This is important... please watch it
Current mood: sad
Category: somber Life

http://www.cnn.com/video/(insert number sign)/video/world/2008/06/10/lah.japan.suicide.cliff.cnn

There seems to be some problems posting the link as it actually is, so where it says (insert number sign), replace that with the number sign, which is shift + 3 on the number row.

It's about the suicide rates in Japan, and it pretty much encompasses what TWLOHA is all about.

I got sick of seeing those ridiculously angsty blogs
Current mood: content
Category: Life

So I'm posting a new one.

Things are a lot better than they were this time 3 weeks ago, even 1 week ago.

But hell, it's the last week of school. I really only have two days of school left, tomorrow and Friday, since I don't have any tests on Thursday.

Here's to a better school year next year.

Twenty Four [Poetry]
Current mood: accomplished
Category: Writing and Poetry

It's not healthy
It really isn't, this obsession of mine
Hanging on your last words
Like they're akin to scripture,
Our ideal lives in writing

And the written word is all I get
In this time; separated by seas
Both physical and emotional
And the 24 hours between the last time
I heard your voice and the next time I'll
See your face,
They're too much

They're just too much to bear

The sand drops, and the skin sags
Eventually melting away
Maybe in our minds,
Maybe in our eyes
The meaning is lost, after all
So who really knows?

And more sand drops, becoming an urgent matter
It's a race against time
And suddenly life has become more of a race
Than an experience
A chance at learning
But who really learns in the middle of a race?

And yet I'm racing, babe
I'm racing through time
Because 23 hours remain
Until the time I'll get to see your face
And words are all I have left
And words are all I can linger on

I’m out for a while.
Current mood: disappointed
Category: Life

Yeah, I got my report card recently and just showed it to my mom.  She's not pleased.  But, for that matter, neither am I.

Most of you won't hear from me for a while.

See you on the other side.
