Lisa - A professional on RAC
I write content and have written thounsands of articles on Lawyers, doctors, tires, cars, emails. But then, getting orders has become difficult as people quote the lowest.
Then on analysis, I found the most sought after professional writer is Lisa. And till you work with her, you 'envy' her!
I had the opportunity to work with her and she did a great job in time.
She even promissed to postmpone her Christmas vacation, if my work is not completed. However, she got it completed before christmas.
You can reach her in RAC by searching coders - Lisa_G. Or visit her website copysurgery.com
I wish her all the best in future.

Why the cost of getting a project done at Rentacoder.com is low?
Simple.
1. The coder has no infrastructure costs. Many people work from their offices. Some have their own set up at home with a PC and a broadband Internet connection. Total initial cost of less than USD1000 and monthly charges of USD 10.
2. Many would have got experience in their current jobs and that come very handy for executing projects at RAC.
3. The conversion factor of USD to local currency is attractive.
For example top countries offering maximum coders
India - USD 1 = INR 46
Romania - USD1 = 2,77 RON
Pakistan USD1 = 60.48 PKR
Russia - USD1 = 26.77 RUB
Typically a good programmer in India gets USD 1500 - usd 2000 per month as salary and in RAC, he may be able to get as much working at his convenience. This does not include infrastructure costs.
4. Some new breed of entrepreneurs have come up to leverage RAC and they hire programmers at lower cost and bid in USD, thus making good profits.
However down side of the part is the programmers workign from their office and using that infrastructure and capitalizing on their official work experience. This is not ethical on the part of the programmers to make money personally at the cost of the current employer. I only request them to set up their own infrastructure at home and do it legally.
Anyway, thanks to RAC, there are far too many Indian programmers making good money.

Coders Beware of Buyers at RAC !
Coders beware!
If you think you can not complete 100% , do not take up the project. You may think that it is Ok, if you work sincerely and submit 75-90%. No it is not sufficient. It will all be a waste.
You must submit 100%. Upload 100% and defend that you have done 100%. Else, be prepared to be a loser. Even then you may lose. It is the wisdom of the arbitrator and the mercy of the buyer that gives one some hope.
And be prepared to lose 3.5 percent of your earnings from other projects.
For example:
There is one buyer who asks people to quote for writing content and for compiling some Jokes. He had posted 104 projects. Accepted 90 bids and actually paid 46. And shockingly, he is involved in 102 arbitrations and RAC awarded all in his favor.
Imagine 102 coders getting penalized and paying cancellation charges to RAC due to jsut one Buyer!!
Another surprise is RAC declares this buyer as excellent buyer with 9.75 rating. - probably best for them, not coders. This way we can take money from coders too :-(
Hence, check the buyer credentials and bid.

Rentacoder - Indian coders on a roll !
Category: Web, HTML, Tech
Rentacoder.com is a great place for freelance programmers and companies to benefit mutually. There are many similar sites like this, but the Rentacoder is a bit more user friendly.
Here, any one interested in getting software done or content writing or research or any other work can publish their requirement. The coders across the world 'bid' for the best ('lowest' ?) price. Buyer gets many bids and he/she can release order on some one of his/her choice.
Started by Ian, RAC (as pupularly known) has grown from 140 projects in May 2001 to 14,364 projects in Aug 2006.
As expected the biggest buyers are from USA ( 57followed by UK (12nbsp; Australia & Canada (6ach).
When it comes to Coding/providing services, it is India that tops the list. Indian coders at 19head of Romania (16 followed by USA(14
This is a clear indication of software strength of India.

Searching on the net !
We need some information. First thing tat comes to our mind is google.com
While there were quite a few good search engines way back in early stages of 2000-03 -like altavista.com, lycos.com, excite.com, they all seem to have faded off the net.
Yahoo had their search using some provider called inktomi. Then came google. Yahoo was a good step for google, some thing seperated them.
Now yahoo and google have parted ways. However, you will find the search results similar.
Now coming to the point. Do you get what you want? It is an art.
Tips:
If you are searching for more than one word , use 'firstword secondword' in quotes, to get good results where the search is done for both words together.
Some times you may want to get only 'doc' file. you may enter the search as
myspace business filetype:doc
to get good reports in MS word format.
I consider myself a Human Search Engine and can try to get whatever info you want, instead of you wasting time. let me know if I can be of help to you
See you seen friends!
