We've got lots of new and lovely things coming to Plush Jewellery; we've teamed up with the brilliant jeweller behind Jacks Jewellery to bring ranges of engagement, wedding and commitment rings to Plush Jewellery online.

At Plush Chichester we're showing the work of Collette Waudby, Collette uses traditional jewellery making techniques to create fabulous feminie pieces of jewellery. We'll be adding her work to our website in the very near future as well.

It’s Soon Time to Go Shopping

At the begining of every February, just when everyone in the real world is tightening their belts after Christmas, those of us in retail head off shopping in the first big session of the year. It's always good fun and we get to catch up with people we haven't seen for a while. That's why Plush Chichester will be closed on Monday and Tuesday next week. Calling All Jewellery Designers

Well there goes Christmas and here's 2008 already. Had a bit of R&R over the festive period which was lovely but now we're back with a vengance!

I know some of you creative jewellery designers out there have contacted us in the past but I'd love to hear from you if you will have a range available by the middle of this year, I'm working up an idea at the moment but need input from you out there.

Rain, Rain Go Away

Every morning I wake up and look out of the window and hope that it's going to be a lovely, crisp, sunny Wintry morning. More often than not the sky is grey and the rain is raining as if it's never going to stop. Add the gale force winds and it's stopped being fun.

Still, just a couple of weeks until Christmas and we've had a really good response to the new ranges from Kokkino www.plushjewellery.co.uk/kokkino.asp take a look over at the website and tell us what you think.

December Opening Hours

It being December and all that, we're extending our opening hours through this month. So if you find yourself near us you can pop-in and see us in the real world.

Mon - Fri: 10am - 5pm
Sat: 9am - 5:30pm
Sun: 10am - 4pm

If you can't come and see us in the real world, the website is open 24 hours a day www.plushjewellery.co.uk - we've had a few problems with our server but all is up and running like clockwork now.

Christmas is Coming

It's one of those inevitable things as the world continues to turn that Christmas is coming. I've been lucky enough to be out of the country for a week and came back to find that a) it was autumn b) the shops were full of christmas things already and c) Gaby Logan had been voted off of Strictly Come Dancing (and this year's voting system is meant to be a lot fairer?! I don't think so ).

Anyway, the gradual roll toward Christmas has seen all the new bits and pieces we've been promising at Plush Jewellery finally starting to arive. It's like Christmas every couple of days here as packages come in full of lovely shiny things.

This of course means that I have to start doing some real work and getting a decent selection of it photographed and online. Will let you know when it's ready at www.plushjewellery.co.uk

So That Was The Summer

The mornings are definitely getting chillier now. Tragically, thoughts here at Plush are already focusing on Christmas and it's ohhhh weeks away. I blame Waitrose - popped in the other evening and they've already got their Christmas stuff out.

As a small aside if you know any small people get them tracking Father Christmas online this year, thanks to Norad, there's a great story as to why the US Military does this which you can read on the website.

We're showing at a Wedding Fayre/Fair tomorrow, wish us luck, it's the first time we've done one.

Haven’t Posted for a While

Realised this morning that I haven't posted anything new on the blog recently. It's not as if there is nothing happening in the plushy world of Plush Jewellery either!

Apparently Christmas is coming, I know it's months off yet but it's about now that we have to start thinking about what lovely new things we're going to be getting in.

We are ramapantly overexcited about some really rather nice jewellery we're awaiting with bated breath. Remember Swizzles Love Hearts, the sweets that let you say what you can't find the words for? Well the same company that brought Silver and Gold last Rolos into the world are bringing out Swizzles Love Hearts Jewellery we've seen the jewellery and it is excellent!

That's not all... but I'll leave the next update for a few days.
