Nine Months

Well it's been a while since I've written a blog. Apart from yesturday, when I wrote a whole blog and Myspaz deleted the bloody thing. gr.
Well, I can't believe I have survived my first year at Uni! And I have just a few weeks left I can officially call myself a Fresher...then 1st October it's into the second year and I have to actually start doing work! lol.
I've had an amazing nine months since I started uni, and when I think back to how different my life is from a year ago it makes me smile. I look forward to getting up everyday and not dreading sitting and staring at a computer screen all day talking to customer. Although my friends in Sales kept me sane, and I love them and am so glad we're all still friends.
Ive changed alot myself since Uni. I've become alot more confident and happy. And have made some amazing new freinds through Uni and work, of course Terri, Steph and Charmaine have kept me sane at Uni, listening to me cry over everything from Boys to the fact I was just really tired (thank you for my ice cream that day Charmaine!!) and I can't wait for us all to move in.
Work is brilliant. Its not really work, it's getting paid to hang out with my friends and serve the occasional drink and I love everyone I work with. And of course it serves an even better purpose, the place where i met Alex :) Which has caused me to smile even more lately.
This summers going to be a good one. I can't wait.
Thank you to all my friends, the ones I've had for years (Jo, Sophie, Emma, Hanna..), those I've known quite a while (Catherine, Ellie, all my sales girls, Pam) and those who are new (all my dancers, everyone at work.) you've made me very happy.

My life....

God, it's been a while since I have posted one of these!!
Well....I am still a very happy little bunny. Living in Uni halls is fab, I love it and it is the best decision I have made. I love my Uni friends and can't wait to move in with Steph, Terri and Charmaine next year! Dance house kids! yay!
I am also no longer single :) Thanks to the loverly Alex but most of you already know that anyways!
Just come back from Australia where I had the best holiday of my life. It was totally amazing and I have fallen in love with Sydney. It is a awesome city, its so clean and beautiful and vibrant. I would have stayed there happily and I know I will go back there for a long time, hopefully not too far away! We also went into the Country side and the Wine making district the Hunter Valley, we made it up to the Blue Mountains as well which was a true contrast to Sydney and totally beautiful - I went on a bush walk....in flip flops...and ended up totally covered in mud! But it was brilliant fun and we saw waterfalls and spiders and lizards.
Last term of my first year of Uni...scary stuff but I can't wait for the summer, it's gonna be a good one!

Update....!

Well...I haven't written a Blog for so long, and so much has gone on - I thought it only right to update everyone.
Well the biggest change in my life, is that I am now a single girl. Very newly single, so it still feels a little strange. But it's all good, I'm spending lots of time with my friends and having a good time whatever group of friends I'm with. I'm also concentrating on my Ballet (aaah exam soon!) and my Uni work.
Speaking of Uni.....I've also moved into Halls of residence! I got soooo fed up of driving in all the time, and my mates had a spare room - so why not! My rooms all homey and cute, it's got all my stuff in it, although my TV doesnt work. Still getting used to sleepless nights lol but it's all part and parcel of the fun!
So, now based in Northampton, anyone need a place to crash - my floors always free :)

Rant!!

So...Im having a massive rant. Friday night, I opened a magazine, and this GORGEOUS dress was advertised in it from Next. So perfect for my Christmas party and wearing in London over the New Year.
So...8am Saturday morning, I get up and drive to Next for 9am for the shops opening. Get in...only dresses in size 12, 14, 16 and 18. Thats helpfull!! So I asked the girl at the counter who said they have no small sizes. So she checked on the computer....No shop has anything under a 10. GREAT!
So...I got online. ALL sizes 6, 8 and 10 are OUT OF STOCK! Bearing in mind this dress is advertised in about a million magazines, is postered all over their shop and is the FIRST thing you see logging onto your website. Oh yeah and the model is a size 6 so surely they should stock size 6's!!!!!!!!!
It makes me so angry that shops ALWAYS run out of small sizes firts, its not my fault I'm a midget, I would just like a pretty dress! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
Phew, that feels better.
Still want the dress though.

First essay done

So proud of myself. I have actually done my first essay for University. And i kinda sound like I know what I'm talking about when I'm on about Expressionism in the Arts. Im glad I managed to dig outmy essay writing skills from long ago and dust them off!
So, as a treat for doing my essay I'm off into town to buy my Wife a birthday present and my friend Ellie her birthday present. I would treat myself, But I am poor as my dent in my car is costing £350 to fix. How crap. I am then going ot be healthy and go to the gym then come home and do more work - how exciting. Gotta be done!
So cold right now as mum refuses to put the heating on. At least the gym will warm me up!

Hair and Choreography. hmm.
Current mood:  hungry
Why at 12:42 on a Saturday have I already been up Four hours?! Thats not normal is it? And now I'm really sleepy.
So I'm bored and am 'reading' Choreography Principles and Practice for my Uni work. Except it's really boring and makes no sense!! Who cares if you can teach choreography or not?
I'm going to see Daniel in a bit anyway so that will cheer me up. He had his hair cut yesturday and I've still not seen it and I'm excited to see how nice it looks cos I've had positive feedback from his mates and sister.
I still can't decide if I want to stay blonde or go brunette. It's a hard desicion!
Anyway, I'm off to do work...

First lesson

God I'm seriously bored. Had my first proper lesson today - thought I'd be interesting. I was wrong...so wrong. It ended 45mins early after some crappy test online. Zzzzz boring. So now I'm in Northampton with nothing to do until 6:30pm when I have ballet. I refuse to drive all the way home to come back to Northampton later for ballet because thats 50 miles! and now Im a student I can't afford the petrol. So here I am sitting on Myspace. Im trying to work msn but it's confusing me.
My mummy said she was going to ring me and meet me in town cos she has Next vouchers to spend (yay) and I have £40 Top Shop vouchers to spend from my leaving present from work. So I can spend money...without spending money! Hurrah!
I might then go to the gym to kill an hour or so. I need to get more fit, I'm a dancer and I get knackered out too easily! I don't mind going to the gym once I'm acutally there but it's actually getting there that always causes the problems cos I usually really really can't be arsed. But i WILL be a good girl today.
Anyway...Im off to bore myself even more with the internet.

One week down...
Current mood:  complacent
Well, I've survived my first week of University! And I'm very proud lol. It's been good, I've met some nice people and done lots of dancing. I've sorted out all my time table now and there are some rubbish bits - Like starting at 9am on a Monday and being in from 9:30am till 4pm on a Friday but on a Wednesday I don't start till 2pm! So I can snooze lots.
I got the job at the pub but I was then offered another job at a nicer pub for more dosh (yay) so I am starting there on Wednesday. And I don't have to wear a shitty uniform I just have to wear all black which is good!
Tonight I'm going to see Click after I've gone to see my beautiful baby niece so bye for now x x x x x x x x
