Well I am sure that you all are wondering what the hell is going on with Screams!  As you may or may not be aware I lost my father a few months back.  While I thought that I was pretty tough and that I would be able to ride it out, I was wrong.  I still suffer from the loss of my son and two grandsons rather severly so the loss of my Father was just the icing on the cake!  I have been pretty much doing nothing but rotting away over here.  For this I appologize to all of you!

On a better note though, I do have about a million updates for the Zine, and hope to get them up before too long.  Please be patient as I work through these personal issues.  I will get the Zine updated soon.  Stories, Scream Queens and more!  All coming soon.

Appologies, Excuses and Updates

OK, (deep breath), where should I start?  I guess that I will start with an appolgy for taking so damn long to get any updates done to the page.  Sorry, not promising that it wont happen again, but I truly am sorry about this time.  And I am sure that I will be sorry when it happens again! 

     Now, let's move on to some excuses.  First off I have been really tied up with the Paranormal Activity Research Association (PARA-4)  If your interested in ghosts and the paranormal you can check us out at the above link and on Myspace at: www.myspace.com/para_4  come be our friend!  The next excuse is an old one, of course many of you know that I got screwed over by an old friend and owner of my last job when he not only laid off myself and my wife during the holidays but he stole thousands of dollars from us as well!  It has been a little work to try to get back up and running from that mess, and it has affected my ability to work on Screams as regularly as I would like.  I am still not fully recovered from what that SOB has done, but by the time I am finished with him with the courts, etc, he will be feeling how I felt and I will be back up on my feet, all in due time, all in due time! Hehehehe.  Now on to the last excuse, and also the worst.  On April 12th I lost my father to throat cancer and it has been a little hard to deal with.  I am still coping with the loss of my son and two grandsons, so this was a kick in the gut!  If you want to see more about my father, or my son and grandsons, you can visit The McDonald Family Memorial Page.

Well it's about damn time!

Yeah, yeah, I know, you have been waiting for an update forever now!  Well it's here now!  We have two new short stories from Sweden!  Thom Olausson has shared his stories, "A Christmas Tale" and "Circus Comes to Town" with us.  Horror Author S.D. Hintz has brought us his short story, "Guttural" and David Lee has provided, for your scartainment, the tale of "The Barkeep"!  I have a request out for the January Scream Queen, so I hope that you can see her posted in the near future.  I also have a couple more stories to get posted, but I think I will wait a couple of weeks before I do that, depends on how many submissions we get of the next week or so.

Have you looked at the menu on Screams of Terror lately?  There are a ton of Authors listed there and each one with one or more stories in thier section!  Read them all.

I have been working on a PHP Nuke version of the site for you all but I am not happy with it as of yet, so I am not too sure when, if ever, it is going to go public.  We'll see!

As allways, we are looking for Scream Queens, stories, art, poems, reviews and anything horror!  Keep 'em coming, it's your magazine, show off a little!

I just wanted to let you all know that I am still up and running, just up and running behind!  This whole out of work thing has really slowed me down on the page.  But.  I have several stories to get up for you, and I will, soon, I hope!  I also need new Scream Queen submissions so send me your favorites.  Girls, don't be shy, submit yourself too!  Send all stories and Scream Queen submissions as well as review requests to bmcdonald@screams-of-terror.com  all spam will be promptly trashed, my penis is just fine thank you, I don't need your enhancing potions!

Hey screamers!  I just wanted to let you know that we are having temprary problems with the screams server, it would appear to be, ummmm, not screaming for some reason!  Hold all e-mails to me, unless it is on myspace, untill you can see the empty sockets of our skulls back on the web!  Hopefully we will be back up asap.

New Stories, reviews and of course, the Dec Scream Queen!

Well, I managed to get a couple of updates in the e-zine for you faithful Screams of Terror readers!  We have 2 new short stories from Rick McQuiston, The Other Half, and Watching the Children Play!  We also have a new review from resident Horror novel reviewer, Richard Simms, so go check out his latest, Prey by: Graham Masterson.  And now, what you all have been waiting for, of course, the new Screams of Terror Scream Queen for December 2006: Bianca!  I know your gonna love her.  Don't forget to check out all of the other beautiful Scream Queens of 2006 while your at it!

I have been hard at work on the new design for the e-zine for 2007, but I doubt that it will be ready by January, but it will sometime soon I hope.  The new site is going to be completely interactive with forums, chat and all kinds of stuff.

As always, we are constantly on the lookout for new Scream Queen submissions, your stories, poetry, art, photography and anything horror!  Send your submissions and movie, music, book review requests to bmcdonald@screams-of-terror.com We are also in need of feature writers, interviewers (We really need staff folks!) etc, etc.

Running slow

Hey everyone... I just wanted to lwet you know that the magazine is going to be running a little slow for a bit... Myself and my wife both got laid off on the 1st of December and my daughter, who lives with us, got laid off the week before!.. Thats right, Merry F'ing Christmas, you no longer have a job... My job was already 4 months behind on my pay so no big deal there, sit at home and not get paid, go to work and not get paid?.. Home wins!.. Anyways, I have no intention of turning this into a rant, here, thats what Exiled Angel is for... And I sure don't want to bring you down on the holiday... I have some new stories and reviews for you, as well as a new queen for December... I will get to them as soon as possible... If any of you out there is filthy rich and is looking for a charity case, you just found one, I will take anything from one to a billion dollars to pay the bills.
