She’s Nobody’s Baby Now
I'll search the holy books I'll try to unravel the mystery of Jesus Christ the Savior I read the poets and the analysts Searched through the books on human behavior
I've traveled this world round For an answer that refused to be found I don't know why, and i don't know how But she's nobody's baby now..
I loved her then, and i guess i love her still Hers is the face i see when a certain mood moves me She lives in my blood and skin
Her wild feral stare, her dark hair Her little lips, as cold as stone Yeah, i was her man
But there are some things love won't allow I held her hand, but i don't hold it now I don't know why, and i don't know how But she's nobody's baby now..
This is her dress, i loved best With the blue quilted violets across the breast And these are my many letters Torn to peices by long-fingered hands I was her cruel-hearted man
And though I try to lay her ghost down But she's moving through me even now I don't know why, and i don't know how But she's nobody's baby now.. She's nobody's baby now Nobody's baby now

Pure Positivity, yo
So I though I would follow up my last bitter blog with some words of wisdom/ positivity that I have collected from this book I am reading, 'No Ordinary Moments' by Dan Millman. I read another of his books, 'The Way of the Peaceful Warrior' a while back and was inspired in my recent times of emotional struggle to read some think-positive hippie shiiiiiit to keep my mind in the right place. Here's a few quotes I have collected, I am only about a third of the way through, but already so much useful stuff.....
Unless otherwise specified, the words are his....
I cried because I had no shoes Until I met a man who had no feet -Persian saying
Pray as if everything depended on God and work as if everything depended on man -Francis Cardinal Spellman
Pain, whether in body, mind, or emotions, is a fire storm that purifies all in its path, clearing old karmas and teaching new lessons.
As the disoriented pedestrian learned, it's what we don't see that can hurt us. -Anonymous
The body lives in the present moment, the mind, however, sails between past and future like a ghost ship.
Addictions can enslave or even kill us, but if we persist beyond them, they offer a painful, difficult, but inevitable path to freedom and self knowledge. Sometimes we have to pass through Hell to get to Heaven.
"You areonly to happy to change your clothing, your hairstyle, your partner, your apartment, your job; you seem willing to change everything but yourself" -Socrates in 'The Way of the Peaceful Warrior'
The gap between knowing and doing remains a weak link in most of our lives.
When people ask me how to do something, I remind them that they already know how; they are really asking "What's the easy way?"
Those of us who haven't yet accepted how the world works still look for the easy way out, that magic formula that produces something for nothing.
Every complex problem has a simple solution that doesn't work. -HL Mencken
............we suffer the consequences of repeated errors only until we become aware of the error. At first, we don't see the error; then we begin to see it only after the event has taken place, and we suffer regrets. Later, we see the error during the event; "Oh, I am doing it again!" Finally, we anticipate the error before we make it and so avoid it.
Autobiography in 5 Short Chapters, by Portia Nelson Ch.1: I walk down the street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I fall in. I am lost....I am hopeless. It isn't my fault. It takes forever to find a way out. Ch.2: I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I pretend I don't see it. I fall in again. I can't believe I ma in this same place. But it isn't my fault. It still takes a long time to get out. Ch.3: I walk down the same street. There is a dee phole in the sidewalk. I see it there. I still fall in... it's a habit.... but, my eyes are open. I know where I am. It is my fault. I get out immediately. Ch.4: I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I walk around it. Ch.5: I walk down another street.
So yes, these words have been inspiring my mood and my desire to remain happy and positive, which is easy enough as long as I don't sink into the dark recesses of my mind and succumb to my angry feelings..... thought I'd share :-)

GLASS BRASIERS AND CROTCH GUARD
When I went to Atlanta last year I met an amazing designer who works in metal. Such a craft has always been fascinating to me, and when I saw this particular piece I fell in love with it. These images shot by Allan Amato, VenusWept.org. Metal and glass work by Virgin Iron.
The rest of the images, including of course the nude pix :-) are n my site, Scar13.com

RED WHITE AND PINK
I guess I am just not patriotic in a conventional way, but I wanted to post these red white and pink pix on my site this week :-)
If you have not heard of caking, lemme give u a briefing. It's when someone sits naked in cake and then smashes their gennies on another person's face so that person gets high from the sugar intake/ suffocation.
You can understand why I can only post a very mild taste of these pix that Lithium Picnic shot of me with Apnea, where she is the caker and I am the cakee :--) The rest of the dirty dirty caking shots are on my site, Scar13.com :-)

WHO HAS MADE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE THIS YEAR??
Category: Friends
It's so easy to get caught up in the monotony of life that sometimes we forget to stop and think.... who has made a positive difference in my life this year?
So here goes.....
My friend Zen Dom for always being there and always being sane. I can ask him for advice and it wont be sugar coated or vague. He's just there to help and listen :-) Plus he showers me with compliments whenever I cook for him, so that's an added bonus :-) In a social circle where a lot of my friends are kinda nuts (something that has it's pro's and con's) it's wonderful to have someone that's consistently a positive force in my life.
My friend David, for somehow evolving along the same path as me :-) I don't know how it has happened that way, we both started out so tormented and angry and have both chosen more elevated paths since. It's great when instead of having change tear us apart it brings us closer to people we love.
My beautiful lover man, for putting up with my bouts of depression and knowing when not to take it personally. And for giving me the sweetest doggies as a Valentine's Day gift. We are having a date tonight with wine and cheese and tiramisu :-) It is beautiful to have someone to experience such silly intimacies with :-) Sometimes it's not the people we go out and socialize with but the one's we're comfortable enough with just to sit around at home with that mean the most.
There are many more people in my life I am thankful to have, how about you all? Someone you'd like to give a shout out to????
