Review--East bay Express
Girls rock, and all that. But Sassy!!! is actually quite good. The San Francisco duo's debut is a streamlined, speedy punk record with none of the dumbed-down attitude so many "back-to-basics" rock 'n' roll outfits feel obligated to exude. Sassy!!! News!!!

Dear friends and fans,
Just got back from the most amazing road trip to LA and Vegas, thanks to all our friends and fans that came out. Our show with nerf Herder got a mention in the LA Weekly and they printed a big pic of us in Las Vegas City Life!! All I got to say is "What Happens in Vegas"....is said for a reason ;)
In other news, Donita Sparks of L7 fame wore our Sassy shirt when they were recording live for MTV Brazil!!! I can’t think of a more cool way of promotion and we are so honored.
We are recovering as we speak, new album is mastered, stay tuned for more deets!

Studio!
Current mood: excited
We're going in to the studio (with the awesome Donny Newenhouse)on Nov 17th. Can't fucking wait to get this record out and some new tunes up, we are READY to ROLL! There is a new edition to the Sassy sound, you will hear and see it at the next Sassy show (Nov 9th) we sound quite beefy if you ask me. Who knows? There may be a special guest on the record so stay tuned!

PPPZine in France reviews SASSY!!! (In English)

SASSY!
Kurt Danielson, who isn't the kind of guy to listen to garbage, told me one day to go and give a listen to SASSY. Me, I'm curious by nature and because I'm ready to find pleasure in my idols (and to please them) and also because I'm eager to inform the general readership of PPPzine about new ones, I went there. WOW! (or va va va voom!), my friends, here are 2 chicks who have a pair of God's Balls. Their niche is basic punk a la '77, just like you like it, and these tunes really rip with simple melodies that are harmonically effective. Their demo made a really nice buzz down there in California, where punk by numbers reigns supreme, so you can understand why they've made such an impact. Listen to SASSY and await the release of the new album that has been announced and will be available soon. And then like me and some chicks who sing and scream and play guitar, I'm gonna crack and fall in love, like Matttbrrr (???).
