it's been some time since my last entry.

seems like i never get around to writing journals because i'm usually too lazy/busy/tired to do so. right now i'm all of the above.

just got home from a 12 hour plane ride from barcelona. spent a week in europe on a quick mini tour. couldn't sleep on the plane. circadian rhythm's shot to hell. airline lost my luggage. i have exactly one hour to prepare for the last band practice before my next tour, which leaves in two days. haven't touched a bass in about 6-7 days. instead, i'm drinking a tall. $5.73 in the bank. rest of my money still in euros. still haven't moved my stuff out of my old place, which will be completely abandoned by the time i return. speeding ticket is due in a week. will be gone for about a month. my two other bands will both be playing without me. go see them:

'scusez-moi.

i need to brush up on my french.  my some 3 years from grade school and 3 years from high school have atrophied in the biggest way possible. 

anybody willing to lend me a french/english dictionary, instructional cassettes, or refresh my memory of french curse words?

i would also like to learn how to talk in a ridiculous french accent (ala monty python).  i think i would find that useful as well.

(wait, is it safe to say "french" yet?  replacing it with "freedom" is retarded, and not even in that "special" kinda way.)
