will be going in for brain surgery this week. As you can imagine they could both use as many encouraging words and prayers as can be managed and we would all be so grateful!

Big hugs for Debbie and her mommy Carrie!

As an update, Carrie wrote me this evening and stated the Dr. contacted them and he wanted them at the hospital for surgery NOW.
So please keep them in your prayers!

Such a wonderful soap, the scent is gorgeous and the lather is divine. Made with goat milk and other beneficial oils, blended into our lovely soap are the spices nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger. One of my favorite Halloween soaps!

August 29, 2008 - Friday Delays Delays Delays Current mood: blah Category: Life So, as many of you have noticed (and written to me about) I have had a looong string of delays and being late with stuff. I've been sick, sleeping, down like a dog and just generally feeling like crap for months. Then the drama of knowing/being related to... dramatic people... and having to go to Bama.. I haven't been able to keep up with stuff as I am pretty much living on my onsies. My Dr has given me a counter full of medications for everything under the sun... including depression.. blah. I filled each one with the hope that I would feel better and be my old self... only to find most of them make me sleep even more!! : / Finally, after losing the ability to breathe this week, and the counter full of medications haven't made me feel much better.. my dr flips through my file and says "oh, we better get you back on your thyroid medication" Doh. Apparently it's been low for a while, but didn't put me back on it. I had to stop taking it for my surgery last November and haven't had any since. So hopefully that will be a portion of the mystery solved and I will truly feel better and be back on my game. It's been a really negative personal and business experience I'll tell ya. So... I am pretty well caught up with Pixie Potions... I made over 60 perfume wands yesterday... and 12 or so lb's of soap this last week. Orders will start mailing out asap. I haven't been meaning to be a sucky pixie on purpose. :( Hopefully I'll be ahead with new Halloween products and fragrances. Desire ~ An alluring, sensual fragrance. Top notes of fresh citrus and vetiver and rose geranium, middle notes of jasmine, lily of the valley; and bottom notes of amber guise, vanilla, and musk. Roses & Violets ~ A soothing medley of wild rose and sweet violet blossoms with touches of coconut, orange, and musk.    Fairy Kisses ~ A playful fragrance which is alluring, energetic, and fun. This fragrance begins with top notes of raspberry, blackberry, and fresh strawberries. Followed with notes of coconut milk and freshly picked roses. Ending in bottom notes of Egyptian vanilla and amber musk. Honeysuckle ~ This Honeysuckle is a true honeysuckle scent. Bold and white-smelling scent. Verbena & Lemon ~ A gorgeous blend of Verbena and splashes of citrus of lemon and orange. Our version of Le Couvent des Minimes. Amber ~ The resinous scent of amber essence. One of my favorites!  Chocolate Moon ~  A truly romantic, seductive blend. With base notes of white and dark chocolate, it smells almost edible! Following notes include violet, fresh jasmine, musk, blackberries, vanilla, and just a hint of fresh green top notes.  gorgeous scent! Sweet Grass ~ A bright, green scent, somewhere between fresh hay and grass. Mayan Gold ~  This luxurious fragrance is a mix of rare woods, spices and amber. This blend contains a large amount of essential oils (sandalwood, patchouli, clary sage, vetiver, mandarin, lemon, grapefruit, neroli) along with synthetic notes of Vanilla, Chocolate and Musk. Baby Rose ~ This fragrance is a light, pink rose. It smells like the petite baby roses. Light Blue ~ Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue is a light floral fragrance with top notes of Sicilian Citron, Granny Smith Apples and Bluebells, entwined with middle notes of Jasmine, Bamboo and White Rose rounded off with Cedar, Amber and Musk. Green Garden ~ This is a fresh green smelling slightly spicy fragrance with notes of Violet, Jasmine, Bitter Orange, Lemon and a hint of musk. Spellbound Woods ~ a blend of Amber, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Cedarwood and the barest hint of light floral on the dry down. Tea Party Fragrances!  ~ New ~ Black Tea ~  This smoky, sexy and sophisticated fragrance is reminiscent of roasted tea leaves with strong overtones of tobacco. With surprising top notes of Italian Bergamot, Sicilian Lemon and Southern Orange, the blend winds down with Black Tea Leaves, Star Jasmine, White Cedarwood, Amber Crystal and a rich musk. To me, it reminds me of a glass of iced southern sweet tea with a touch of citrus. Green Tea ~ A new favorite!
