Sorry I haven't posted in a while, we've been very busy this month, we got The Wizard World Philly coming up at the end of this month, and we're trying to get our color book printed. It's called Dark Bloods it's our first full color book, we are using new printers and so far I'm almost tearing my hair out because it's taking a lot longer then it should. Hopefully we well have them soon. I've also been lettering two Manga books for DC this few weeks. They are called Tears of a Lamb Vol. 3 and I hate you Vol. 5. you can find them on the CMX/Wildstorm website. I've also colored and lettering a bunch of projects drawn by Mike Lilly but I can't show them yet but I should be able to put them up soon. I'm also working on getting some New art for Ninja Mouse and I've just finish up a pencil page for a new comic book project, if it's approved then I'll be working on penciling another book! WHEW I tell you after the New York comic con I can't believe how much work I've had waiting for me. And I know I still have a coloring project to do before San Diego comic con (not to meanton that this year it's a good chance I'll be going this year, and it's been almost 5 years since I last been there!) and that don't include all of the stuff we have to work on for Section 8! I've been freelancing ever since I've left Marvel in 2004, I would have to say this year has been the busiest and most enjoyable. We have tons of stuff in the works, and some great projects on the horizon, we will be announcing some cool new projects soon and there is even talks about getting toys made of our books!
Here is a poster I did with Mike Lilly. More new artwork soon. Enjoy!

Whew I’ve been away far too long. Sorry about that, the New York Comic con has been taking up all our time. We have some cool stuff plan for the con, so we think it’s worth it. Here are some comic strips to keep you busy while you wait for some new stuff here. Wilson.
INFO From Wikipedia The Great Dictator is a film directed by and starring Charlie Chaplin. First released in October, 1940, it bitterly satirizes Nazism and Adolf Hitler, culminating in an overt political plea to defy fascism. The film is exceptional in its period, in the days prior to American entry into World War II, as the United States was still formally at peace with Nazi Germany. Well before the full extent of the horrors of Nazism had been uncovered, Chaplin's film advanced a stirring, controversial condemnation of Hitler, fascism, and the Nazis, the latter of whom he excoriates in the film as "machine men, with machine minds and machine hearts".[1] The film was Chaplin's first "talkie", and his most commercially successful film.
Got a late start to the day but I was still able to get out another Sketch. This one is part of a series I think I'll call "Lost Heroes," its super heroes we may have not seen in a long time or seen at all. I put spider-man into the image to introduce the hero. Here we have The Vision from the 1940's. Brought to this dimension by a device created by a scientist, and when he would show up he would emerge from smoke. Cool eh? Created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, This green skin hero went by the name of "Aarku, destroyer of evil." Will we see the Vision again? Who knows, I'm guessing the powers that be don't even know that this hero was even around. I'm guessing only a very few editors (maybe two) even knows of this hero. I'm sure, like it has in the pass; he would pop up for one issue and is gone again.
Two Art blogs in a roll, so far so good! Today is a quick 10 min sketch of Starscream from the Transformers. It's model after the G1 for those in the know, which only means it's the one model after the cartoon show from the 80's. The best thing about this Decepticon is that each time Megatron even "seems" to be taken out or hurt, Starscream can't wait to take over. I mean, almost all the time he's screaming; "Megatron is dead now I'm the new leaders of the Decepticons. " This pretty much sums up why they never win, they are to busy trying to take over each other's job. Heheheehe love that show. Well just getting started in the day so hopeful more sketches to come! Oh we updated our website so we have some new artwork and a new "it starts with comics" episode so when you have a chance place go to the site. www.the8spot.com or click on the artwork and it will send you there.
Best. Wilson Ramos Jr. Oh look Megatron stub his toe, now Starscream is the new Leader!
Welcome back! I didn't really go anywhere, I'm at home at my studio working on comics, but I haven't been to my own blog in some time. (Sorry) I've been working on some comic projects, mostly lettering Manga for CMX, if you haven't try those out please do. Some of the titles I've done are "Go Go Heaven," "Empty Empire," "Palette of 12 " and "Tears of a Lamb." As for coloring I haven't done anything note worthy in a while. As for Section 8 Stuff, we're really rolling now; most of our titles are almost done. Most to all of them are penciled, half are about inked and colored and a few just needs to be lettered. So I'm very excited that they are so close to being done. And we have been getting some great feed back on our comic strip. Keep those feed backs coming. Well I'm trying to get back to doing the daily sketch hopefully I can keep it up, I may not post the sketches everyday but I'll post them all as I go along. One of the other problems with the daily sketch is what to draw. Today I decided to Draw a sketch of a hero I did the coloring for last year. It's Zoom Suit, you may have seen some samples of my coloring on both my website www.the8spot.com or on my comicspace page www.comicspace.com/ramoskaiju. It was fun to draw Zoom since I haven't try to draw him since last summer, it was a fast sketch took about 20 mins to draw both the head of Zoom and Miles the kid who puts on the Suit in the comic. Funny thing as I was drawing it, at 6:45 am, a car outside ran into the light pole. Not as noisy as you would think I'm guessing he wasn't going that fast. As I looked out someone else was driving by and helped the guy out. There was a lot of smoke but the driver, who was shaken, seems to be ok. Medical help came pretty fast so it looks like he'll be ok. Well that's it for now; I hope to see you soon with another sketch up here, any suggestions? Please let me know.
