Hi! Any of you, who have read my some of my blogs or have visited my site I made for Caitie, know I believe "little things can make a difference" and big things too! Well I wanted to post this information as I am very impressed and excited for what Diane and her organization are doing! She is an inspiration to me and many! I only wished I lived closer to Jersey so I could attend as well! Check out what's going on...you may find yourself interested! They have a really cool poster to display as well, unfortunately I am not very good at posting html! There is one on display in my comments section tho, or visit the site on my top 40!

at The Headliner, Neptune, NJ Nov. 23, 2008 3PM-8PM with Gary U.S. Bonds, Bob Burger, Jody Joseph and the Average Joes, Boccigalupe and the Bad Boys, The Intentions, Ray Korona, The Rock n' Roll Chorus and special guests!
Proceeds to benefit the establishment of Beth Miriam, a House of Hospitality in Jersey City and to aid the Bridges of Peace "Help a Child Through a Soldier" Drive Project which supports the troops and children whose lives have been adversely affected by war and poverty.
PLEASE BRING AN ITEM TO HELP A CHILD THROUGH A SOLDIER... Items include stuffed toys, clothes, new shoes, school supplies, children's books, soccer balls, dolls and art supplies.
I was uploading songs from Bon Jovi's 100,000 Fan's Can't Be Wrong, specifically, "Taking It Back"....to my myspace player...haven't heard if for awhile but immediately remembered...Ha Ha Ha Ha....my youngest boy sang along to it all the time...but his lyrics were "Taking A Bath" (I think he thought that's what was being said)...apparently in his little "Rock n' Roll world...he was taking a bath..Jovi style ;)...Wow...well all my kid's grew up "Jovi"....there are some funny Jovi memories.....

I've watched this video before, and really like it. It was only today that something else "hit" me about it, and I now enjoy it even more.
Growing up with my older sisters (10 year age difference), two were Beatlemaniacs, they have and still do love the Beatles. So do I. It's just a little, I don't know what the correct word would be..ironic..nostalgic...meloncholy...I don't know...perhaps "special" to see my all time favorite musicians, from Bon Jovi, paying a tribute to George Harrison (whom I have always loved, and was introduced to..musically, by my sisters love of him). Life is really surprising if we pay attention to the little things...as it unfolds....and full of meaning...and precious

This is how I met Mark, in an elevator in Seattle after the Bon Jovi HAND concert....our freindship began after a conversation over THIS song was started...which Mark wrote with Jon - this song is brilliant, as are the men who wrote it!
I am hoping to start a "non-profit" in my daughters name and memory....this is something I have dreamed on doing for a long time but thought it would be too much work to start at this time...then....I had an epiphany.....I can start out slow and watch it grow which is what I will start by doing. She was my "Little Butterfly" and this will be called and the theme will be something along the lines of butterfly project. It will be designed to help people in some way. The Vision is there and I am hoping to have a "myspace" site up with her story and my Vision for the project in the next few weeks...however the way life goes....who knows how long it will take. I am hopeful. If anyone has any advice or can offer input regarding starting a non-profit or this type of project...please feel free to share...this is new territory for me! Thanks! ...

Caitlin Marie my 14 month old Little Butterfly!
St. Patrick’s Day has much meaning and memory for me. This is the day the Lord took my daughter Home. I’m sharing it because it actually is a story that gives comfort and hope to me now.
I knew I wanted to name my daughter Caitlin. When I found the name, in the baby bookI chose the Irish Spelling, with a "C" rather than a "K". It meant "Pure".
One of Caities last times in the hospital, she came close to dying. Being Catholic, I asked the staff to please call a Priest. Not knowing which parish he was coming from or who he was, as I was not familiar with Tacoma, I waited.
The Priest who entered, to my surprise, was an Irishman from St. Patrick’s Parish. We talked about Caitie, then he sat next to her and prayed over her as I watched. It was a very beautiful prayer, he was very nice.
I do not recall the date or if Caitie entered the hospital again after that, however I remember she came home and eventually went onto hospice care. Caitie passed away on St. Patrick’s day 2003 at 11:45 pm. All members of her family and the nurse she loved were present in the home, I was holding her. The ironic thing is that Alicia (her sister) was living elsewhere at the time and at first was not going to come over (we did not know that Caitie would die that night for sure) but then surprisingly she showed up after all. Caities nurse was not supposed to show up for another week but unexpectedly decided to come out early, she lived a long distance away. It was like it was all planned by God.
This is just one out of more than a few signs or coincidences if you choose, (but I believe!) that I’ve experienced since or with her passing. Today I am healed and at peace....and St. Patrick’s day is not a time of sorrow...rather celebration....of Caitlin Maries entrance into Heaven! :) Safe at Home. Caitie is my Good Luck Charm, on St. Patrick’s Day!

1. I breifly dated Iggy Pop's nephew in highschool.
2. In 2006, I said "Hi" to Jon Bon Jovi as he walked by us in the lobby/lounge area...Jon said "Hi" back...then tripped on the stairs :)....Priceless!
3. In 2006 Richie Sambora and David Bryan walked out right in front of me & my friend Janice, from the Elevator at the hotel we were all staying at....(Yes it became clear their room was on the same floor as ours...in fact 2 doors down) I said something stupid...and I wont tell! ha ha
4. I have a daughter who passed away in 2003 from complications to a condition she was born with. I believe she saw Angels during her short life and was witness to her behaviour to lead me to believe such.
5. I like red wine, Cabernet, Merlot or Syrah
6. I had Bell's Palsy for several weeks last year.
7. I love marketing, advertising, writing, anything creative!
8. I have 6 sisters and 2 brothers. One of those sisters passed away from cancer years and years ago.
9. I believe all things are possible with God and I believe in the law of attraction and positive thinking.
10. I am a Mother, Business woman, and REALTOR. I can help connect people through out the world with a real estate agent they need. :)
