She waits
Category: Writing and Poetry
The skies are bleeding The ground is burning The air is freezing
I see you standing through smoke White gown bloody and charred Eyes cold and dead Wavy hair like liquid gold
Have you forgotten me?
Air of ash Air of ice
Are a death knell
Skies of flame Skies of beasts
The end is inevitable
The world is on my back My life is on your back
I need you to save me So I can save them
Have you forgotten?
You wait I walk You run I chase
The end is inevitable The ending is not.

Unanswered Letters 1
Category: Writing and Poetry
For you
I would melt my sword I would break my shield
I would travel burning fields I would travel black eternity
I would give up vengeance I would give up honor
I would forget my friends I would forsake salvation
For you.

Black Gold

and the earth shook and the skies fell
and the phoenix danced while the vixens pranced
and the earth crumbled and eternity faded
a warrior's gold all that remains

Love Letters (My V-Day effort. Gentlemen, look away...)
Category: Writing and Poetry
You damaged my mind with your voice You pierced my heart with your eyes You carried my soul in the crook of your elbow
You injected me with foolish energies You gave me purpose scolding my "errors" You unveiled heaven under blue skies
You invaded my day dreams You cost me my athletic dreams You still haunt my dreams
I could care less about your bountiful breasts or hell hot hips I found bliss like lightning when your arm looped through mine I could find true happiness in your haughty insults
I wonder where you are on this black icy night I wonder if you are still oblivious to the world's ills I wonder if you forgave me for making them up
I want to be a hero for you I want you to find me again I want to give all of it up for you
I wonder if you still have the crumpled letter I carried in my pocket for weeks I wonder if you realize you have made me blind to other women I wonder if we will ever create the Hurricane of Wit again

What will BE (Formerly What is NOT)
Category: Writing and Poetry
(circa 2002. Slightly tweaked 2008)
I rise from SuNKEN bedding,
The sun darting through my window, The sea conversing with itself outside.
A cool breeze blows in as I rise to stretch.
NO pain
I breathe deep, I smile, Gazing upon her shimmering vanilla locks draped over a satin pillow; I twirl a soft golden strand on my finger, Its sweet aroma sending tingles of adrenaline down my, Flexible spine. I
jump out of bed, Relissshing natures warm embrace, It's limitless. ??????, pads barefoot softly to my side, Grasping MY arm as she always has, Leaning her head upon my shoulder with contented Sigh.
Breakfast is served, We eat our fill, We are Trim and Fit
I later meander with mighty Ms. ?????? into town, Her smile obliterating EGOS as we wander. The people abound, tossing smiles our way with careless abandon, Requesting my signature for their books,
My published fiction series of 15 VOLUMES, It's an astounding and revered success!
I sign my life work for them, My completed quest. Then back home we travel, Where family abides, Mother, Grandparents, Etc, safe and sound, Content.
Then Ms. ?????? and I lie upon the beach, Hand in hand, Gazing up at the clear skies. The soft breeze comes to massage us, Caress us. Me and ?????? are in constant contact, an eternal hug. WE REEK OF BLISSSSS We are
Un- -chained
Lying upon the THUNDER of existence, I alongside the mighty Ms. ??????, With eternity to caress us.

I am humanity
I am a dreamer I am a believer I am a searcher I am a lover I am a fighter I am a giver I am a taker I am a thinker I am a war bringer

Of Lilies and ocean blues.
Category: Writing and Poetry
Armies of fear and fire encircling, bloodied armor creeping, thousands dieing screaming, their world burning and changing.
Warrior boy and fighter girl back to back atop the smoking hill weary and wondering bloody swords, sweat painted arms leaden with defeat.
Armies filled of false hope encircling creeping and screaming toward them closer and closer up the charred hill closer and closer, crying vengeance. Warrior boy and fighter drop swords and turn
staring into each others eyes for the first time, the last time sweat salted lips locking, burning world spinning around them, screams fading the world spinning, moaning and melting…
…fields of green, skies deep ocean blues aromas of lilies, endless sun, relaxed warm breezes, silence. Warrior boy and girl stand weaponless weariless, without worry, now and forever in wonder or what lay behind their eyes.

A Calling
Category: Writing and Poetry
A Calling
By Jason Gray
I see you standing there by the balcony
watching the waves crash or, eyeing tall trees
I see you standing somewhere after you've read words
to those who traveled wandered to this dimension to those who wondered, created this unique situation.
I hope we can share words, one moonlit night with the Texas gent or Wisconsin Goth.
England, France, Africa, Toronto, Cuba, Brazil
I hope your universe is mobile
May you cross the sea one day bring a few friends let us share words under cityscapes let us share words in barren landscapes
There are no borders
unless one insists they
are
there
Let us meet one day soon share words with poets writers, singers and jokers
such moments, make our minds clear I think.
The time is drawing near, just get up and go, do not fear.
