hi love bugs. just wanted to check in with y'all....
wow, halloween is TOMORROW....what in the world am i gonna be?? you'll have to check back to see my pictures :)
but will you guys A) please tell me what you're gonna be and B) PLEASE post pictures when you have them?!?! halloween is my fav holiday so i get all excited about these things.
also.....i'm heading to the east coast....NYC baby.....
playing a show with my good friend Matt White at the Bowery Ballroom on monday, nov. 3rd......
it's been WAY too long since i've played a show in NY so i'm pretty pumped about it :)
also, my record is really coming along.....i'm really excited for you all to hear it. LOT of surprises....even some i can't believe! ...oh, and special guests too. wink. (you'll never guess, really!)

SOooooooo, thank you to all of you that came out to the hotel cafe show this past saturday. it was so FUN! you guys are the best.....i had a lot of fun trying out some new tunes for you all....
so, i'm really excited that i have a few shows coming up in October, then a tour to follow in the coming months (y'all will be the FIRST to know about the details of that ;)
my Team Schuyler page will have all the latest and greatest info about all the shows and all the details.... i think they already gave you guys a head's up, but we're looking for some of you guys to help with placing posters around for upcoming shows, as well as some of you to help at the merch table at some of the shows. one of my new favorite street-teamers, Justin, was kind enough to help us out at my hotel cafe show and i so appreciated it!

ummm, jonny and i are having WAY too much fun on Photo-booth...taking tons of pics with our heads spinning into each others and what-not....it's wild.
anyway, just wanted to say HELLO! i am so flippin' happy to finally be working on my full length record! whooo hooo! i am currently on day 8....which you can see by the number of fingers i'm holding up in my profile pic!

hey guys! what's up!?! sorry i have been a total slacker at this blogging thing!! all apologies! i'm gonna be much better from now on, i promise!
okay, so, there has been a lot going on.....(some of which i'm not at liberty to talk about, but will let you know as soon as i'm allowed! and i will just say this: it is very exciting!!!)... so, i've been writing a ton of new stuff for y'all......i also ran out of my "songs for now" ep's (never to be re-printed)....so i printed a new batch of EP's called "ONE WORLD. BE KIND" and i'm selling them at my live shows! (sorry, that's the only place you can get them) oh yeah, i have new, very soft t-shirts too!
i had a really fun little run of dates opening for Ben Taylor and David Saw. (they are AMAZING....check them out on my top friends!) we played shows in Larkspur, San Fran, and Los Angeles and had such a blast......the LA show at the Hotel Cafe was a real highlight, as Ben's mom, Carly Simon, joined him on stage for a few tunes including everyone's fav "you're so vain.".....so great! the wonderfully talented Molly Jenson also joined us for those shows too and i've gotta say.....that girl is freakin' awesome! you all MUST check out here new cd "Maybe Tomorrow" available now on itunes! as long as i'm pimping my friends music.....check out Ben's record and David's records too! here are my favorite songs of theirs.....David Saw's "someone's gonna love you" and "don't call".....and Ben Taylor's "Nothing i can do" and "always".....and check out his myspace page for a crazy cool cover of snoop's "sensual seduction"....
okay, anywhooooo. i finally have a concrete plan for my record.....going in to record it this july/august (so soon! whoo hoo) and it should be out in the fall!!!! thank you all for your continued support through this LONG waiting game for my record. all i can say is i'm so sorry it's taken so long, but it was honestly out of my control!!! i appreciate your kind messages and comments like you have no idea!
i will be posting new songs from time to time on my page as well as video blogs from the studio!!!
also, have 2 new covers (duets) that i've recorded with 2 very special/amazing talents that i will be posting soon on my page for a FREE download...but only for a limited time, so stay tuned!!!!!!

hi friends, so, i'm blogging for a few reasons.....first of all i wanted to thank everyone who came out to my University of Illinois show and my House of Blues: chicago show last weekend. my band and i had such a blast and i was so happy to get to meet so many of you!!! my good friend Tim Myers also played the HOB show and that was so fun! he's fantastic.
also, i have a few more shows booked on a little run with Ben Taylor....we will be up in the San Fran/Larkspur area and then down here in Hollywood May 9-11....so if you're near i hope you'll come out!
also, my friend just sent me the most hilarious video that i want everyone to watch. i literally have watched it 7 times and it still makes me laugh.....here ya go:
on another note....THE WEEPIES new album "hideaway" is now out and it's literally the ONLY thing i'm listening to these days.....for those of you who haven't heard their music....they are on my top friends...please check them out! the weepies!
what else??? looking forward to getting my record finished...finally!!! i know this process is taking forever.......and it's so annoying. but it's been a pretty political process with my record label.....so i want to apologize to you all for keeping you waiting. but trust me, if it were up to me.....i'd put something out now!!!!!
i also want to remind you of my street team (also on my top friends).....they are amazing....and i want to invite all of you to join! my street team always has the latest news and updates and new pics, banners, music, videos, etc. they also welcome anyone that wants to help promote me/my shows.......like we're all part of a little team....called "team schuyler". they are always doing little contests to win things and they always have updates..... for those of you who have already joined......i love you! and i appreciate you....and i love meeting you guys, especially when you tell me that you're a part of my street team!!! okay, i'm gonna run..... but thank you all again for your love and support..... i love reading your messages and comments.....and though it's hard for me to reply to every one of them, i do try to respond to as many as i can!
