Who is gonna save you
When I'm gone?
And who'll watch over you
When I'm gone?

Alter Bridge @ Manchester Uni!

I'm still on very much of a high and my voice sounds as if I've inhaled stupid amounts of helium, but I haven't, obviously. I was singing away and screaming my head off like the crazy woman I am, all evening.

The night didn't start off too great, I was reversed into when going into the car park, but luckily my car didn't suffer any damage and the poor girl who did it was really upset, bless her!

After that, Chris and I stood in line in the rain before entering the hall-thingy! I bought us both Blackbird t-shirts and we waited for it to start.

It was bloody packed in there and when Alter Bridge came out, everyone went mental, including myself of course. I couldn't believe how amazing they were.

*Bows down to Myles Kennedy*

His voice is even better live, if that's possible. They rocked. I didn't want it to end :(

All in all Chris and myself really REALLY enjoyed ourselves and Chris said it was the best gig he'd ever been to, I think I may have to agree...Twas ace!!!

The Best Of Foo...
Current mood: complacent
Category: Music

Dave Grohl's my hero
Watch him as he goes!

Aha Saturday night was amazing!
Foo Fighters @ MEN...

Hmm what to say!? First of all, why do some girls go to gig's in dresses and heels? Strange.
Once we got to our seats - the end of row W, some woman with a broken arm came and asked if we'd swap seats with her and her bf, they were in the middle and about 10 rows infront so obviously we did :P

Yeah so my Foo Fighters t-shirt I bought got drenched in beer within about 5 mins of the Foos coming on stage. The back of Chris' shirt you could literally twist and get atleast half a pint, he was dripping in it, I just put my hood up but my hair was disgustingly soaked - meh!
It didnt stop us from enjoying the show though - obv!

They did a few songs on the main stage but had a walk way that was leading to a round nothingness, with railings and security.
I had a feeling they'd be doing something there. Then next minute a stage with a drum-kit and percussion shiz came down from the sky and the band all went to it and did an acousitc set. Was awesome.

It was soooo the best gig I've been to (with Stone Sour a close second :P). Grohl is a LEGEND!

Rarw....Aceness!

Category: Blogging

This heart, it beats, beats for only you
My heart is yours...

Twas 1 year yesterday. Yep, poor Chris has had to endure my company for a whole year and he still wants more - how mad can ya get!?
We went and stayed in a hotel for the weekend to have a lil celebratory thing, was much fun ;-) Was all posh and I felt like a tramp in my k-swiss and hoody haha, nevermind.

We went the Comedy Store on Friday night and there was 4 comedians on who were all really funny - Steve Gribbin was ace! I was practically crying laughing.

Anyway to cut a long story short; our weekend was really fun and my boyfriend is absolutely fantabulosis.

Love. Love. Love!

The Bestest Ever...
Current mood: sore
Category: Romance and Relationships

Has someone taken your faith?
Its real, the pain you feel
You trust, you must
Confess...

Okay so I officially have the worlds bestest boyfriend. Its the truth!

Friday he rang me to say he'd got us Foo Fighters tickets for November, which are now completely sold out - but I'm going so I dont care :P and he also got us Interpol tickets so yay!
Then when I picked him up from work, he'd been shopping in his lunch and bought me Rock 'n Rose perfume, which is totally gorgeous!
Then Sunday he booked our flights and hotel to Paris. We're going for my 21st -whoop!

Someone called me materialistic the other day and the fact of the matter is, I am, but I didnt ask him for any of it. Obviously I'm over the moon that he got them but he's just as happy. I cant help it if my boyfriend likes spoiling me! Lol. No, but seriously I love him more than anything and I guess I'm just lucky that I got one of the bestestest boys :-P

Okay so I'll stop bragging now - I just had to!
Plus I hadnt written one of these things in ages...

Chris...I love you lots - mwah!

I'm Truly Outraged!
Current mood: crushed
Category: Pets and Animals

Old McDonald had a farm
Ee-I-ee-I-ooh!

My day started with the knowledge of being bored and utter crap!
Until I received a life-changing phone call....

Okay it wasnt life-changing but it altered my day from sheer boredom to complete randomosity and fun; woot!

John and Dave picked me up and we went a pub, played games and drank coke. Then we sat in the garden and bitched like usual.
The good ole' days *sighs* hehe.

Then the madness commenced. We decided to go to Cedar Farm!

We walked around and smelt the lil animals before we saw them. Took random pictures that have turned out looking awfully crap and wandered around the tiny, hot shops. Twas quite brilliant actually! Oh and best of all it was FREE!!!

Free is without a doubt the best price ever made!

After that we went to Windmill Farm; I was all hyped up because they have more animals, a bigger park, a petting area and...wait for it

A miniature railway!

I was sooo excited. Dave parked the car and we got out to go into it and then all became heartbroken! It was £5 to get in.
"What?"
I hear you gasp! Yes a bloody fiver. None of us had money; only cards because its the 21st century, plus we werent paying to see freakin' animals. I dont even like them that much anyway. I just wanted to experience the magnificence of it all - but was knocked back, stunned, inconsolable due to the extortionate price.

So dont ever go to Windmill Farm - John, Dave and I are very upset. Feel our pain! Lol.

Just hear me out
If it's not perfect I'll perfect it till my heart explodes
I highly doubt
I can make it through another of your episodes
Lashing out
One of the petty moves you pull before you lose control
You wear me out

Hinder at the Manchester Academy last night were amazing.
I'm quickly becoming a gigaholic and its pretty good.

I drove into Wigan then we waited for the train and lots of strange-14-year-old-wannabe-whores where out parading themselves, quite pathetically but Chris and I just laughed at how young they looked yet thought they'd be able to get into clubs - bless em!

So anyway we got to Oxford Road and walked for what seemed like ages to the Academy. Then we had to go up these horrible spiral stairs that wobbled and felt like they were gonna break; but it was worth it.

Twas only a small gig but Hinder were totally immense. The lead singer (Austin - which Chris quickly informed me wasnt much of a rock name lol) has a great voice and I was quite impressed, even though he danced like he was a camp-gay-bloke-on-crack lol. Was boss though.

On the train home we had some drunk girl sat behind us tormenting the life out of her boyfriend until she threw up just before we were getting off. I got up and stood by the door cause there was no way in hell I was being covered by her. Urgh!

Anyway was a good night and we really enjoyed it - so there!

Through The Glass
Current mood: hyper
Category: Music

Yeah - Cut right into me
Yeah - because I am made of SCARS
Yes, I am made of SCARS!

Tonight; Manchester Carling Apollo + STONE SOUR = Fuckin' amazing!

I've been to quite a few gigs in my time (I sound old lol ya know what I mean) but this one was the best I've been to yet.
I've liked Stone Sour for a while and Chris got us tickets before Christmas, but after seeing them tonight, the liking has turned to loving. They are immense.
Corey Taylor has a great voice (and body; he wasn't wearing a shirt lol) and it was just too good. I'm still all hyper from it and cant stop singing haha. I wont be sleeping tonight with all the songs floating around in my head.
The atmosphere in the theatre was electric and we both totally loved the whole thing. I'd lost my voice and couldnt hear anything when we left lol.

Rawr, it was boss!

Fill My Little World
Current mood: cold
Category: Music

They tell me to fight it
But they can bloody well just try it
I'll never be the same without you

Last night Chris and I went and watched The Feeling at Liverpool Uni. He'd seen them before and said they were crap but me being me wanted to make up my own mind about them. And they rocked!

We got to the Uni just after 7:30 and the queue was huage. It went back on itself and it was cold so I wasnt best impressed. Plus I found out the week before that The Fray were supporting The Feeling so didnt wanna miss them. I've became slightly obsessed for some reason. So we waited and I got all impatient in case I missed them. Anyway we got in and I could hear them playing so practically legged it into the room just as they started 'How to save a life'. Its quite pathetic how excited I was because I had this massive smile that wouldnt falter and it was just too good.

So when The Feeling came on they were immense too, it was a really good show and Chris admitted they were much better than the last time he's seen them.

'Penguin lady' made the whole night even better. There was some woman who was like 35 dancing like (what Chris and I said) a scouse penguin. She was kind of waddling side to side like a penguin but doing this strange shoulder movement like she was offering someone outside lol, then she'd play her imaginary drums as each song ended. MADNESS!!! I couldnt stop laughing at the weirdo! She probably thought she looked great too haha, bless her.

So yup twas a very good gig :) and I got a t-shirt; The Fray of course!

London Baby - I'll Be Back
Category: Travel and Places

I woke up today in London
As the plane was touching down
All I could think about was Monday
Maybe I'd be back around

Valentines Day on Wednesday rocked! Chris cooked us a meal at his house and we watched the DVD he bought me as a present. He also got me a bunch of pink roses (because he knows pink is my favourite colour) and a single red rose. It was a really good night on the whole :)

Friday morning I was awake before 9, not sleeping much the previous night because I'd been way too excited. My mum dropped Chris and me off at Wigan train station to catch the 11:01 train to Euston. We'd had this trip booked for so long I didn't think it'd ever come around.

The train journey up to Euston wasn't too bad, it went pretty quick, with Chris and me ignoring each other and just listening to our iPod's lol.

We arrived there just after 1pm and set out to find our hotel. How fun! We decided to go right out of the station and continue down the main road but I noticed that we were going in the wrong direction because the buildings were numbered (we did have a map yes, did we know how to read it? Erm kind of hehe). The hotel ended up being literally a stones throw away from the actual train station. It was right in between Kings Cross and Euston so I knew we'd have no problems with the Underground.

We checked in and were informed that we'd booked the Executive Suite, I instantly became all giddy and practically ran to the lift. Our room was on the 12th floor and it was bloody high up. When we got to the lobby on our floor and first seen how high we were I felt kind of sick, but soon got used to it. We eventually got into our room after the first cards not working and it was amazing. It was sooooo posh. I started jumping on the bed and dancing around because I was that excited and it felt surreal :D Anyway we checked out the room, Chris unpacked and I flung a few things in a Sarah-like manner around (made it homely) then we headed to Kings Cross. From there we took the Underground Tube to Bond Street for a spot of le shopping.

According to my mother I wasn't allowed shoes or bags. So guess what I bought?!?! Well Chris bought me some Skechers, they're beautiful. Pink and black with white skulls on, I love them. Then he spotted a big black bag with pink skulls on, so obviously I had to have that too. It was essential, my mother will realise this. I also got a Swatch and bought Chris and myself a t-shirt each from HMV.

Neither of us slept much that night mainly because of new surroundings but also because we were sore with being on the train for so long and just having an all round hectic kinda day. We woke up pretty early on Saturday and Chris called Room Service for our breakfast. You should have seen it, I'm sure they thought there was 5 of us staying in our room. It was huage! Lush though. Twas very nice indeed.

So yeah we got ready and headed towards the London Dungeon. It was a good job we got there at the time we did because the queue was really long, I think we waited in it for an hour but it was well worth it. An actor was randomly entertaining the crowd and was painting 'slashes' and 'scabs' on the faces of young kids who waited patiently. So when he got to us, like I was giving up the opportunity to have a fake cut…as if. So he 'slashed' my hand with the red paint thingy and it looked pretty cool.

I'd been the Dungeon before so knew where to stand, what to look at etc so I didn't get wet lol. But I still ended up screaming and jumping out of my skin quite a few times because the atmosphere is so intense. Even Chris jumped a few times which I found hilarious. At one point I told him that something was about to happen and when it did he still shit himself because it was virtually unexpected. We both really enjoyed it though, it was great.

After that we went over to Waterloo to pick up our tickets for the Eye. Our 'flight', as they call it, wasn't until 6pm so we had quite a few hours to kill. We walked (well I practically ran) across the Jubilee Bridge (I'm terrified of bridges - weird I know), found somewhere to eat then went up to Trafalgar Square. I bought a book and we looked around a few shops before going back.

We waited in the queue for almost 45 minutes and when we finally got on it, I hated it. Again, been on it before and only remembered I hated it as I got on it this time. Its too high, it rocks and its just not nice. I sat on the bench clinging on for my life, turning my knuckles white and basically just loathing the whole experience. When it finally started to descend I felt much better and Chris took some pictures of us and London itself.

It was freezing when we finally got off the stupidness that is the Eye, so we took more pictures while being safely on the ground, got some hot drinks and went back to the Underground. When we finally got back to our room we were both shattered so we ordered some food, watched a bit of TV and I went completely dead to the world.

Waking up this morning was horrible. I knew the weekend I'd so been looking forward to had came to an end and I couldn't do anything to stop it. I just wanted it to start all over again (minus the ride on the Eye) or stay longer. Chris promised me we'd go again soon so I'm definitely holding him to that.

The train home was quick even though it was longer than going there. I really didn't want to be on that train though :(

So now I'm back home and it officially sucks. But my weekend was the best ever. I loved the whole experience and my boyfriend is truly amazing. He made the entire trip better just because he was there.

Christopher; I love you :P

That's it, I'm back in Skem and going to sulk now lol.

If I Like It I'll Buy It; Impulse Shopping
Current mood: dirty
Category: Life

Whoever said money cant buy happiness
Simply didnt know where to go
Shopping!

I realised that I hadnt done one of these since my birthday which was bloody ages ago; so here goes...
My weekend was random but most fun! Friday night we were meant to go to The Trafford Centre but didnt so instead Chris and I went into Southport for a meal and a wander. It was bloody cold. My hands were like ice as we walked around. Apparently Southport is where all the 14 year old kids congregate, get pissed off a bottle of vodka between about 50 of them and act like they own the place. Its quite pathetic to watch. And before you think it, when I was that age I didnt do that kinda thing *looks innocent* I really never!
Anyway like the kids Chris and I are, we played in the arcades and he beat me amazingly at pool; which if I might add I was absolutely crap at but I demand a rematch because sometimes I can actually hit the balls lol. Then my poor baby got very stressed when he couldnt win me a teddy on them fixed claw things, it was very cute lol. He bought me my Sophie Kinsella book aswell so I'll be starting that this week :D

The Derby on Saturday was controversial. My family are all Red's and Chris and all his Blue's. I was a traitor (a Liverpudlian in an Evertonian house, tut tut haha) and went to his and watched it though, it was crap; the match that is lol.
We were meant to go the cinema that evening to watch Gridiron Gang but the fog was crazy and I didnt fancy driving in it so we came to mine and Chris stayed over ;)

Yesterday we went The Trafford Centre though. Yay! I told Paula (Chris' mum) the previous night that I wasnt going to buy anything and I actually believed it. How wrong!? Lol. I intended on using the Accessorize vouchers John got me for Xmas and that was it because I'm saving my moneys! But once I got into Accessorize I couldnt just get one thing. I got my pink scarf I intended on buying before I even walked in the shop but I fell in love with a big fuchsia pink bag and needed it. I quite bravely walked away and continued around the shop but Chris could see the longing in my face and convinced me to get it. Not that I needed much convincing lol. I knew I'd end up taking it home.
Yes I'm raving on about a bag but its beautiful. I'm in love with it :P
I also got a gorgeously cute black pad covered in lil skulls a memo block and Chris bought me Alkaline Trio's album so I'm still all happy!
The fog was still crazy when we got home so we ordered Miami Vice on Sky Box Office. It was shit. I was bored after the first half hour. I'd been told it was rubbish but wanted to make my own mind up and was disappointed that I didnt take the dudes advice. Ah well.

Oh and the thing about my mood being dirty is not because I'm feeling horny or anything lol. I've been tidying up all morning and I'm waiting for my brother to get out the shower haha.

And last of all a note to Chris; You shouldnt be reading this in work you naughty boy, get some work done for a change hehe. I love you :P

That is all....
