This 4 song EP marks the return of So-Cal punk rock band The Scarred. After broken bones, new families, broken engagements, a silent label collapse, The Scarred is still alive and kicking. These four songs will kick your ass and remind you that SOME punks still know how to Rock and Roll! The band has returned to their DIY roots, releasing it directly through iTunes and other mp3 download sites to cut out all the middlemen and manufacturing costs. Keep your eyes peeled for the PANIC! IN AUGUST WE'LL BE RELEASING SOME OF THE NEW MATERIAL WE'RE FINISHING IN THE STUDIO. Many of you know we went back in the studio in the winter but we when certain funding immediately dried up, we weren't ever able to finish the songs. So NOW we're almost done with them, and you can expect a LIMITED online release, probably via iTunes and Snocap, and DownloadPunk. We're unsure for the moment. If we can find someone interested in releasing a 7" version, we may do that.
Many people are asking "Wy aren't you playing many shows?" It's because we're writing material and trying to get the MONEY to record a new album. We have no label right now, so instead of sitting around waiting for one to appear (no one believes in good punk anymore, so there aren't any punk labels around I guess) we're still working hard on our own.
