I am on location till May 28 so will not be checking myspace

Hi all

I will be on location by the British seaside for the film The Boat that Rocked until the end of May.  Mrs Darby will be checking myspace from time to time to make sure there are no urgent messages but has asked that we put a hold on all your non urgent ones till June.  I think she means all your kind words and encouragement.  She has also said she may be a bit tardy in accepting all my new friends.  Please bear with us.  We will be back to fully functioning myspace mode before you know it.

Thanks so much for the birthday love!

I’ve just arrived in London and i’ve only just now got a chance to check my myspace stuff. I was blown away by the all the birthday love everyone showered me with on the Two Minutes in Heaven page. Thanks so much to the FA for their constant devotion and support. I took the time to read every comment and laughed out loud (lol i believe the kids say) at the pictures and songs. Brilliant work on the Wiki page. You really nailed it... well at least the part about me ending up on another planet!

Now i’m here in London, i’m about to start work on my second movie called ’The Boat That Rocked.’

YES MAN

YES MAN the movie has finished shooting.

It will be released in December i believe.

YES MAN is my first movie. I was lucky enough to get a part playing a nerdy boss called Norman. Acting alongside Jim Carrey who plays the lead in the film was a dream come true for me. I only hope i did an hilarious enough job. I think i did. Everyone seemed to be laughing at me a lot on set. Even when i wasn't acting... or talking.

YES MAN started life as a very funny true story book by Danny Wallace. I highly recommend you read it. We say no to most things in life with out even realising it. The power of saying yes to things out of our comfort zone is quite astonishing. Try it some time. ... but be carefull.

...i said yes once when i was asked to do a stand-up comedy gig on a 747 airliner. Some of you know how well that gig went!

I'm in a UK movie shooting March through June. - i'll blog about that shortly.

A big thanks to my DVD audience!
Current mood: accomplished

I would like to give thanks to the wonderful audiences that turned up for my DVD record shows at the El Rey Theatre on the 17th.

I had an amazing night and i'm so glad it all came together so smoothly.

Both shows were sold out and i really thrived on the responses i was getting from the crowd. Some of you may know that i had just flown in from the UK the day before and so i was jet lagged. I really needed the positive energy to keep me going for both shows and i more than got it.

A special thanks to the Flight Attendants for their continuing support and for all those other fans who travelled many miles to see me!

Thanks also for those of you who played a part in the 'theatre entrance' sequence.

The DVD will be released worldwide in November!!

Yes it's true. I'm performing on ELLEN'S REALLY BIG SHOW during The Comedy Festival at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Thursday, November 15th! 

ELLEN'S REALLY BIG SHOW Premieres on TBS Monday, Nov. 19, at 9 p.m. with an encore immediately following at 10:30 p.m.!

At last my stand-up will hit American TV sets..
