Interview for Washington Post Express

Hey peoples,

Right around the release of our new record we had a lovely interviewer from the Washington Post Express ask us some questions and get us incredibly drunk at our favorite local bar. Twas a good time indeed. Stories and secrets were shared and we even had the dose of the dramatics as Brent and I broke up the band midway through the interview. Don't worry though we made up and the band's still a sprightly young thing.

Look below for the link!

Talk soon,

Gareth

Vocals, Yo!

Hey guys!

We’re pleased to announce that Public Record is not just an instrumental band anymore. That’s right - we’ve got vocals, now, and lyrics. How ’bout it? The coolest part is that showgoers for our record-release mini-tour will get a chance to preview the new vocals-included songs. There will be about 4-5 of ’em. All in falsetto and vocoder - no, I kid.

Anyway’s - hope to see you all at the forthcoming gigs!

Gareth

Category: Music

HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY

Attached below is a link to a radio session we did for WPRB Princeton Radio.

Of the songs included in this session there are two (Alpto Tomato & Not Red Blank Blue) that will not be featured on our new record in March 2008.  Give 'em a listen if you're interested.

Here are a couple of blurbs about us and our performance at the Philadelphia POPPED! Festival.  Heh, umm...someone actually describes us as "Grover Washington Jr. turned up to 11." (?)
