Back To The Future...Back To The Real Me!
Category: Life
Hello my fellow comrades. Feels like I have been dealing with too much drama off of MySpace and my past chosen company. I 'm back to being that community leading Prune who loves life and REAL not FAKE people. I miss my genuine conversations with my nutty colleagues. The sticky spidy suit is gone and I look forward to setting up dates to network or just hang out. Let's see where the path takes us. Thank you my fellow Jedi's and it will be nice to hear from you! I'll go to Houston or you come to Austin (for my Bayou City buffs)!

My Army buddies...
So I am out with my army buddies and typing a blog. What a multi-tasker! Both don't like Myspace...Can I blame em? Well, I am here saluting them. The guys that stand on the front lines for you and me to sit on our butts and MySpace...Ooooo. Not the ones that just play dress up and run band aids. Back to playing night vision and scavenger hunt...meaning: red ball in corner pocket! Well, I promised to give my buddies a blog salut...so show them some love! One goes back in June, my prayers with him. One stays here to give me orders.

I’m Living in a Virtual World and I am a Virtual Girl!
Current mood: nerdy
Category: Life
You know since I was a youth I can remember my first computer... The Commodore 6400!!! I was fascinated how things operated and how wires worked. I was told I broke apart my Atari to take a look-see. I enjoy the dynamics of micro-chips and nano-technology. What I do now for a living involves computer forensics, design, code... basically, I am a Virtual Girl! What brought this label or thought on?... Yesterday, I got a really bad paper cut. When it happened I looked at my finger and at the paper for a long, long time. Just sat there in silence looking very curious at this foreign tangible, flimsy object. Coming from an artist that loved to draw on compressed wood. I have forgotten what paper is and even feels like. It's gotten so bad in the e-mail world, I rarely check my real mail. By the time I do, my bills are late. Perhaps, handling them online is my net step. Hey...I'm not that bad! Even at work, on my own leisure time, I love to read instruction manuals--online, e-books. I haven't came clean about this to no one, feels good writing it down. I mean anything from software manuals to new computer manuals...I just need (Like Johnny-5 in the movie 'Short Circuit')..... More INPUT-More INPUT! I sneak a read at work.... so when I get home I can just hang and not let anyone see! What the... Well...hehehe I hear in China they have 30 day technology Detox so nothing electronic for your entire session in rehab. Hmm... Nah, I can't change myself. ONWARD and UPWARD!!!! This is what makes me a Virtual Girl!

The Anti-Christ persuades KATAMARI 4 for Xbox!
Current mood: aggravated
Category: Life
NOT COOL! Katamari Damacy 4 is only out for Xbox 360....well...we refuse to buy Bill Gate's stolen technology! I LOVE KATAMARI DAMACY, but can't bring myself to get an Xbox! This is a TRAVESTY! What to do??? However, Me & My Katamari 3 is available for PSP. So I can get a handheld PSP although the controls are not great, but at least it's not a Bill Gate child! Yeah, I have 2 playstations and we have 1 GameCube, but no XBOXERS here! Bill Gates also took Marathon & Halo 2 & 3 from us...but at least MAC rules the world! Please visit http://katamari.namco.com/ to get to know or just enjoy the explanation of Katamari's world. Go to the Fan Gallery...it's a hoot! It will change your life! The King Rules!

Zippered Body
Current mood: touched

Zippered Body
Imagine being intaked spiritually, but being trapped in your own flesh. Healthy people behind bars doing time, they don't understand they are the ones free. Imagine your body being your own prison. Pain so intense you want to take off your skin and leave it behind. Pacing in circles inside a cage. "Ahh, feels like freedom to me." Oh, to feel my muscles, touch my toes, wiggle my nose, and mmmm....take in that nice healthy breath of air. I can't wait God! I'm hear listening...I've always loved you, even through all this! When is it time that I get my break?" When my Father, When?"

Random lights placed systematically....
Current mood: thankful
You know I was honored to see Maya Angelou's last visit to Houston a few years ago. She said that people placed in our lives were like lights placed under our feets, guiding our paths, guiding our destinations. Some burn brighter than others and some start to flicker, dim, and eventually fade away. Those that burn brighter served a purpose. Hmm....Powerful words indeed, touching, and true. My mind wondered and I started to think that those lights that flickered away where perhaps not the true path to have taken in the first place. Even if you took them, they couldn't be mistakes they still helped you get through a dark tunnel or night, you just can't help not to say..."Thank you little light for shining on this small part of my path." Maybe, some were mistakes, but they where blown out rather quickly and we learned from them. Now those that burn bright could be captivating, tempting, and if there are so many which one do you take? It's not for us to chose, but when your heart and mind are in one accord...you can tell the lights that are safer--the ones that shine with bliss. Yet, I believe that there is just one light to chose or be lead to and once you find that light...it will wrap around you and sucumb you. Show you things, take care of you, and guide you to the true light here on our physical earth that will never burn out. Thanks to all my lights, but with all my heart, thanks to My Creator and my real light(s) he chose for me on this physical earth! You illuminate me...

Why Are People So Stuck To Wordly Advice?
You know I rarely leave comments like this up, but Prune just couldn't help herself. I don't understand why people are so hung up on the shallow end of things in life when there is so much of this crazy world to experience. Perhaps that is why I blend well with spiritual people, geeks, philanthropists, artists, musicians, writers, and yes gamers! Perhaps, we spend too much time getting advice from all the wrong people when we shouldn't even be asking these people in the first place. Like this MySpace thing....Is it too out of hand? I mean yeah it's nice to get connected with bands, old friends, but what really do we make of it? Is it because we have this infinite space of sharing ourselves to the world. Does it make us feel "Special"? Does it fill a "Void"? or Does it just keep us company? I suppose it's just another way to get connected....right? Good save, but all in all..as always...people tend to buy into the hype'. I mean we are the people making the fat cats fatter, richer, and greedier. I prefer Andy Warhol's theory about 15 minutes of fame...but natural fame guys and gals...not pushed fame! Not fame we create...Let it find you...Blessings, a Prune

I am a Japanimation Junkie...
Current mood: rejuvenated
I am a HUGE fan of Director: Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata. I can't get enough of the stories! I have lots of respect for 'Studio Ghibli' films! To name a few movies, I love, just love, 'Whisper of the Heart', Nausica'A' (reminds me of Final Fantasy), Pom Poko, Kiki's Delivery service, Grave of the Fireflies, Spirited Away. I mean, it goes beyond the story...granted I am a Pixar fan, but my heart still lies with Japanimation. It bothers me sometimes that Walt Disney has to pick up the flicks and throw in American Actors voices to intrigue us. I mean I undertsand why, but not me, I'd rather have it in gold ole' Japanese. I need the true source of it all...you know? I'll use 'Whisper of the Heart' as an example. You have to watch it more than once to get all the metaphors. The ambience of Tokyo lights, the pleasent warm and inviting animation, the flow of the characters, and the music from Yuji Nomi is amazing! It makes you almost feel you know the people behind the scenes. That would be a long life dream of mine to meet these people one day. I would be beyond honored! Well, I encourage you rift rafts to go purchase more than a few! If you share the same love out there, please tell me your favorites!
