We're in the shop

As they say, you can always save a classic. pardon our melodrama last night. We're not COMPLETELY dead. But we are postponing till Summer. So those of you that wanted to submit but didn't have the time to, well today's your lucky day.

We'll post much more detailed information as soon as we can, but please disregard the March 10th date. That no longer goes.

Bear with us... we'll get this jalopy off the blocks and tearing ass around Detroit soon enough. And when we do, it'll be the frankenstein's Monster we REALLY want it to be.

Submission deadlines!!!

The call for entries for Rust & Roll is quickly careening towards it's deadline! So if you have something you're working on, but have yet to tell us about it, now's the time to let us know what you're planning so we can allot wall-space and manage everything just right. Even if your piece is not finished, e-mail Jeanette Strezinski at strezins@gmail.com to let us know what's what.

The submission deadline is February 14th.

All artists need to contact Jeanette Strezinski to schedule a shipping date. All artwork must be ready to hang with wire. Use plexi-glass only when shipping---no glass in framed work. Especially for this venue. Artist's name, title and price should be noted on the back of each artwork. These little details help when hanging a group show of this caliber.

The art space (in it's raw form)

Below are pictures (and detail shots - what can we say, we eat this stuff up) of what will become the art space for this show. The walls are most likely to be painted a deliciously rusty, rich red color and we're gonna install a few smaller floating walls to help make sure we have plenty of surface space for art. We're also, by the way, right next to the master, Mark Arminski. How great is that? We'll tell you how great.... really great! Ha!
