Did Cotton Hill really die in the shrimp incident?

i think he just went away and got shin replacement surgury and is now out on the campaign trail....lmao

lets looks at some resemblences (these are excerpts from wikipedia...feel free to verify it yourself!)

Cotton Lyndal Hill was a character in the series King of the Hill. He was the father of Hank Hill. He was also a veteran who had his shins "blowed off by a Japanman's machine gun" in combat, and later had his feet attached to his knees. This made him a foot shorter than his fellow family members and causing a characteristic waddle (according to Hank, Cotton was 6' 4" (1.93 m) with his shins, 5' 0" even (1.52m) without). Despite his disability, he eventually reached the rank of Colonel in the State Militia, and was addressed as such by his friends. In the episode "Death Picks Cotton", Cotton died from injuries caused by a freak shrimp-related accident at Tokyaki's Japanese restaurant in Arlen. After trying to attack a chef at Tokyaki's, he accidentally swallows a piece of shrimp and slips and falls. At the hospital, Cotton intentionally slows his heartbeat several times to mimic death (a technique he learned at a Japanese POW camp to end torture).

this was in november 2007...and then in December who emerges as the Republican frontrunner.......

John Sidney McCain III  is the senior United States Senator from Arizona and presumptive Republican Party nominee for President of the United States in the upcoming 2008 election. McCain graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1958 and became a naval aviator, flying attack aircraft from carriers. During the Vietnam War, he nearly lost his life in the 1967 USS Forrestal fire. Later that year while on a bombing mission over North Vietnam, he was shot down, badly injured, and captured as a prisoner of war by the North Vietnamese. He spent five and a half years as a prisoner of war, experiencing episodes of torture.

this is all too similar...I truly believe that they are the same person....ha ha ha!

Two dead after separate single-vehicle accidents

A driver has been arrested on suspicion of DUI

A man and a woman are dead after two separate single-vehicle accidents Saturday night and this morning.

Andrea Gerdon, 33, of Anaheim died Saturday night around 9:30 p.m. after the Chevy Blazer she was riding in jumped the curb, flipped over and collided with a large tree on Camino de Estrella at Calle Naranja in Dana Point, said Lt. Ted Boyne of the Orange County Sheriff's Department. 

Gerdon, who was sitting in the passenger's seat, and the driver were trapped inside the vehicle.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, 35-year-old Danny Calvin Ruiz, sustained serious to moderate injuries and was taken to Mission Hospital, where he remained in ICU today, Boyne said. The sheriff's department arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Ruiz was driving westbound on Camino de Estrella when he lost control of his vehicle. Boyne said it is unclear how fast he was traveling.

*** my notes....I just spoke with her sister Suzy on the phone a little while ago who told me she had passed away...this was before I read the news report....now I'm pissed at Danny!...I dont know whats going to happen with her daughter or any of the funeral arrangements yet...I will find out more tomorrow....

I wish my landlord was’nt such a selfish bitch an put us out when we had a rent-to-own agreement and we have been on-time and now that her son has prob’s i’m screwed and out of a home and on the street soon and having to figure what recourse i have for all the improvements we’ve done on this place....btw: we just got a 30-day notice tonite and if anyone knows of a cheap place let us know...or of cheap legal help cuz we’re gettin fucked over....

life is too short..I’m numb

Today I had an incident happen at work that has me somewhat numb. I was in the breakroom around 1:30 this afternoon about to take my first bite of lunch, I heard a crashing...like glass breaking sound almost immediatly followed by a thud. I got up and rushed to the warehouse door thinking one of my employees had crashed into something with the forklift, or dropped a pallet of something with it. But as I was opening the door I hear people yelling "call 911...call 911". As I got inside, I see a body lying on the floor below one of the skylights and water spraying from a hose hanging thru the broken skylight. As I approach him he is motionless, just making something of a jurgling noise. I knelt down to check on him and my boss yells "911 says dont touch him!...the paramedics are on the way!" Well, they arrived like 3-4 mins later...which seemed to take forever. As soon as they got there I had to round up all the employees in the breakroom to keep the area clear for them. Everyone was freaking out...who was this guy...what happened? I couldnt offer them any answers at the time, but I do know now (more on that in a sec.) It was a sight that keeps flashing thru my mind at the moment, his head was split open, blood everywhere.Awhile after they had transported him to the hospital one of the police officers investigating told me that he was DOA...my heart sank....there was nothing I could do for this guy....I felt helpless. The balance of my day...which lasted until after 7 tonight, consisted of police investigations, fire dept investigators, insurance investigators, coroner dept investigators, OSHA investigators, too many to list...about 20 in all. Then after that I was with a crime-scene bio-hazard clean-up unit until we had it all cleaned up. Now, after dealing with all these investigators I know who it was and what happened. Evidently the company that shares the other half of our building hired an air-conditioning maintenence company and today was their 1st visit. The guy who fell thru was a salesman for the air-conditioning company. He had gone with the technician as it was the first visit to the new client and was helping him. He was alone on the roof at the time, and was hosing off some detergent that they had used while cleaning the neighbors air unit. He somehow slipped or tripped and fell thru our skylight. Late this afternoon the owner of his company came by and told me that he left behind a wife and three kids. Life is too short. Tomorrow I am bringing in a counciling company for my employees. I'm just kinda numb at the moment, but needed to get this off my chest. Sorry if I was too graphic about it.

ok...where to start?...hmmm....alright...tonight i get a call from the ex (kids mom) regarding my oldest son....seems he is not following her rules when she has him and wanted me to intervene...she tells me he takes off from her house after she said no and goes to some park near where i used to live in anaheim late at night on his bicycle and then when she calls him at like 9:30 pm he's saying he isnt coming home and is going to the movies and will ride his bike home or to his cousins afterwards...he's only 17 and it aint acceptable for him to be out after midnight and riding his bike 4 miles to his cousins or 10 miles to his moms...so i call him on his cell....and let him know he must follow his moms rules when he's with her...and then talk to him about what he plans on doing....he really wanted to see a movie....(transformers...more on that in a sec).....so i tell him he either has to ride over to his cousins immediatly or else arrange a ride their or to his moms after the movie cuz he cannot be riding his bike that far so late at night (it would be about an hour from now when the movie gets out....ie: 12:30 or later)..so i get him set up with a ride home from his cousins husband and call his mom and calm her ass down...uggg....(i shouldnt have to do these things on days that i dont have him, but...he is my son...so i do)....ok enough drama.....now about the transformers movie......we took my younger son & my daughter to see it this afternoon....i liked it and the kids did too.....joann said she liked the old cartoon better...oh well.....we had the younger two thursday until today instead of our usual fri-sun thing...so we are kid-less tonight and tomorrow...wont see them until the boys hockey game tuesday night...got mixed emotions over that, but i guess it'll be good to spend a lil time wif muh honey :)

omg...this afternoon after we got home from droppin the kids off at the exes i was in the kitchen doin dishes and joann had let the dog in, i wasnt really paying attention to it much, but then noticed it had something in its mouth and was like shakin it around and little green things were flying out.....well, when i went to check it out...it was a lil packet of friggin mouse poison....omfg!!! had to rush it to the animal hospital and have them induce vomiting and then give it some charcoal stuff to absorb any it didnt vomit out. now i gotta give it medication every day for the next 30 days just to be safe and then take him in for a blood test after that to see if he's still ok.

pet owners beware......your lil best freinds will get into anything and everything....gotta watch them like a newborn baby!

ps. i dunno where the hell he found it...i dont recall ever having any in the house...

update on the hockey stuff...

well...as i mentioned the other day....ducks were ahead in their series and my kids were starting their first round....so here is the update on those....

Ducks beat the Canucks in a double-overtime game thursday to move on to the next round.....

and guess what?

my boys won the same night (i didnt see the ducks game cuz i was at the rinks)...the boys were missing 3 players including their top draft choice for the team, but pulled out an 8-5 win :) Mikey got 2 goals and an assist & Chris got a goal and...well...a "roughing" penalty...uggg.....lol (he led the league in penalties this season....brat!)

so the kids are in the finals and guaranteed trophies this season....1st game is tomorrow night and will be wrapped up by the end of the week....wish them luck once more...k

yup yup...the hockey update....

ok....where to start?....lets go with the Ducks....

my "old hometown team" won last night in the 2nd round to lead the series 3-1 vs. Vancouver Canucks...wooooot!

now on to the "Important" one...

my sons team also won last night 9-2 :)

gave them the 2nd seed leading into their playooffs which start tomorrow night...

they will face the team that they beat 14-5 last tuesday i think, so the odds are good if they try hard...

wish my kiddos luck...k
