know what depresses me?

Livejournal.  Ring any bells for anyone?

It seriously depresses me the number of people who used to have livejournals that dont update them anymore.  Myspace is great, dont get me wrong, but I love livejournal so much more.  Myspace blogs are SO annoying when all they are are nothing but surveys...over, and over, and over again.  But somehow, on lj, they never bothered me.

I went through my friends list on lj today and looked at about 15 peoples journals who I used to look forward to reading, and they havent been updated for over a year.  Boo to that.

Fuck myspace!  You get so much more out of reading someone's livejournal.  And to anyone who reads this, I know you're probably thinking, well why the hell is he posting this on here then?  Well duh...cuz if it was posted on my livejournal, no one would see it.  I dare you, if you wanna read what's going on in my life, go to

And if you used to have a livejournal, get back in the habit!  I fell slave to myspace too, and didnt update for close to 8 months.  But now I'm back in the swing of things and love it.  Update your livejournal and I promise I'll leave a comment!  I miss reading your journals!

the one with the lesson...

Today's lesson learned...messing with Liz means sand in your balls.

I'm updating from Myrtle Beach. It's been a wonderful 7 days here. It's a gorgeous area, the weather has been great, and waking up next to the person you're in love with every morning for a week aint so bad either.

We've had a lot of fun. We havent even done a lot of touristy things. We've basically just gone to the beach and pool a lot, laid out, shopped, and have driven around the area. It's been very relaxing, and exactly what I've needed for a long time. The only bad part about this vacation is that it's winding down. I have to go back to the god-forsaken state of Michigan in three more days. I'd rather kill myself. I miss nothing about it there.

Well, I shall go. I need to hop in the shower to rinse the ocean off me, then we're going out to get tattooed or pierced. I havent decided which yet.

the one with the summer vacation...

Havent done this in awhile, and I'm waiting for class to start, so I'll humor myself...

I've got a week of spring classes left.  Next Tuesday is my last day.  I dropped my summer classes so I can work and make some extra money, so perhaps I'll get to have a summer this year.

I'm going on vacation in a few weeks that I'm very much looking forward to.  There were a lot of different places I was supposed to go to this summer, Arizona and Colorado come to mind, but those fell through.  I'm going to Myrtle Beach with Liz for 10 days at the end of July, and I cant wait.  A REAL summer vacation...how exciting!  This trip did require me to cancel my plans to go to Put-In Bay with Sara, but I'll make it up to her.  I really wanna drive out to visit her in the end on August before fall classes start.  We always have so much fun together, that would be a trip.  We'd rock every karaoke bar her side of Pittsburg.

What else is new...got my loan check finally to go through.  So bills are paid, and I'm a little more sane.  That's always good.

I've hung out with Tony a few times in the past couple weeks.  It's been nice to catch up with him since we probably spent a collective 5 hours together last semester of school.  We got to get some quality bor time in before he leaves for Chilie in August.

Oh yes, and the gf.  She's amazing.  We spend as much time together as we can.  And it's never enough.  It's nice to finally be with someone that it physically hurts you to leave them, even though you know you're probably going to see them the next day.  And she makes me smile everytime I'm with her.  That's always nice too. :)

Alright, I'm gonna have to call it quits and get to class.  Later kids.

the one with the prehistoric forest...

Well, I didnt make it to Cedar Point last week.  It was supposed to rain, so Liz and I went to the Prehistoric Forest instead.  It's this little side of the highway tourist attraction in Ohio.  You just walk through the woods and there's paper mache dinosaurs everywhere.  There's also this house that like defines gravity and you're at a 45 degree angle the whole time you're in there.  Liz made a fool of herself...she couldnt walk for crap.  Haha.  Anyway, the place was kinda lame, but I have fun doing stupid shit like that, and it was fun anyway cuz I was with Liz.  Afterwards we drove down the road to this lighthouse where we took some good pics and walked in Lake Erie for a bit.

Let's see, beyond that, worked all damn weekend.  Art Van is really starting to stress me out.  I dont know what it is anymore, I just dont want to be there.  I'm trying to make the most of it because I dont want to quit another job, especially since this is the last one I have left.  At least I still have some great coworkers.

the one with the bust party...

Here are a few things that suck right now...

1. those damn white fluffy things blowing around everywhere
2. the Best Western (and everyone/everything involved with it)
3. people who cant merge on the highway
4. my broken air conditioner
5. people who didnt come to the Body Shop party tonight

So yeah...the party was kind of a bust tonight.  Stacy didnt seem to mind too much that no one showed up, at least me and her and my sister got to sit around and chat.  And I did buy some stuff from her tonight, and I know we'll get some sales from the catalogs.

I'm either going to Soak City or Cedar Point on Thursday, and that seriously excites me.

And I may be borderline tipsy right now.  I drank a bottle of wine and two beers while we were sitting around chatting.  Maybe I should join AA like I told Katie...

But the amazing thing is, things can happen and you're totally coherent.  I just spent the last 50 minutes on the phone, and I was so far from an altered state of mind it's rediculous.

Yet now I cant type...lol  I've literally had to go back three or four times to check my spelling.  And I'm sure I've left some mistakes in there someone.

But nonetheless, after my conversation tonight, I'm going to bed smiling, and that's all that counts.
