Political About Me
I am a capitalist who believes in free education and subsidized health care for the poor. I fall more to the right on some key issues but believe when the time comes, people should band together and improve our health and educational systems. Until then, the people don't deserve all the rights and responsibility's liberals hold so dear.
I believe our government lies to us but progresses us as a people. A person is rational, the people are not. If one really wants to know the truth they should look into it themselves and come to their own conclusion.
One day People will get off their couches, step out side the front door. Look at the neighbor to the left, then to the right and what ever direction they stand; Start to Work together to improve life and at that time will we deserve a true Republic. I believe it is too soon in our development as a nation to achieve the perfect utopia. One day we will be free, one day the world will be free and one day space will be free but not until we earn it.
I don't give a shit what our founding fathers did hundreds of years ago. The fact is we are an ignorant people who are entertained by a box with shiny lights. Wake the fuck up and stop believing everything with a catchy beat.
Also remember not all people are sheep. Some of us are wolfs while others are the herders. Which one are you?
If we currently live in The Information Age I believe the next age will be coined The Age of Wisdom. Like the transitions from high school to college, our purpose in the world changes from sponges of knowledge to rinses of wisdom. We take the knowledge we adsorbed from the community, then convent this information to new Ideas that fill the bucket we call culture, but remember "The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man".
The next stage of evolution will not progress on its own. All accomplishments of man resulted in the revolution of new ideas. From the wheel to the atom, Evolution stemmed from a person who trained them self to think outside the box. Take a chance and consider all unreasonable Ideas, no matter how taboo our culture demes them. Lets stop thinking we are the best and except things can and will get better.
With out crudity, we will not fight, with our norms in sight, we will not run; as a mule will not travel ahead of it's master. Our leaders are guiding us with the pursuable carrot of material positions, while blocking our field of vision in the form of corporate owned media. Our leaders guide us into labor, then to the glue factory. Until one day a glitch will occur and one person will obtain the information that the masses will convert to wisdom, then will we reach the next stage, as was the case in all of history. "The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers

Local Elections
It's so sad that only about 1600 people out of 39,000 voted in my town. On top of that I am involved with the losing end of the Streamwood elections. You can get reasonable people to spend 9 dollars on a gallon of water, but you can't get them to take 20 minutes out of their day to vote. This is why we are so corrupted, de-sensitized and un-healthy. Local elections are just as important as any another, yet I bet more people watched American Idol in my home town then voted. The people you voted for set the agenda in your day. They decide How fast you can drive, the quality of your water, where you can park and how and where you educate your kids, the list go's on.
Our suburbs are corrupted entrenched monarchy's that manipulate the local media into hiding their pile of shit under the newcomers, paving the road for grandma and her crew all the way to the polls. Meanwhile the majority of the 50 and under crowed rather watch the game then decides their fates. Older people vote because they seen what their lack of involvement as brought. We won't let them drive, but hell decides our fate…sure. Sorry to rant but I am so pissed off. All those doors, hours of talking with people, majority of citizens willing to support us with signs, and we lose because people didn't vote and don't understand the problem isn't Bush, The Man or even Uncle Sam, but the people unwillingness to except that there our ignorance, laziness and forgetfulness are why we have our domestic problems.
You know what; I would do it all over again, because in the end we took a step in the right direction. I learned a lot; meet some interesting people and most of all, 1000 more voters turned out then in the last election. On top of that we made the other side fight for a change instead of just passing seats to their friends. They sent out 7 mailers to every registered voter in Streamwood, Where we sent 1 to democrats. That must have cost them close to 35,000 for a position that pays 5,000 a year. I hope the contractors, realtors and business friends are happy, because 2 years from now we will send them packing.

Streamwood Elections
Category: News and Politics
According to an old anecdote, Benjamin Franklin was confronted by a woman as he exited the final session of the constitutional convention. "What kind of government have you given us, Dr. Franklin?" the women asked "A republic or a monarchy?" A republic, he answered, "If you can keep it." Unfortunately in Streamwood we have not been able to preserve our republic. Each time the people of Streamwood rallied a candidate towards running against Billie Roth's circle, they convene many obstacles, and this year is no different. Guy Patterson, a candidate for the Village Board of Trusties and Billie Roth's unsuccessful Senate campaign manger filed objections against Robert Eisenmenger, Tyler Gordon and William Morris's petitions to run in the forthcoming Streamwood elections. Even objecting to the legality of signatures from the candidates own mothers, wifes and neighbors. Patterson is hoping to void one signature from each page that would eliminate the whole page. It's up to the candidate to go door to door, once again, in frigid temperatures to obtain notarized affidavits from each of the questioned signatures.
The board consisting of Republican Village President Billie Roth, Clerk Kittie Kopitke and David Stoves confronted a bolt from the blue at the first hearing; these candidates are eager to put up a fight and obtained the financial assistance of many citizens in this generally democratic, exceedingly unionized town. Billie Roth knows that if the inhabitants of Streamwood had a choice, she would no longer be able to control our government and maintain her lackeys in office. While they boast about lowering the municipal property tax rate, they have driven up the property values by passing restrictions on over night parking, commercial and recreational vehicles and raising sale taxes to the highest permissible by state law. High property values may conceivably sound good to you, but that's only accommodating if you essentially sell your home, if you aren't planning on moving, you're paying more in taxes every single year. If you are forecasting on selling, don't tell the would-be buyers about the stringent new laws especially the immense transfer tax that the current administration has passed. Once they do realize the veiled taxes, they are liable to sell. This kind of trickier turns housing pretty quickly, nice for realtors like Billie Roth.
If Billie Roth has her way, paid members of her failed Senate campaign will run unopposed in the up coming April 17th election. The people can't stand by and let local elections turn into hand picked political favors. We must unite, convey our discontent for this momentous disregard for democracy and seize back the rights of all Americans to choose their elected officials. For to long have incumbents used out dated laws from the 40's to keep local candidates from running for office in their home towns. The compromises from the Democrats and Republicans were not meant to keep people from running, but to keep Marxists type parties from identifying themselves on ballots; this has caused a battle of attrition in our local races and needs to be reformed. Not that I wish for partisan politics to be introduced, but I'm neither for monarchies in the form of proxy elections nor promiscuous accusations as Guy Patterson has made. I just want the right to choose, the way Dr. Franklin has promised.

International Relations in the 20th century
Category: News and Politics
In the following Paper I will explain International Relations in the 20th century. I will briefly explain the history of the Western Industrial age leading up to the information age, defined a corporation and globalization and their effects on the world. Secondly I will explain how capitalism works in American culture, while keeping the views of the outside world in mind, and then give my outlook on international relations.
World War One (the Great War) 1907-1920 By 1907 the U.K has laid clam to her empire. The U.K had a powerful navy unmatched by any other. With over sea matters handled, the lands at home fall under the prying eyes of the monarchs of Europe. Austria-Hungry negotiate for land in Serbia, Russia laying clam to the Balkans despite her humiliating defeat at the hands of Japan; France is thirsty for revenge due to her loss of Alsace-Lorraine to the Germans. Tensions began to swelter with each great power wanting more land at the expense of lesser developed nations. A system was put in place with the goal of preventing a war caused by imperialism. The Triple Alliance composed of Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy, stood opposed to the Triple Entente composed of Britain, France, and Russia. With each country ready to act if the other was invaded. If this was the seed of World War one the root would be the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the nephew of Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria-Hungary and heir to the Austrian throne by a Serbian revolutionary. This enacted Austria-Hungry to demand certain conditions from Serbia. When all were not meet Austria-Hungry invaded Serbia with the backing of Germany on July 28, 1914. Italy hesitant to show support despite the Triple Alliance due to Austria-Hungary's out right goal of acquiring new lands. Russia begins to mobilize its forces against German contradiction. With no positive answer Germany declares war on august 1st. On the third of August, the Germans declare war on France. The U.K then declares war on Germany, the next day the World will enter a new age. Imperialism once again like in all of history the wealthy fought over land and used the masses to fight horrific wars in the names of colonialism, later to become free markets. Neither sides expected a drawn out war nor did they issue the amount of lives it would cost. World War one was the first modern war. It was the last war that used cavalry as a fighting force and the first to use aircraft, long distance projectiles and was fought inefficiently and with disregarded for human life. The war was divided into two fronts the west and the east. The western front ran from the Belgian coast to the Swiss boarder. Both sides fought in trenches, a trench is a long zing zaged hole in the ground. Most attempts at advancement were cut down by machine gun fire. Little land was gained on either front. The USA declared war on Germany on the 6th of April, 1917 .Russia resigned from the war due to the czar losing power in 1917. Finally, Germany unable to keep its citizens feed due to blockades and losses at the front; did she accept defeat at Versailles. Only then did the U.K end German starvation. The Germans were forced to give up most of her colonies and pay reparations for the war. This caused inflation and poverty for most of its people. The people often transported money in wheel barrels due to the worthlessness of the mark. The lone dollar was worth 4 trillion marks. The Ottoman Empire was divided into modern day Iraq, Iran, Turkey and Kuwait to name a few. In the end the war was pointless. Many died for no good reason and people will suffer until the end of the seconded World War. Both sides' worst off then when the war began, the people of Europe rebuild their lives only to be torn apart 20 years later. 1917 to 1929 The Czar of Russia lost power to Lenin and Trotsky in a communist revolt on Nov. 6, 1917. After the death of Lenin in 1924, Joseph Stalin rose to power and drove Trotsky out of the government by 1927. In 1919 Benito Mussolini formed his first military group that would eventually become the Fascist party in 1922. In 1919 China protested the failure of the Versailles conference to return the former German concession of Shantung that instead went to Japan, and then the creation of the Chinese Communist Party. The German workers party was created in 1919, later to become the Nazis in 1920. Later that year the League of Nations had its first meeting. The U.S didn't join but played an important role in its creation. Also in 1920 The Treaty of Sevres on August 10; Britain and France divided the former Ottoman Empire into new mandates; Syria, Transjordan, Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine. The Ottoman Empire was replaced by the new Republic of Turkey on October, 29 1923. The U.S followed a policy of Isolationism. Which they traded with Europe but stayed out of their affairs. That didn't mean the U.S didn't get involved economically and aid wise, they also lowered the interest on war debt and lowered the money to be played by Germany. By the end of the 20's Japan invaded Manchuria with out sanctions from the League of Nations and the world when into a great depression. Germany or The Allies ever paid back the amount owned to the U.S. During this period the world was recovering from the Great War and also devicing new forms of government. In some parts of the world Communism appealed to the larger middle class .Then similar to the Little Ice age and the famines during the revolutions periods of The Americans and the French in the enlighten period. This was a threat to free markets and the economies of the many European colonies in South East Asia. Japan at this time was booming almost as fast as Canada which was the hardest hit by the depression later on. Japan wanting more of the global pie; invaded parts of the east while the west was still recovering from World War One. The U.S policy of neutrality left Japan unopposed until the U.S entered World War 2. The great depression. (1929-1939) The U.K, U.S, Canada, France, Germany, Australia, Latin America and South Africa were the hardest hit. This was the first blow to capitalism. All around the world socialism embedded its self in domestic policy. In the US, Roosevelt's new deal brought welfare, unemployment insurances, social secrecy and many other state sponcerd programs. This was also the start of the FDIC that insured money belongs to people up to a certain amount. Some disagree with the new deal but the fact remains it put the U.S on the path to get out of the depression and acted as a band-aid for the hungry people of the U.S. In France, as the U.K; were still recovering from the First World War. Since unable to collect from Germany; France invaded the Ruhr. The French failed and in 1936 socialist leader Léon Blum won the election for prime minister. In Germany, the Nazi party headed by Hitler took office in 1933. American exports declined from about $5.2 billion in 1929 to $1.7 billion in 1933; but price also fell, so the bodily volume of exports only fell in half. Mostly impacted were farm commodities such as wheat, cotton, tobacco, and lumber. The collapse of farm exports caused many American farmers to default on their loans leading to the bank runs on small rural banks that characterized the early years of the Great Depression. Many economists at the time argued that the sharp decline in international trade after 1930 worsen the depression, especially for countries dependent on foreign trade. The American Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930 aggravating the depression by reducing international trade and causing retaliation. Foreign trade was a small part of overall economic activity in the United States. Many stress the negative role of the American Federal Reserve System in turning a small depression into a large one by cutting the money supply by one-third from 1930 to 1931. With significantly less money to go around, businessmen could not get loans and could not even get their old loans renewed, forcing many to stop investing. This interpretation blames the Federal Reserve, especially the New York branch, which was owned and controlled by Wall Street bankers. The Fed was primarily controlled by member banks and businessmen and it was to these groups that the Fed listened most attentively regarding policies to follow. The downward turn in the economy starting with the stock market collapse would have been just another recession. The problem was that some very large bank failures, predominantly the Bank of the United States, produced widespread runs on banks, and that the Federal Reserve did nothing while bank after bank fell. If the Federal Reserve had acted by providing emergency lending to these key banks or simply bought government bonds on the open market to provide liquidity and increase the quantity of money after the key banks fell, all the rest of the banks that fell after the very large and public ones did would not have, the money supply would not have fallen to the extent it did and would not have fallen at the speed it did. World War Two (The Good War) Fascism in Germany has reached a high point. Hitler invaded Poland on September 1st 1939 under false pretences. Two days later The U.K and France declared war on Germany, due to treaties with Poland. Canada, Australia, and New Zealand quickly followed. On the 17th of September the Russians join Germany in Poland; by attacking from the east. The last of the polish troops surrendered on the 6th of October. In Asia, Japan and Russia occupy lands while fighting each other in what is known as the second Russo-Japanese War. Germany and Italy invade lands while a phony war was fought on the eastern front between The French, U.K and Germany. Russia supplied Germany with resources to hold the front and bomb England. Not surprisingly the Germans defeated the French rather quickly on June 22, 1940. This was due in part to the German tactic of war called the blitzkrieg. This involves an initial bombardment followed by mobile forces attacking with speed to prevent an enemy from implementing a coherent defense. The Germans attacked Russia despite the German-Soviet Nonaggression Pact. The war between Germany and Britain was mostly an air and sea war until D- Day. The Germans had a better air force while the U.K had a better navy. Germanys bombed the U.K while the U.K blocked supplies to Germany cities. The US joined the U.K after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. The Allies won in most part due to Hitler's incompetence as strategists and unwillingness to work with advisers. Russia then took Berlin from the east. The US ended the war with Japan after fire bombing Japan's many wooden cities. The U.S destroyed almost every major city in Japan. Did we need to drop an Atomic bomb to scare surrender into a defeated nation? The U.S and the U.K were closing in by sea also, Russia from the west. August we bombed Hiroshima, then Russia declared war on Japan. August 9 we drop the second bomb. All the Japanese people wanted were their emperor. He is their god. That is why they didn't surrender. The surrender said nothing about their emperor, there for it was rejected. All the U.S had to do was let them keep their God. If we went the diplomatic rout we wouldn't have had to use the Atomic bomb. Many say the bomb could have been prevented and disagreed with its use. Some reason we had to do it in order to stop the invading of Japan which saved lives. There are many reasons why one would be accused of being a war criminal but one factor is always the same. That person being charge is on the losing end of a War. With the start of the industrial revolution mankind has devised enough weaponry to void the bible's "eye for an eye" version of justice in any culture. Powerful nations were able to mass produce weapons that could dominate the majority of the world. The main goal of war will always be killing. That is the point of war. How we defined a war crime is by the acts of the accuser's courts. Not by the number of people killed. The cold war (Capitalism vs. Communism) Korea An idea of the U.S propaganda strategies, The War was dubbed The Forgotten War because not many people talk about it. Yet the highest viewed show percent wise on television took place in the setting of the Korean War. In my option Alan Alda staring role and later production of Mash will be studied by Humanitarians in the future. For some one that has seen his share of Mash, the show seldom dealt with political issues other then civil rights. The warfare has begun to change. In Korea and Vietnam the trenched soldier evolved into smaller clearing and scouting groups to find bombing locations and clear "rat nests", also with occupation skills to max out profit gained while holding the city; this would often involved puppet rulers appointed by the U.S. Both theaters of operations ended poorly. The saying of history repeating itself rang true once again, like in the U.K's attempted suppression of the colonies gorillas' fighters, in the American Revolution. We should have learned that a force with similar weapons, would win if they are fighting for food and family. The history books call it a Cold War but I disagree. So would veterans of Korea, Vietnam and the many other smaller "Police actions" from the 50's on. The two super powers of the world were the US and the USSR. The USSR had a larger army where the US had a slight technological advantage. This war wasn't over land, religion or Freedom in the eyes of the super powers, but in the lands they fought in that had everything to do with it. The US and the USSR fought over influence in South East Asia while the U.K and France were unable to keep her colonies afloat. The US and the USSR had no intentions of doing this. They fought over the lands in south East Asia that the rest of the west gave up on. Both spreading their propaganda in order to streathen their hold on the world market. Economics is the lifeblood of any society there for even uneducated people will fight for a fair system through an educated leader. You cannot have communism without capitalism first. Communism arises when the working class demands more from the upper classes. When the people do not get what they want, revolutions happen. In the processing paragraphs, I will explain reasons why communism failed and how that relates to capitalism. In addition, what are the main differences between the two systems and how the modern world has adapted to a comnation of both in today's free market economies? They are two types of main governments today. "Communism is means of production by government and Capitalism is government in means of production". Socialism is a combination of capitalism and communism. In a communistic society, the government determents your needs and supplies you with the resources to live; like your peers. In a capitalist society, your resources are dependent on you and your skill level. Each person's wealth is determined on how much they can profit from the lower classes. An example is how farming firms profit from cheap immigrant's labor while large fast food chains profit from the farming firms selling the food to the masses as a huge profit. The result is a feed working class and more profit for the upper class. Capitalism is similar to a stairway. The immigrant labors on the first step and tycoons on the last. Each step towards the top better off than the last but without stepping on the lower step one cannot reach the top. The capitalist system empisises on efficiency and a communistic or socialistic system focuses on fairness. When the middle class becomes so small compared to the lower and upper class the lower class; bigger in numbers revolts and extreme change is the result. Communism is seen as a way to end starvation and put an end to wars in the name of profit. On paper, it seems to work. Over time, the effects seem positive. Starvation diminishes and disasters do not have a devastating effect since food and supplies can be distributed easier. There are many reasons why communism failed. Many point to the constant wars with capitalist societies or the idea that if people get what they want they lack the will to be productive. Some could argue that the U.S military defeats in South East Asia to the fall of the Soviet Empire by easing the fear of U.S military intervention. What ever the case communism may have failed but the ideas have not. In almost all parts of the industrialized world, we see aspects of capitalism and communism called socialism. Even in The USA, we have social service programs like Social Security, Welfare, FASA, Public schools and Health Care for poor children. While in parts of Europe, they have adopted more aspects of communism. Like universal health care for all citizens and guarantied employment. Outlook A government told us the world was flat. An explorer discovered it was round. Then a scientist on small boat hypocrisies the world was so small, we can't even see it. The world is the world because we are programmed to see it as the world. Round, squared, or shaped like a wad of gum our perception is based on our input we receive from nature. How we define nature varies somewhere between cultures and personal views, but in the end nature determines our goals, flats and accomplishments. Technology itself is part of nature from the rock to the pc. The only different the latter has more precisely placed atoms. At first nature was god and god determent your culture and way of thought. Then we discovered a different world not in the heavens but right in front of us. This world can create heaven or hell depending on the intentions of the person. Atomic energy has the will to in power a utopia or an inferno. That is for our superiors to decide. Dose natures have a say? What is the nature of today's societies? What fuels progress? The instinct to survive or greed? If all we had was the instinct to survive we would still be turning butter. Greed is what separated our species from the sub classes. Greed created atomic energy, war, propaganda and Starbucks. Without greed and propaganda would any one charge let alone pay for 3 dollars for a cup of coffee? Can man put it's self in front of animals when; as a whole they can't obtain any virtues of humanity. A person is born with the ability to adapted to its surroundings hens a person in New York would order a pop while in California you would need a blood test to get a pop. Bad jokes aside the way you, think, talk and dress are determined by what you see and hear. If you never heard of Lee or Nike would you still wear pants? Most likely I hope, but the point is you buy what your introduced too, which determines your purchases then advertisement relates it to each individual group. In turn creating a sub group that has a purpose in our culture, from the drug dealer to a cowboy, each sub group with its own style, goals and way of thought influenced by the music and TV aimed at influencing each individual group to perform their pacific task. Marketing is Micro-Political Science in a sense. What is there to gain from programming the people to act and buy certain items besides the money gained? First you can decide the next trend or keep your family in power since you can control the market from advertisement to production. No risk or crime has been committed so this system can run free from bugs except for the occasional scandal or disaster. Our government has taken a back seat to big business. Big business is chauffeuring our government around; plotting the route too there advantage? What ever the case, our military, government and corporations have become one, each needing the other to function from corporations financing our political parties to wars in the name of capitalism. We pretend to spread democracy and freedom only to force our beliefs on others by appointing political fingers with the main concern being money and not improving life for these people in economically undeveloped countries. Oh well that's life the strong overcoming the weak. The point of all this is that we pretend like this doesn't go on and ask why the outside world hates us. The fact is our government, our corporations and our ignores fuels death, but they hate us most because we are the only ones that can make a different but we don't because the TV tells us everything's ok. The revolution will not be televised it will be from the television itself. If for some reason what little we hear from the media is true. Corporations fund government. War are fought over capitalism, drugs come from white business people who find minorities to relate to younger minorities to sell drugs in schools across the country. What you would call a street gang shifted the blame away from the mob or crooked empires onto Hispanics and Blacks because they are the ones being arrested; so they must be behind it campaign emerged, enraging the public and forcing these minorities to adapted to there surrounding and inducing a cycle of jail and fine imposed on lower level dealers while the real heads sit back with legitimate business as cover. Creating a black market where the money made goes into white business that relate to the Black/Hispanic populations. You say what about heath care or any other lurgeries we take for granted. We must depend on some man or woman whose job it is to save money to choose healthcare plans that apply to some. If this cycle continues we would be dependent on big business to maintain our down graded lifestyles. If we learned anything from the past 50 years, people in power want more power and will do anything to accomplice their goals that's why they are in power in the first place. This way of thinking is what brought us this far, hell that's capitalism. On a small competitive base more people make more money but cost of business goes up and wages are reduced due to overhead and inefficiently along with higher prices from individuals buying in small quantities. On large competitive bases, markets are grouped and controlled but few people make more money. We must find a way to stabilize our economy before dependences on low quality goods and services deteriorates our already under funded infrastructure. Be decisive in our standards and norms or deception will continue to be our downfall. The United States of America has the most advanced military in the world. We spend the most resources on weapons to arm our troops, place crap in space and lead the world in wealth while we fall deeper into debt. Our corporations can operate freely; without fear of reprisal from the citizens of the counties we open free markets in. In turn profits come back to the states and are converted into new technologies and research. This is the new imperialism. It is imperil that we understand this new art of imperialism. The days of forced assimilation are gone and we must realize that in order to prevent the next world war we must persuade the peoples of improvised nations to believe in some version of our believes and norms. With out completing these goals the Koreas and Vietnams of the cold war will repeat them self. You ask your self why must we or even who are we to manipulate people into similar believes and values. Who's to say we are just in our ways and actions? Advancement is to say. After World War 2 all the great nations of the past were in runes. Europe industrial economies were turned into war production and after the war, funds and know how was needed to convert the empires of Europe into a new industrial age. Mean while the United States economies were untouched by axis forces. The U.S had a head start that gave them the advantage they needed to bully the rise of communism in war torn Asia and Europe. After the final blow to the U.S.S.R in 1989 the U.S had no adversaries to compile with and the U.S was free to open free markets any where they choose. The U.S either dominated countries with weapons that have never been imagined or placed leaders in power with U.S interest in mind. The Mid east In some way they envy us. Our largest cause of death is over eating, when in their case water is not always around. We have luxuries like cell phones in the hands of school children and advanced warning systems to combat the elements of nature. What they don't like about us is our apparent lack of religions culture. God taking a back seat to the advancement of man is unheard of. The way we see all people as equals and even diversify our government is in such a way that colored men and women hold great power scares them. They see the world though different eyes then us. God is a part of life to them, while it is an inconvenient to us. That is why I believe they fear and hate us. Until we overcome that hurtle occupation is a must in order to complete the cycle of the new imperialism. We need their resources to advance man kind in a way they deem unnecessary. Why would you care about space stations and anti-matter when you can't find a job to feed your families? Once we all put mankind in front of God, we can all get along. Don't we all believe in the same God, which we were raised by? I am a catholic but don't believe in a God that was written about a 1000s of years ago. Granted there may be a god but if there is can I really comprehend it. So I live the ways I was raised but also keep an open mind on different perspectives. I say I am a catholic since I do the customs of the Catholic Church but I have only been to church once, when I was baptized. I have seen it when I open a door for a lady; then when your girl severs you at family functions. Religion is what keeps us together. A half way point or a world wide norm that we can agree on that brings people and the sexes together, then sets them apart in the same breath. The fact is God isn't going to stop world war 3 or save a city from a nuke. We are at a cross road, Will we work together and move forward and explore space or shall we spend the resources of the plant to fight each other just because we don't believe the same story that was written 3,000 years ago. Since the beginning of Man. People controlled others in the name of god. After hundreds of years of oppression western societies decided to put people before god. The mid east then the Ottoman Empire didn't see things that way and there for science didn't flourish. After the First World War the Ottoman Empire was dissolved in to smaller nations. With out unity, they fought over land and religion. As a result they have not used the combined knowledge base of the region to prosper. World peace can not be reached when a resource heavy region is in chaos. There for the U.N must step in to push the world forward and open free markets to unite the world under a common goal. To bring the world into the new colonial age, the colonization of space. Israel For 3,330 years the Jewish people have inhabited the land of Israel and beyond. The first Jewish temple was destroyed by the Babylonian in 587 B.C.E .The people of Israel were exiled in to modern day Iraq. The land of Israel from this day forward was re-inhabited by the Israelites and decimated by the super powers of their time. Until after WW2 when the last British troops left in 1948. When the Jewish people declared independence from their last ruler under the leader ship of David Ben-Gurion did Israel gain sovereignty over their ancient homeland? Not two days later the armies of five Arab countries, Egypt, Syria, Tran Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq, invaded Israel. Claming rights to the land under the Koran which never once mentioned Jerusalem as a holy city. Despite being out numbered and out gunned the Israelites defended their home land and even occupied the land of their enemies. In the name of peace the Jewish people gave the land back to prevent further bloodshed but gaining resources. The Jewish people are not only a peace-full and intelligent people but whose history affects us all. Must we forget how these people over came genocide and miss-guided hate. This ancient culture influenced the world in so many ways and all we do in return is shit on them. Who are these terrorist states to say their practices takes presidents over a religion much older then theirs. These terrorist states don't even have the technology to put up a decent fight due to their lack of unity. Maybe if they weren't so busy killing people for land they could be a player on the world stage. Hell, maybe they could even defend them self's against the west's greed for oil. What ever the case these countries and parties have losses out on being respected by the rest of the world because of their blind fate in religions icons and ignorance when it comes to their choice of leaders. The west gave them their freedom and they threw it away, because God and money told them too. In this day of age we need to remember the horrors of a world war including nuclear warfare. Image if these people started to work together. What would happen to other peace-full nations besides Israel? We need to get these people to stop using the wealth they gain from the West to fight each other. In retrospect issues in the mid east are not black and white. No heroes or villains. We are just people who want a higher standard of living with leaders who want it all. The west and the mid east both are to blame in their own ways. U.S funding who ever are in their best interests, then placing evil people in power to vanquish their enemies, along with the mid east for not putting enough into technology thus falling behind the west then resorting to terrorism since they cant fight conventional wars. What ever the case, we need to some how both remember and forget the past and then move on. Work together and live the way we want to live not the way our leaders want us to live. Corporation and globalization Corporation in some way affect everyone. From the air you breathe, the water you drink to the cancers that we develop. Yet they go unsupervised except for our government, which is funded by corporations. A Small restaurant owner once said that there are two types of government Socialist and Capitalist, Socialism is means of production by government and Capitalism is government in means of production. I could ask anyone to name a corporation and I am sure that they could name a few with no problem except maybe naming a sub company with in a corporation. On the other hand if you ask what a corporation is most people couldn't define it. A corporation is a business or organization formed by a group of people, and it has rights and liabilities separate from those of the individuals involved. In the eyes of the law, a corporation has many of the same rights and responsibilities as a person. It may buy, sell, and own property; enter into leases and contracts; and bring lawsuits. It pays taxes. It can be prosecuted and punished (often with fines) if it violates the law. The chief advantages are that it can exist indefinitely, beyond the lifetime of any one member or founder, and that it offers its owners the protection of limited personal liability. In order to form a corporation one must obtain a state charter but first you must choose the state in which you want to incorporate. This will usually be the state where your company has its headquarters or where it conducts most of its business. Some people prefer to incorporate in states that impose few regulations or no corporate income tax, such as Delaware, Nevada, and Wyoming. Secondly you must decide whom you want as officers. Although many states require at least two or three parties to form a corporation, they need not all be shareholders. You may want to ask friends or family members to serve as the initial officers. If you remain the sole shareholder, you alone will control the corporation's activities. Now that we know what a corporation is and how it is formed lets talk about how it affects the people of the world. I will only talk about US corporations and only go into minor details about the rest of the world. First I will talk about the role corporation play for the good of society, what we do for corporations and the negative aspects of corporations in a capitalist economy A corporation has the responsibly to supply health care for its full time employees along with their spouses and dependents. It is the employees responsibly to pay a small monthly fee plus rising deductibles and co pays. In the rest of the industrialized world including china, it is the tax payer's reasonability, other wise known as universal health care where the cost is compared to the GDP. Dr. Steffie Woolhandler of Harvard Medical School points out that Japan spends 7.6% its GDP, Australia 8.5% Holland 8.6% Canada 9.5% With 11 cents on the dollar going to administration cost compared to the US where 22 cents go to administration cost. We spend 14.9% of our GDP or 5,775.00 per person that's 42% higher than in Switzerland, which has the world's second most expensive health care system next to us. On what we can save on administration cost, tax brakes and drug research give away. We could easily afford health care for all. Corporations also keep most people employed along with producing products that make our life easier in the most cost efficient way possible keeping the economic cycle going in a way that the consumer determines the price of goods by spending. They also produce weapons for the defense of democracy and too often for our enemies as well. Along with providing TV programming and news stations. So in short they control our health, products and our knowledge of the outside world and in some cases our opinions as well since information is blocked from ever reaching the masses. At first corporations were formed as a gift to the people for the public good with limits on the length of operation, profit and liability of stock holders but soon after the 14 amendment which ended slaver and states from denying life, liberty and property with out due process of law. The corporate lawyers went to the Supreme Court and argued that a corporation is a person with all rights under the constitution. So in turn the corporation grew with limitless power most still in power today. Did Lincoln grant the corporations their power? Now let's talk about what we do for corporations. We work 8 hour days, more the any other western countries for the profit of a few, buy their products and elect the government that gives them so much control over the world. Then we give corporations such huge tax brakes that any employee paid more in taxes then their employer at GE. The few but very important tasks that we do every day are what corporations run on but still we have no say or knowledge of the day to day process of there operations. Even in the day of the internet and space stations except for a few congress men our representatives, don't even publicly display their voting records. Now let's talk about how corporations harm not only us but the rest of the world. I will not even talk about the violations of human rights we all know about like child sweet shops and current dealings with evil regimes but instead I will inform you on the atrocities against human beings in the name of profit. During WW2 IBM the largest and most advanced computer manufacture for large corporations providing the most high tech computer equipment of our time, provided the Nazis with the 1940s versions of the computer, which was a punch card tally system that kept track of the millions of people the Nazis put to death during World War 2 according to a letter found address to the president and founder of IBM, not even GE's hands are clean they even conspired with German companies to control the price of war materials. Corporations are a major influence in our society from our health care or lack there of, to funding our political parties who make laws and appoints who determents our rights as consumers and human beings. Yet they go unsupervised by the people of the United States, we do not have the realistic means to obtain information on contacts made with corporations by our government to pollute and not pay taxes. Corporations control our main stream media and the way we communicate to maximize profits for a few without regarded for the greater good. Don't get me wrong we live in a great country. People go hungry but don't die; people live on the street but don't freeze to death. The poor are intilled to higher learning even though they can't afford it. We are not stuck in a social class and anyone no matter where you came from can fight for a better life and that is my point, we can have a better life. Not by production by government but a little more control and a lot less corruption in government in means of production. When a president can get elected with out the popular vote some may say its time for change. All great societies came in to power from unethical means from the Romans, Mongols and Anglo-Saxons, but what sets people and sheep apart is that after awhile we get feed up and a better life evolves, don't take it from me but history. The powerful will take advantage of the weak as long as the weak will take it, but all people have there breaking point. The question is what is ours. We have so many resources that no one should go hungry, freeze or pay for knowledge and healthcare. Sources: Class Notes, Years of watching the history channel and voter research. Bush is building more nuclear weapons.
The United States is closer to updating its aging nuclear arsenal. Plans went in to affect that would revamp nuclear facilities in California, New Mexico, Texas and Tennessee along with other plants. On October 19 the Bush administration announced it would enact a plan called Complex 2030 in the efforts to improve or replace the 6,000 currently deployable war heads with 2,200 small missile called Reliable Replacement Warhead" (RRW). This is currently on the drawing board with two sites, Los Alamos and Lawrence Livermore competing for the task to build these missiles. The NNSA plans to finish the designs for the war heads by December. Then the final step would be to pass the design through congress. The bush administration said it would also improve the uses of plutonium in sites that already handle the highly toxic man made element. Also highly enriched uranium from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California will be removed. Due to nuclear testing treaties the US plans to use old test data so not to violate or offend others in the nuclear club. The eight sites will have to under go environmental-impact statements which includes hearings and public comments. The public will also get a chance to review two other plans on the table that were denied. The first is the No Action Alternative, where we do nothing and acknowledge problems as they arise. Then the second is entitled Reduced Operations and Capability-Based Complex Alternative which is favored by anti-nuclear and arm control advocates. This plan in tales that we keep the current level of production of plutonium triggers to 50 a year instead of the 125 a year the current plans estimates it would take to reach a goal of 2200 warheads in the given time period. Nuclear bomb locations
The amount of nuclear warheads in the USA is the smallest it has been since 1958. Yet their are thousands of war heads in the U.S alone. Since the cold war the U.S has consolidated weapons and closed bases over seas. According to Natural Resource Council there are an estimated 10,000 U.S Nuclear weapons around the world. 18 sites in 12 States and 6 European countries. Due to recent information from many sources and technologies advancement from Google Earth and Digital Globe information regarding nuclear weapons is available to the masses. During the past 10 years the U.S has removed nuclear weapons from three sites in California..s, Virginia and South Dakota. Also from 1992 to 1997 the US had consolidated War heads across the globe by 5,760 to 12,500 from 18,290. Over 60 % of what is left is under control of the US air force, stationed in bases around the world. The Air force has 800 bombs and 400 minuteman missiles in North Dakota for its B-52s. Barksdale has 900 in Louisiana and Whiteman in Missouri has 130.The navy is the only other service with nuclear missiles. The navy stores them on each coast. Bangor in Washington has the most at 2,364 or 24% of the stock. The base also contains 9 nuclear subs. On the east coast we have 1,364 missiles located at the Kings Bay Sub base in Georgia. The U.S also stores nuclear weapons that have been dismantled or are in the process of. In Kirtland Air force base in Albuquerque, New Mexico they store the most at 1,900. Kirtland is designed more as a storage facility then a dismantlement plant. For dismantlement they head off to Texas via Interstate 40. Nellis in Nevada has 900 war heads but like Pantex in Texas its main goal is dismantlement. At the peak of the cold war The U.S had Nuclear weapons in 17 countries and in 24 states. The number of weapons totaled about 14,000 in the U.S and 6,000 over seas with an additional 4,000 at sea. When the Soviet Union fell in 1991 the U.S withdrew weapons from South Korea and thousands more from the rest of the outside world by 1993. The Army and the marines.. core have denuclearized and the Navy had dismantled its nuclear capabilities from warships by the mid 90..s. Only about 400 bombs are over seas currently.

why the reps lost
Category: News and Politics
Why did the republicans lose power? Maybe it..s because of the shirking gap between the lower and upper classes. If the middle class is getting smaller the lower class must be getting bigger. Taken in to effect the upper class grows as well, but mostly from family investment. The issues important to the lower classes are not tax cuts or the war. Its minimum wage, health care and education. Issues the democrats pushed almost as hard as the green party. Does this mean people are moving to the left? Aspects of communism arise when the lower class gains voting power. The rise of communism after World War 2 and FDRs new deal brought social service programs to capitalistic societies, evolving into socialism in the rest of the world today. Many contribute communisms down fall to lack of drive from the people to produce or constant war with capitalistic societies. Also information is available to the lower classes due to the growing popularity and affordability of the internet. Informing them on the rest of the industrialized world which was neglected in high school education. The lower classes read about universal health care and guaranteed work and think ..I could use that.., then the upper class think ..I already have that... This I believe is a safe guard that keeps the republicans from exploiting the lower class. The democrats realized that and utilized it.

Saddam found guilty, Is that fair?
Saddam a few minutes ago from the posting of this blog has been sentence to death. I ask you many questions. Was the fire bombing of Japan a war crime? Was Agent Orange a war crime? Was the atomic bomb a war crime? Was the US entry into Iraq under false pretences a war crime? All great powers are guilty of war crimes dose Saddam have to die because he stood up to the U.S and lost?
The only men ever convicted of war crimes are on the losing end of a war. Rather they provoked it or not. Remember that when you vote 3 days from now. Is this man going to die because of the people he killed or shall he die as a Symbol of the U.S war on States that don't adapt to the U.S version of the free market? Ask your self one question. If this man didn't control one of the most resource heavy regions in the world, would the U.S have cared? Would this man die at the end of a rope 30 days from now?

Adam Smith Vs. Karl Marx
Category: News and Politics
In Russia and China communism has failed. Economics is the lifeblood of any society there for even uneducated people will fight for a fair system through an educated leader. You cannot have communism without capitalism first. Communism arises when the working class demands more from the upper classes. When the people do not get what they want, revolutions happen. In the processing paragraphs, I will explain the reasons why communism failed and how that relates to capitalism. In addition, what are the main differences between the two systems and how the modern world has adapted to a comnation of both in today..s free market economies? They are two types of main governments today. ..Socialism is means of production by government and Capitalism is government in means of production... Socialism is a combination of capitalism and communism. In a communistic society, the government determents your needs and supplies you with the resources to live like your peers. In a capitalist society, your resources are dependent on you and your skill level. Each person..s wealth is determined on how much they can profit from the lower classes. An example is how farming firms profit from cheap immigrant..s labor while large fast food chains profit from the farming firms selling the food to the masses as a huge profit. When the middle class becomes so small compared to the lower and upper class the lower class bigger in numbers revolts and extreme change is the result. Whatever the case communism may have failed but the ideas have not.

When did God come before Peace and Man??
Current mood: infuriated

In the name of peace the Jewish people gave the land back to prevent further blood shed. The Arab world leaders have the mentality that the mid east is theirs and will trade their peoples last drop of blood for the last grain of sand. The Jewish people on the other hand are not only a peace-full and intelligent people but whose history affects us all. Must we forget how these people over came genocide and miss-guided hate. I not only support Israel but the war on terrorist and all that fund them. Not because of 9/11 or oil but for the fact these people will always fight among them selfs. In this day of age we need to remember the horrors of a world war including nuclear warfare. Image if these people started to work together. What ever the case, we need to some how both remember and forget the past and then move on. Work together and live the way we want to live not the way our leaders want us to live. Once we all put mankind in front of God, we can all get along. Dont we all believe in the same God, which we were raised by? I am a catholic but dont believe in a God that was written about a 1000s of years ago. Granted there may be a god but if there is can I really comprehend it. So I live the ways I was raised but also keep an open mind on different perspectives. I say I am a catholic since I do the customs of the Catholic Church but I have only been to church once when I was baptized. I have seen it when I open a door for a lady then when your girl must sever you at family functions. Religion is what keeps us together. A half way point or a world wide norm that we can agree on that brings people and the sexes together, then sets them apart in the same breath. The fact is God isnt going to stop world war 3 or save a city from a suitcase nuke. We are at a cross road, Will we work together and move forward and explore space or shall we spend the resources of the plant to fight each other just because we dont believe the same story that was written 3,000 years ago.
