so very disappointed in myself
I had a pretty horrible summer. I let the craziness of life distract me and didn't stay focused. I hate writing papers because I'm terrible at it. I had to write like 19 of them for my history class and half of them were late. Oh, and essay tests are really lame too.

spring grades and summer schedule
Current mood:  contemplative
so, yesterday was the first day of my third semester at mcnally smith college of music. i had this lame sociology of music class that was supposed to last like four hours but skipped out during break and this morning i dropped it. it was at the same time as artist & industry so i took that class again instead. i'm trying to decide if i should fill up my last two credits. there is another production class i could take that would work but it would be from 4:10-6:50pm on wednesdays. i usually have a rehearsal with kelly nicole acoustic at that time but i'm sure we could work around that. i'm just not sure if i want to take 18 credits again this summer. my drumming classes are much more challenging this semester and i have private lessons with dave schmalenbeger and marv dahlgren. there are also a few drummers i've been talking to about studing with outside of school. i have about a week to make up my mind. anyway, here's my schedule right now:

Current mood:  disappointed
i'm so disappointed in myself. i should have spent my time practicing and studying. but no. i was lame. i don't know what my problem is. i can do better than that. i guess it was my first semester and my first attempt at going to school. now i know what to expect. and it's not like i failed horribly where i have to retake any classes. i just learned my lesson. i have to practice every day next semester. i promise i will do better. or i will kill myself :)

i hate stupid people
Current mood:  annoyed
fucking stupid people ruin everything. i don't want to be in a class where there's like 40 people and everyone is talking about stupid crap and wasting my time. in world music we listened to this 20 second clip of a sitar and then i had to listen to the whole dumb class give "critical response" or whatever. it's sooo lame. this one kid was like "it sounds like a hindu guitar". fuck that kid. i hate him and he's an idiot and i don't want to be in a class with him. and this one kid was on his laptop on myspace and taking pictures of himself the whole fucking class. he should die. i don't understand how they let these stupid guitar player losers in this school. it makes me want to quit. i better have a real class tomorrow.
