I was on the radio! Well, it was BlogTalkRadio…I called in last night for a very *impromptu* chat with Amy, co-hostess of the League of Extraordinary Paranormal Women! I'm back from a refreshing weekend in Asheville NC! The Alison Krauss/Robert Plant concert on Saturday night was fantabulous, to say the least! They played many great songs from their RAISING SANDS CD and I was totally blow away by their top-notch performance which included (my fave) a version of Led Zeppelin's BATTLE OF EVERMORE!
I spent the rest of the time walking around downtown Asheville, checking out some of the unique, cool shops with my friends and ate some delicious foods too! Overall, it was a wonderful, unforgettable pre-birthday weekend! :)
I should have a few pix coming soon --so, stay tuned!
Yes, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss will be in concert in Asheville NC --and I'm sooo there! I got tickets as an early birthday treat, so a couple of friends & I are planning a fun-filled weekend trip! From what I've heard, there will be a few Led Zeppelin tunes tossed into the mix too --oh yeah! :)
