I've noticed that when I actually READ a lot of the songs I like, mostly the old ones, there is a lot of meaning and message that I've missed. Sounds like Freddy wrote a song about a rich girl (prostitute!) with a big appetite for sex. And she's good. lol

I'm a little upset to know of the elimination of women-only sports. I suppose it must be done to change historical stigma of women and equalize the playing field a little bit, but the disappointment is real.
Especially since I just discovered some amazing sychronized swimmers from Russia earlier week. Watching the Anastasias made me really feel like I was at a very rhythmatic, strenuous, aquatic ballet. Their teamwork was absolutely brilliant, the showmanship and the presicion of their movements, all while giving the audience grace! None of the men's sports deal with grace and poise, and to me, all that power and force with grace adds an inner strength that cannot compare. I think that is worthy of Olympic competition! If not here, where??
It's not like a true ballet where they'll have a cultural following and you can buy tickets at your local Lincoln Center-like local pool. To me, it's as sport-related as ice skating....
If sychronized swimming and rhythmic gymnastics aren't a sport, then how is diving more of a sport? They also have sychronized diving I've been told. They measure on form, style, and finish too, no?
Welcome, women's wrestling and boxing to Olympic 2012. Screaming grunting, sometimes bloody fun. Ouai. I guess sport and beauty is just not popular.

They don't have a Blog category titled "douche nozzles" so I had to leave it blank.. You don't have to be dark-skinned not to pass this so-called pool test. There are a lot of people all shades that don't pass the pool test. Ugly people in general get a failing grade every time. Everyone's entitled to their preferences!
I personally like to perform the Shelf test. Excuse me Yung Berg can you get the big jar of pickles from the top of the fridge for me? No? Your tiny hands can't hold the jar? Get the hell outta my house. You shouldn't have ate so much corner-store meals growing up. You'd be taller by now.

Everyone knows I don't really care for sports
And for a long time I was hoping my future man would not care that much for sports either, would love all the culti things i enjoy but the problem is that when you're dating and you say what you like and don't like, men totally follow your lead and say things you like to hear. For as long as it takes. You all do it!! It's not right but it's ok.
Anyway I have to watch my fair share of sports programs these days. I wouldn't say it's unbearable. It's hard to keep my full attention at all times to be honest. But I do notice a good looking man (No disrespect to my honey, i love u!!).

Terry Riner is the Judo champion of the world. Yes the World *Wonders if Judo has gold-diggers and baller alerts too*. Terry Riner is 19 years old so I really shouldn't be saying he's fine but here I am (no disrespect!) sharing with friends and the curious. He's about 285lbs but in the good way (no titties).
He is currently running for the Olympic games in Beijing

It's a really beautiful and peaceful place. I am a city girl to the core, however I am always open to new experiences. There is so much peace hiding in the mountains. Now I don't know about living there everyday, but a quick get away is now a must-do in my book. If you are a deep-thinker or need to channel your thoughts, this is one of the places to do it. If you don't like what you think about, you can also do some high action sport like rowing, kayaking, parasailing or stay at a farm where they make you work, lol. Nothing breaks a thought pattern like seeing a real cow look back at you!

I don't know anything about Aurra. I know so little about music from this era. I was barely talking when all that was hot and as a girl I NEVER went out if they were spinning this on purpose, lol. Aurra falls under my personal genre "Music Daddy likes." or "Daddy's family reunion /BBQ music".
Truthfully the song "Forever" is quite lovely and could be played today if it hasn't been jacked a few times already. And I've heard "Keep Doin' it" and "Party Time many times from various DJs, not knowing who the artist was and not even being curious.

I used to love Sesame Street, so much so that I used to know the scripts line by line. Truth be told I continued to watch the show much longer than socially acceptable by my peers. LOL. Hey - my brother was younger and I'd put it on for HIM....honest. We have so many memories of watching that show together and he used to get on me on how I love and get so drawn in by all things puppet.
But why did I JUST come across Classic Sesame clips on Youtube TODAY?? I mean they've probably been there for ages....Wow, what a flashback. All the memories are still there and as they resurfaced, the pleasurable feelings from watching the show, the nice memories of those times, and how somewhat comfortable things were back then.
The clips/skits were old and dated and even before MY time (sesame has been on way before i was an embryo) so I get it, they had to re-vamp. But I hated the change in the 90's. It totally irritated me because it seemed so drastic. Nothing was familiar or even a nod to what once was. By that time my brother and sister watched for a year or so more before we all moved on to other entertaining programs (from what I recall).
So come play the YO REMEMBER THIS game with me for a moment.
I loved this little guy's voice and the intro. Especially that little cabinet he goes into at the end. I so wanted one in my house!
