Category: News and Politics

Peter Joseph; "Zeitgeist Addendum" Launches New Protest Site

this is the movie:
..

Click Here For Full Screen Options In New Window

This movie is a life changing view. Not to over-hype, it's still entertaining and interesting.... but if you stop and really think about what the 2nd half suggests... some big things we all argue over won't matter...

Some things that won't matter anymore:

Third parties... any parties
Anarchy
Communism, Spcialism, Fascism... Progressivism... Libertarianism. (all the isms including...)
Terrorism
Zionism
Muslims
Scientologists
Mormons
Jesus
Krishna
Allah
Thor
Atheists
The Gold Standard
The Value of Currencies
The Fed
Taxes

and yes, even big corporations.

None of these things will matter after you "get" the message of this movie.

...

There's more... there is also today a website where we can join together to take the first steps on this very long and worthwhile journey.

See what you think:

The Zeitgeist Activism Site (opens in new window)

Give it a look... then let's discuss it below... I'll start with a letter I just got about it.

Can you really believe in god yet reject all religion?

Can you really believe in god yet reject all religion?

(Answered at the end)

Here's how it went down...I posted this

wrote this...

The principles are clear... If you argue for a god but agree that "he" cannot be proven physically... as matter or energy... then your god does not meet simple criterion for physical existence itself.

If your god cannot be proven with reason... it is by definition an unreasonable claim that your god exists.

go ahead and claim god exists but not in this universe... and not measurably by physical laws...

Fine he exists in the alternate universe... created in your brain.

...

We can't afford religion in this world anymore.

Join we who are letting go of bronze age superstition.

Claim your rational mind, and never let anyone (preachers and opportunists with bibles) take it from you ever again. Experience LIBERTY of the MIND.

- Corp

And then had this conversation with a reader of mine:

I agree totally with religion being a fraudulent tool of the elite to control the masses. I'm not looking for an argument here, but why the radical denial of a God?

As stated, the video I posted was making the case that the existence of a creator god as advertised in bronze age mythology was highly unlikely.

Intelligent design is all around you, do you deny that?

Does the video? I guess... can I deny that what is all around me is the work of an intelligent single being? EASILY. There is absolutely no evidence of that.

Not to say that all of the entirety of the universe and matter might not be intelligent and conscious... there is evidence of that... well... the beginnings of it... science is looking for a "unified field theory" - I think they will find it.... and that would be a millimeter away from consciousness.

But saying that all of matter and energy and the way they form is the result of a creator similar to us, is ... exactly the same as saying the sun moves in the sky.

It appears that way to our limited senses. As soon as you amplify our senses with telescopes and rockets...we see clearly that the sun is (relatively) stationary and the earth both rotates and also orbits that sun.

But it was proven hundreds and hundreds of years before the first space shot... and for all that time there were many who did not believe in the central sun.

To this day, there are many who don't believe it. They think the SUN MOVES and we are stationary. There are also many who believe that the world is not a globe.

These people only have their SENSES to trust. They have no education, no access to the greater sciences and observations using technology.

So too is the notion that because things are varied and complex, "someone must have designed" them.

Evidence contradicts that under-educated point of view...

Just as I don't blame equatorial tribes for still believing that the earth is flat, I don't blame people from education-starved nations like ours from seeing "a creator" in the existence of a banana.

But yellow sweet bananas were actually carefully bread from green plantains hundreds of years ago by man.

and corn was just carefully bred tall grass... bred by natives of the North and Central Americas.

The grass itself a variant of early photosynthetic life...

Life began on this particular ball of lava about 4 billion years ago. There were either visiting living materials brought in from a comet or space dibris... or it was already here in the form of acids.

Life formed and continued to grow more complex.

4 billion years is plenty of time for all the diversity we see today... in fact there would be much more had there not been so many events that extinguished life over and over in Earth's history.

I can deal with a debate about whom or what you say God is but to deny intelligent design is not intelligent? I'm a very open minded person and I'm NOT dogmatic about most of my believes.

Dogma can be defined as "the established belief or doctrine held by a religion, ideology or any kind of organization, thought to be authoritative and not to be disputed, doubted or diverged from."

Intelligent design is a form of creationism, which by definition is dogmatic. Science says "please prove me wrong and improve human understanding"... dogma says "to deny intelligent design is not intelligent"

If you were truly not dogmatic you would welcome that which further reveals the complex answers to life's questions and would never "already know" anything.

We are human of course and I too am guilty... I "already know" that Jesus was not actually magic... for instance so ... I understand... but still we should attempt to be evidence-based and not belief-based.

I know there is a God, not in the alternate universe in my mind but here and now.

No. You BELIEVE that there is a god. Knowing means being able to demonstrate it in the natural world which no serious theologian ever claims... just Kirk Cameron.

The theory that everything is inside and part of God could give proof to God's physical existence.

Again I don't deny the plausibility of that. It is a very reasonable possibility that all of existence is a form of higher intelligence. I eagerly await more evidence on that. But until I see it... I will not "believe" anything.

Belief is human frailty and how we are most vulnerable to extinction.

All belief should be held in check.

Do you think the big bang explains everything? That is like saying if I blow up a junk yard you would get a working computer out of the explosion. Come on now? You can't believe that?!

When you study that stuff in school... they make it clear then that the Big Bang Theory does not explain the origins of life on earth.

That is another class(biology)and a subject in that class called biogenesis / abiogenesis

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spontaneous_generationSpontaneous_generation

The big bang theory only tells us where the ATOMS that make up all living and non living things originated in *this* dimension and *this* universe.

There are many good theories of other dimensions and other universes.

All the questions of those still stand much examination.

I do like most of your bulletins but the constant denial of God, I don't get? I do however get the denial of ORGANIZED religion.

First of all... I didn't deny god in that post the movie denied the PHYSICAL or natural existence of a super natural god of mythology (bible etc.).

And that shouldn't set off your alarms. All it says is "the supernatural leaves no evidence in nature."

Obviously.

It says that if there is a supernatural god it cannot be proven in nature and ... then I add ... "don't waste your time"...

;-)

that might set you off....

but not if you are not dogmatic it won't.

But I don't say "I KNOW CATEGORICALLY THERE IS NO INTELLIGENT OMNIVERSE" ... I have no idea.

I don't know about an afterlife.... no clue.

I just know no one else does either... because

BELIEFS ARE NOT KNOWLEDGE!

There tends to be two kinds of people in the world (actually three but the third is rare) conformist and rebels. Conformist are the robots that you and I agree are sheep and need to wake up to reality. They will blindly follow anyone in authority. The rebels see the hypocrisy of the authority and want to throw out everything. Their parents divorced so marriage sucks, religious hypocrites so God sucks, criminals in government so All government and laws suck.

[ What's the third kind?!]

There is a MIDDLE ground here. There is a time to follow orders and say yes sir and there is a time to say wait a minute and question authority. Wisdom is knowing when.

Hmmm.

My long belabored point here is don't throw away everything good (like faith and God) because the powers that be are hypocrites.

Believe me they love both rebels and conformist!!!

They however HATE those who TRULY think for THEMSELVES.

I say all this with the utmost respect. Peace

Hey, thanks for reading my posts and stuff... and the thoughtful letter... here is my response to your final statement...

1. God and Faith are not good, they are destructive to human society. God (from scriture) is a myth... if you believed in Santa as an adult and made life or death decisions based on the existence of Santa you would be up a creek.

That is what apparently happens sometimes in the leadership of nations. No one in our nation has ever believed in the god of the bible and run this nation. I can't prove that... but it seems very evident. The leaders of our super power are only interested in something very material... and use the superstitious subset of our population to prop up their power.

Faith... is what allows them to do that.

God is a construct by humans for a quick answer when the persons are young, or uneducated.

God is not something that can be demonstrated at all the way we can demonstrate viruses or supernovas.

God is a "short cut concept" and we are all ready to outgrow that... So take off the training wheels of existence and be free.

2. The "Powers That Be" are us. They are the bullies and whiners back in Kindegarten.... they grew up and had a chip on their shoulder or a hunger for dominance and control... and they grew up greedy.

They don't read much, they don't laugh at anything but violence and fart jokes. Many come from dynastic wealth and are brainwashed as children to think themselves royalty.

The truth is that we are ultimately responsible for "the powers that be" who are good or harmful depending on how active and awake we are... and also how much we RESIST BELIEF (like tv liars... ads, news, religion, politics) for belief makes us controllable.

Consider my concept of demanding that life and your fellow classmates in this nation of ours appeal to you on provable, natural world, transparent grounds - and let them know that all myths, supernatural stories and hidden meetings and secret processes are in contradiction to your freedom and the public ruling their own REPUBLIC.

Someday we won't need most laws, we won't need most indicators of value like money or "bling" ... but we can only get there if we stop believing with faith instead of knowing with evidence.

Until we can let go of the security blanket of bronze age sky daddy mythology we cannot move forward... and that goes for every single human on this planet.

3. I return deep and humble respect my friend.

The original post was titled:

"God Does Not Physically Exist"

Q: Can you really believe in god and yet reject all religion?

A: That all depends of how unscientific/mythological your definition of the catch-all word "god" is. And knowing and observing most people, ... no.

An Open Letter To The Banking Crapsters - It’s Equity Not Liquidity.
Category: News and Politics

Wall Street Doesn't Need Our Tax Dollars, They Need Surgery For Bad Paper

An Open Letter To The Banking Outlaws Who Deregulated Our System

We're not stupid.

It's your myth that the problem is liquidity... but there is plenty of cash being dumped into the banks every night. We can see that the problem is that supposed assets are actually without (sufficient) value as they were bundled with HIDDEN toxic debt and inflated... now the RATIO of

ASSETS to their EQUITY VALUE is way the F**k out of whack.

It doesn't matter how much cash you ask us to throw at a bank... if it's bricks, it's foundation is made out of something hollow, that is more liability than asset, it cannot function. You hollowed out the value of these institutions to take away and stuff into your Cayman Island and Swiss Bank accounts.

Great Job.

So unfortunately *we the people* now do have to do something for...um... ABOUT... the frikkin' banks... but they don't need CASH. They need value-surgery.

They need the "value-erasers" "hidden" in the bundles of debts to be taken off their hands.

Thanks for creating the time bombs Mr. Paulson. Thanks to you too Mr. Gramm for shutting down the rules that would have stopped this hiding of bad loans.

Really cute actually, when mortgage requirements were lessened, your group took advantage of it... to hide it rather than regulate... that way you could print money for yourself and leave the economy to "absorb" it.

( I notice you blame Clinton for "lending to blacks"... you people are disgusting... "minorities" didn't create fake value "instruments" out of unregulated loans...)

Steal much?

Well... we can't absorb it... that didn't work - you numb-nuts.

But the answer is simple.... and cheap.

You're not going to like it.

We can simply pay judges to go through your banks, fire you, break up the assets from the liabilities... and sell what has equity.

We can reorganize all the loans to identify banks that can't stand up to their toxic "assets"... let them go bankrupt & and be broken up and have their GOOD assets put on auction.

The banks left standing will be free of most of the crap-paper.

They will be made healthier and your games will kill off the ones that didn't watch the value of their "investments".

The bad part of that of course is that banks will have consolidated.... into what? 5 banks?

But we won't let you have those.

We'll regulate the HELL out of who can run these banks and what they can take.

You won't like it, you are used to free access to the drugs.

(click for A Great Article Proving You Bank-holes are Drug Addicts)

The medicine cabinet has a padlock on it now... please leave.

This blog is my simple explanation of something my readers can hear from a real expert:

Here is the PODCAST PAGE for the RON REAGAN (Junior) show.

http://www.am1090seattle.com/pages/3058096.php?

my readers can go there... click on 9-30-08

the whole show is EXCELLENT... 60 min.

But the 2nd guest explains it SO CLEARLY.

Wall Street Does Not Need Cash! Bankruptcy judges can separate what is valuable from the junk, and then we can add a quarter percent "trading tax" to investment banks... and you can pay your for own party.... and clean up your own puke.

Great article on a trading-tax

Once we understand the game, we can organize against you and put you addicts in a cage... where you can't steal our tax dollars.

Marcy Kaptur: Wall Street Reckoning; Not Bail-Out
Category: News and Politics

Ladies and gentlemen, Ohio Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur hates this bailout... and she kicks ass.

Does She Not Rock? That's my kind of representative.

Call your representative today... and say no to the criminal bank lobby.

[ Oh by the way... if we end the Iraq War we save $10 Billion per month... think we can use that? ]

"It's a coup attempt!" by Michael Moore

http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/message/index.php

Friends,

Let me cut to the chase. The biggest robbery in the history of this country is taking place as you read this. Though no guns are being used, 300 million hostages are being taken. Make no mistake about it: After stealing a half trillion dollars to line the pockets of their war-profiteering backers for the past five years, after lining the pockets of their fellow oilmen to the tune of over a hundred billion dollars in just the last two years, Bush and his cronies -- who must soon vacate the White House -- are looting the U.S. Treasury of every dollar they can grab. They are swiping as much of the silverware as they can on their way out the door.

No matter what they say, no matter how many scare words they use, they are up to their old tricks of creating fear and confusion in order to make and keep themselves and the upper one percent filthy rich.
Just read the first four paragraphs of the lead story in last Monday's New York Times and you can see what the real deal is:

"Even as policy makers worked on details of a $700 billion bailout of the financial industry, Wall Street began looking for ways to profit from it.

"Financial firms were lobbying to have all manner of troubled investments covered, not just those related to mortgages.

"At the same time, investment firms were jockeying to oversee all the assets that Treasury plans to take off the books of financial institutions, a role that could earn them hundreds of millions of dollars a year in fees.

"Nobody wants to be left out of Treasury's proposal to buy up bad assets of financial institutions.
"

Unbelievable. Wall Street and its backers created this mess and now they are going to clean up like bandits. Even Rudy Giuliani is lobbying for his firm to be hired (and paid) to "consult" in the bailout.

The problem is, nobody truly knows what this "collapse" is all about. Even Treasury Secretary Paulson admitted he doesn't know the exact amount that is needed (he just picked the $700 billion number out of his head!). The head of the congressional budget office said he can't figure it out nor can he explain it to anyone.

And yet, they are screeching about how the end is near! Panic! Recession! The Great Depression! Y2K! Bird flu! Killer bees! We must pass the bailout bill today!! The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

Falling for whom? NOTHING in this "bailout" package will lower the price of the gas you have to put in your car to get to work. NOTHING in this bill will protect you from losing your home. NOTHING in this bill will give you health insurance.

Health insurance? Mike, why are you bringing this up? What's this got to do with the Wall Street collapse?

It has everything to do with it. This so-called "collapse" was triggered by the massive defaulting and foreclosures going on with people's home mortgages. Do you know why so many Americans are losing their homes? To hear the Republicans describe it, it's because too many working class idiots were given mortgages that they really couldn't afford. Here's the truth: The number one cause of people declaring bankruptcy is because of medical bills. Let me state this simply: If we had had universal health coverage, this mortgage "crisis" may never have happened.

This bailout's mission is to protect the obscene amount of wealth that has been accumulated in the last eight years. It's to protect the top shareholders who own and control corporate America. It's to make sure their yachts and mansions and "way of life" go uninterrupted while the rest of America suffers and struggles to pay the bills. Let the rich suffer for once. Let them pay for the bailout. We are spending 400 million dollars a day on the war in Iraq.
Let them end the war immediately and save us all another half-trillion dollars!

I have to stop writing this and you have to stop reading it. They are staging a financial coup this morning in our country. They are hoping Congress will act fast before they stop to think, before we have a chance to stop them ourselves.
So stop reading this and do something -- NOW! Here's what you can do immediately:

1. Call or e-mail Senator Obama. Tell him he does not need to be sitting there trying to help prop up Bush and Cheney and the mess they've made. Tell him we know he has the smarts to slow this thing down and figure out what's the best route to take. Tell him the rich have to pay for whatever help is offered. Use the leverage we have now to insist on a moratorium on home foreclosures, to insist on a move to universal health coverage, and tell him that we the people need to be in charge of the economic decisions that affect our lives, not the barons of Wall Street.

2. Take to the streets. Participate in one of the hundreds of quickly-called demonstrations that are taking place all over the country (especially those near Wall Street and DC).

3. Call your Representative in Congress and your Senators. (click here to find their phone numbers). Tell them what you told Senator Obama.

When you screw up in life, there is hell to pay. Each and every one of you reading this knows that basic lesson and has paid the consequences of your actions at some point. In this great democracy, we cannot let there be one set of rules for the vast majority of hard-working citizens, and another set of rules for the elite, who, when they screw up, are handed one more gift on a silver platter.
No more! Not again!

Yours,
Michael Moore
MMFlint@aol.com
MichaelMoore. com

P.S. Having read further the details of this bailout bill, you need to know you are being lied to. They talk about how they will prevent golden parachutes. It says NOTHING about what these executives and fat cats will make in SALARY. According to Rep. Brad Sherman of California, these top managers will continue to receive million-dollar-a-month paychecks under this new bill. There is no direct ownership given to the American people for the money being handed over. Foreign banks and investors will be allowed to receive billion-dollar handouts. A large chunk of this $700 billion is going to be given directly to Chinese and Middle Eastern banks. There is NO guarantee of ever seeing that money again.

P.P.S. From talking to people I know in DC, they say the reason so many Dems are behind this is because Wall Street this weekend put a gun to their heads and said either turn over the $700 billion or the first thing we'll start blowing up are the pension funds and 401(k)s of your middle class constituents. The Dems are scared they may make good on their threat. But this is not the time to back down or act like the typical Democrat we have witnessed for the last eight years. The Dems handed a stolen election over to Bush. The Dems gave Bush the votes he needed to invade a sovereign country. Once they took over Congress in 2007, they refused to pull the plug on the war. And now they have been cowered into being accomplices in the crime of the century. You have to call them now and say "NO!" If we let them do this, just imagine how hard it will be to get anything good done when President Obama is in the White House. THESE DEMOCRATS ARE ONLY AS STRONG AS THE BACKBONE WE GIVE THEM. CALL CONGRESS NOW.

No bailout for the people...

For Ron Paul, Bob Barr, Chuck Baldwin Supporters Only
Category: News and Politics

For those voting for Paul, Barr or Baldwin in Nov, why are you so committed to vote for your candidate and so willing to risk a McCain win?

Hello fellow patriots.

As you may know I am not a libertarian in the way you are.  I hold that our natural rights extend beyond the pursuit of property. We can pursue happiness in the middle class, and immigrants & artists can even be finding happiness in the lower economic class.

I think the government exists to protect my right to pursue happiness at any economic level.

I don't see the UN as anything more than a place for diplomacy.

I am not so sure that guns will be that effective against tyranny unless you first disarm our feds of their TANKS and HIGH TECH stuff.  I also think that some automatic gun owners, when suffering from paranoia, are not what the founders had in mind. They are the opposite of well regulated.  I have the natural right not to be killed by you in a crowded city.  I have the right not to carry an gun and give my peace officers that duty so I can go about pursuing happiness.

I see my natural rights extending beyond Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of my happiness and also that clean water and air are my birth right.  A public commons is also my birthright.. not everything should be private and go to the richest or strongest.  I also see basic health care and it's technology as a fundamental human right, like the right to a basic sound education.

I think "giving the task of health care for the poor to the churches" is ludicrous.

I think giving away our national parks to the rich private investor borders on a criminal suggestion.

I think social safety nets like Social Security are why we enjoy reasonably good lives with computers and decent food to eat.

You see where I am going.  I see that a balance between public and private is the American way.

But like you, I am worried about the constitution and about the erosion of our founders' dreams.

But unlike some of you, I am not pinning any hopes on leaders or politicians to be anything other than sluggish semi reachable monkeys who might do some of what we make them... or get out of our way while we do it. ourselves.

It seems clear to me that McCain is an enemy of the constitution and that Obama is (basically) not.  He may not be a staunch defender (yet) but he doesn't attack it like McCain does.

It has come to my attention that there are people who know that Corporate McCain is a threat to our nation but can't bring themselves to vote for his rival.

They are in a state where because he is not different "ENOUGH" from John McCain... whatever differences he has are erased and he gets called "the same thing"....

It is then that these patriotic Americans make what I think is a big mistake... they plan to vote for Bob Barr or Chuck Baldwin.

Now let make make this clear... this is AMERICA and you are free to do whatever you want as long as you don't trespass upon your neighbor... and I would never say otherwise.

But I really don't understand why you would vote for these small fry candidates and let McCain get closer to continuing and expanding the fascism and tyranny of the executive branch.

I know some of you pretty well... and I know you love your country, so you must have some POSITIVE REASONS to vote for these guys?

My friends say you only have negatives.

You guys only vote against stuff... but not for anything.

What are you *for?*

You are against the New World Order but you don't describe how a Baldwin presidency would give us an Old World Order... and what that would look like.

You are against the UN, but for reasons that are not proven, secret plans that you merely believe are being brought forth soon.  What are you for when it comes to diplomacy?

Ending income tax (unconstitutional tax on labor), how will we raise taxes or revenue to keep the basic services going and what will they get us? The constitution spells out clearly that the congress shall raise taxes... how will they do this if your favorite president, congress and judiciary were in place?

What will we do about health care?

Do you really believe that the FREE MARKET will make this nation anything but an incredibly dangerous shark tank of economic predators?

How will it look when it goes your way?

Tell me:

1. are you voting for Barr, Baldwin or Ron Paul in Nov?

2. If that lets McCain win, will you still be ok with your vote? Why?

3. What will America be like if someone you voted for became president?

...
ground rules:

*Say something positive and affirmative, what do you want?... If you just complain about what you hate and post doom and gloom I might delete it.

* No racism, no fighting with others... you can berate me all you want.  Start posting all that anti-zionist stuff... and I am gonna see you as a scapegoater and a bully.  I'm not cool with that.

* I will delete all comments that are not from RON PAUL, BOB BARR or CHUCK BALDWIN supporters... this is their forum... we can learn by reading their views. ... Posters, you are free to tell your truth and not get pushed around.  I really want to understand your point of view!

* One link per post.  a comment full of links to long movies doesn't help us understand your point of view... we can't watch them all.  I want to know your take and hear your words.

* Call me a sheep or an "eater" or other such ignorance about me... and I delete it.  Please assume that I am giving you this forum so we can learn something you see that we have yet to see.

*Teach, instruct, enlighten... but don't bully or harrass.  I hate bullies. This time it's not a debate...You are free to explain without challenge.  I am going to shut up and learn from you.

* Try to post facts when you can... and be intellectually honest when your assertions are not proven yet or ... are something you don't really know or sure... you just believe it. Try to explain and source your facts and separate your suspicions and fears.

* Bottom Line Tell Me Why It's ok to RISK a MCCAIN presidency, foreign policy, supreme court justices, and expanded corporatism for a Paul, Barr or Baldwin vote this November?

I am ready to learn something new. Post away! You have the floor!

McCain Agrees To Bringing Back The Draft

Are you 18-40 years old?

Are you ready to be drafted into the military and fight in the mideast for "American Interests" like pipelines and Exxon's contracts?

McCain appears to be considering drafting us.

"I don't disagree with anything you say."

We have so much to do to prepare for this. There is so much rape in the military right now. 1 of 3 women are raped. Most more than once. Soldiers are being shocked and killed in KBR built showers. We need more equipment. The body armor is still insufficient. The private military forces like Blackwater are trying to command our US Military... We need more troops of every type plus a lot more trained officers. We need so much to upgrade our tired and worn military. We have to do something about all the moldy understaffed overcrowded hospitals for wounded soldiers. They are shameful. We would need to raise taxes to pay for this.

Believe it or not I have one reason for supporting the new draft.

PROTESTS WILL BE BI-PARTISAN and INTENSE.

And call me crazy but ... I don't like wars declared by the executive branch that benefit big business.

We try to explain nicely that 3rd parties only have power below the federal level (w/ a few exceptions) but they just don't understand that this isn't a direct democracy and they can't have whatever they want this year.

"Wah! wahhhh! No' lesser of 2 evils' - wahhh!"

Maybe you have these problem friends too?

Some of the really mentally disturbed folks left on my friends' list get really mad at me if I post something positive about Senator Barack Obama.

I am "allowed" to go negative on McCain all day, but 'science-forbid' I go "positive" on the first American of African descent who came from nothing to go to an IVY LEAGUE school and get into serious public service... who is a very skilled politician....and might actually listen to the people at least some.

Good enough for me right now...

But that's not good enough for these sun-deprived-clammy-skinned-screen-staring fear monkeys.

They can't see choosing the better of two politicians. They mischaracterize politicians as "evils" that they won't pick the "lesser of" - But politicians have always been a massive compromise.  All electoral politics is compromise. But toddlers hate compromise.

So to them if a politician is in anyway mainstream, well, he is EVIL!!!

hahahahaha.

Like an indie band that has a hit record... now they suck.

If Kucinich or Ron Paul went mainstream they'd suddenly hate them too.

Ron Paul takes money from interests but they don't want to think about that. He also denies EVOLUTION in public. WTF? My smart friends make excuses... I'm just saying he's not perfect.

Dennis isn't perfect either. UFOs & hair so bad that it scares you when he smiles. lol.
But as non-corporate as these two guys maybe to us... they are not on the ballot in all 50 states and they are not running for president anymore.

Nader is great but in terms of his ability to win or even create consensus with those in power, severely flawed. He'd make a better dictator than president.  Just give the country to Ralph for two years let him fix it and hand it over to a president again.

No he can't help us in '08 with anything but his words & and example.

No you have to pick from what you actually have at this point.

And hey...you know what?

These *special* friends can scream at me for being positive about the better of two politicians all day... but they can't answer one simple question:

* Who else can win the white house and govern in '08?

* Is there someone on the ballot in all 50 states who can win?

*Is there someone on the ballot in all 50 states who can caucus and govern?

*Please write me or comment and let me know.

....

I'm waiting.

....

But they can't because there is no one.

The grassroots creates the possibility for president 20 years later.

Guess who was really garnering the grassroots activism 20 years ago in 1988?

JESSE JACKSON

GET IT?

.....

They need to shut the f%ck up and instead of yelling at me, do their grassroots organizing now so we can have someone LIKE Dennis Kucinich in 2028.

[ **And the kids then will be screaming how main stream that guy is too.**

But we'll love him... ** ]

That's what I am doing, I am creating a future president like the guys we like today. I am doing a lot of grassroots work. Are they?

And I am voting for the better of the two choices I have today.

That's how it works.
Who will they vote for?
Will they vote?

It's clear that these emotional toddlers cannot think because they are so screwed up by AMBIEN and NWO videos.

Get out your foil Bart!
Ohhhh... the eye on the pyramid...oooh... the Council on FOOOORRREIGGNNN RELATIONNNNNSSSSSsss ooooh.

....

Hahahahah

but we know better don't we friends?

...

* GREEN NEW DEAL IN '09.
* Bring the JOBS BACK
* Bring the UNIONS FORWARD.
* SHUT DOWN THE DHS
* Get war profits back from the theives.

**Get a veto proof / Filibuster proof majority in congress.**

Get things moving and do our grassroots organizing.

An organized people are a free people.

If we do grassroots work today than someday we get:

a Cynthia McKinney:

A Dennis Kucinich:

A Ralph Nader
(but one who can cooperate and negotiate with the rest of government):

A Libertarian Who Loves The Constitution but maybe does believe in Evolution:
Dr. Paul has inspired some of my smartest and most patriotic friends to get out there and fight for our Republic!

A Mike Gravel:

A Jesse Ventura:

Or someone even more amazing than we have imagined!  hmmm:

Toddlers hate the word "someday" but it's reality isn't it friends?

We'll get our dream candidate in 2028 and the kids will be all angry about him or her... oh well.

p.s. I had to repost this comment from TSAN below:

Right on CORP. I guess this one can be considered another case of faith gone wrong. "I have faith that Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich are the ONLY candidates who will truly fight for change, even if they're not technically candidates in all 50 states anymore." "I will never vote for Barack Obama because I know (read: have a strong belief, faith, whatever) that he's definitely an evil and twisted CFR, NWO puppet."

Being realistic about the voting process seems to have taken a back-seat in this election... well, more so than previous elections at least. I don't necessarily like having to work in the confines of the system to get it changed, but you know what? Sometimes that's the only choice we have.

Voting for someone, no matter how idealistic they are, that doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning an election in order to make a statement is somewhat admirable but extremely foolish.

The whole point of this blog, or at least what I interpreted, is that we have to do everything in our power now after this coming election to make the proper changes necessary to make sure that there won't be any more "lesser of two evils" elections.

Sure, since most of us didn't support either candidate from the beginning, it definitely sucks to have to swallow your pride and vote like this, but it's time to quit bitching and do something about it.

Start locally, most of the rational people who write these blogs and/or comment on them have all not only stated that starting locally is the way to go, but have seen proven results. Wisely, do the 3rd party voting in municipal, county and state elections.

Urge people in other area's to do the same. Think about it, the more we can ween ourselves off of the "column A or column B" mentality in the smaller elections over the upcoming years, the easier it will be to eventually work our way toward a truly progressive election on the national level.

It's still not going to be easy and it certainly isn't going to happen overnight, but when a goal like this is set, is it ever easy to achieve? No, but it needs to be done and it needs to start somewhere, the results will be well worth the effort.

Yes, I would love to see great changes happen right now, we all would, but we all have to consider that it's not just for us, it's for the coming generations. Maybe it won't happen in the next 4 to 8 years (not like it matters since the world's gonna end in 2012 anyway :P j/k), but it's not always about getting what we want right away, but about the responsibility we have as voting citizens now to make sure that our children and our children's children will never have to vote for the lesser of two evils.

Have Faith & Belief Become Toxic?
Category: Religion and Philosophy

Have Religious Faith & Belief In The Supernatural Become Toxic To Mankind?

Faith and belief in early explanations of existence, and man's role in the universe were all we had. They were our first "sciences". But when the scientific method was developed, they became quaint, obsolete and unnecessary to explain the world around us. They then became a method of coping with mystery and the unknown.

Faith in dogmatic religion still remains to this day an excellent form of controlling and misinforming the masses by the powerful, and since the 80s but more significantly in the last 8 years, the social and business elites of our country have cynically used the simple minds that cling to faith for their political and big business goals.

I post two videos for your consideration. The first is a remedy for those who would use the crutch of faith to take advantage of weak minds. The second is a bit of a warning. If we don't stand up for reason and evidence people can merely assert things that human brains "tend to want to believe" and create a toxic environment for freedom and liberty to try and survive.

It is time to stop giving in to the alcoholism of magical thinking and grow up ... so that we can join together to defend the constitution and our beloved liberty from those who would seek to divide, conquer and make a worldwide new form of dominating power; that of big-business & the conquering hegemony of McCulture.

1. Disinfecting the toxic disinformation that a faith-addled mind feels justified in telling? Bring the facts and refute the lies:

(This is from a newly begun series called "Hovindism")

2. Warning: If we don't strengthen our minds to resisted any outrageous claims without citation and evidence... we get this madness:

Elite Deep Underground Military Bases

This sorry film is a great example of what happens when your mind is weak from "faith" and "belief"... and susceptible to the ramblings and fears of someone who seems to be suffering from paranoid schizophrenia.

Important: Here we have ASSERTIONS with ZERO citations of ANY FACT.

It's almost funny... I did start laughing... but then I realized how many people just believe this crap... without even questioning.

We all have different personalities and tones... but it is down to each of us in this information age to promote rational thinking... not by attacking but by giving examples of how we can all survive, cooperate and thrive well into the future.

The divisions of belief could also kill us all... or make us so confused as to be easily lead into a society we don't want.

BAM! I Smack Down A Climate Change Denier.

I had a friend watch a video interview I posted with Katie Couric and Al Gore on cleaning up our act & protecting our ecosystem from human destruction.

Katie... who, if you have listened to my interview... has pissed me off a lot... asks some "less lame" questions. Mr. Gore makes complete sense.... drilling is not the future. You'll learn a lot from this.

[ My friend appears to be frightened by that. And came at me with this: ]

Water for fuel -

HHO Not murdering the inventors of alternative fuels would help - There are a lot of inventors using their inventions quietly..None of the non-consumptive alternatives are funded by the Government - No PAC or Corporate contributions to politicians.. AND, there is NO shortage of oil available in the US..Alaska has more oil than Saudi Arabia, and Montana has 40 billion barrels, so does Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado..

FYI global warming is a fraud..We just finished the closest orbit to the sun - It'll be the coming ice age that will be driving up the cost of energy next..

[ I didn't take on the water for fuel thing, nor the insane "we have more oil Alaska in Saudi Arabia!" nonesense... I went right to the common cry that "global warming is a hoax because of our proximity to the sun... "

That stuff can all be disproven so I said: ]

We have solid, tested scientific proof that global climate crisis change is fact.

You can see the studies ... the science links are in the wikipedia article on global climate change. The factual status of the global climate crisis is very easy to find and solid.

Yet you say it's a fraud? OK. Prove it!

[ Fair enough right? ]

[ So here is his "proof" with my answers:]

Did you miss the articles about the scientists (over 3,000 of them) that are suing Al Gore for fraud over global warming??

Ok... the 3000 was reduced to about 140 who agreed to have their name put on that list that had any knowledge of climate... and they were not "suing"... I posted an article and video about that... it was debunked... completely as an big oil "muddy the waters" ploy, but this is serious now, they are promoting the work of one religious fundamentalist who made a bunch of stuff up.

[ this evidence is so laughable... it's gonna hurt... so get ready...]

http://www.newshounds.us/2008/05/21/manmade_global_warming_denied_by_3200_scientists.php

So... let's not work for big oil promoting religious nuts.

There was a period of planetary warming (included all the other planets - must be those SUVs on Saturn and Jupiter)..

That meme has been going around the internet for sometime. It was started by a guy called Frederick Seitz. He is correct that all planets in the system are warming and cooling and having shifts ... and they are all related to the sun. He neglects to tell you that EARTH's changes are DISPROPORTIONATE... or MUCH GREATER and UNRELATED to their changes. Cute. Frederick Seitz was/is also on Exxon's payroll. We don't believe Seitz. He has been disproven.

Additionally, there have been periods of time in history where the CO2 levels were higher than now and that didn't cause warming then - green house gas is not what raised global temps - the last few orbits around the sun did that..

[ That
