Dear Friends,
Greetings as the new year begins!
Kicking off our 25th Anniversary year, the Rex Foundation is pleased to announce the following upcoming events to launch the 2008 Rex Musical Caravan, where the community of musicians, fans, promoters and venue operators collaborate to support the Rex Foundation's mission:
-
Friday, February 29th: Tea Leaf Green with Moonalice at The Fillmore in San Francisco, with a special pre-concert reception and mingling with the artists - Click here for details and ticket order information. And, $1 per ticket sold benefits the Rex Foundation.
Details for the April shows will follow.
Check out the recipients of recent Rex Foundation grants, as well as the 2007 Jerry Garcia, Ralph J. Gleason and Bill Graham Awards. Enjoy reading through the descriptions of all the beneficiaries of Rex Foundation grants to see how your generous support ripples across the country and beyond to bring about positive solutions to local and global challenges.
We're immersed in planning a year of special events and activities to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We look forward to connecting with you as kindred travelers on the bus of the Rex Community Caravan , continuing to expand our grassroots philanthropic community. Let's make this a breakthrough year, moving those grant dollars way past the $8.2 million distributed so far, demonstrating our collective power to further what the Grateful Dead started in the fall of 1983.
With appreciation for and enthusiasm about our meaningful connections,
Sandy Sohcot
