Rob Zombie’s Halloween was voted Best Film of 2007 in the Sixth Annual Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards.

There was a record vote this year and Halloween set a record with the most received in any category over six years of voting.

Halloween fans were great in numbers, but they were also passionate and knowledgeable about the genre as a whole and greatly added to this year’s Rondos.

Halloween editor Glenn Garland has been hard at work finishing the making of Halloween documentary. This was obviously filming during filming of Halloween but we were unable to finish it in time for the DVD release. This will be available later this year.

Halloween – As you know, I was a big fan of The Devil's Rejects and I don't think anybody does horror as well as Rob Zombie. This is the best of the Halloween movies, especially before it starts becoming a little like the early Halloween movies in the last hour or so. But then again, have we ever been quite so scared?
