Second Adam says Good-bye
It is my great sadness to announce that Second Adam is parting ways. For the past 4 years the entity of Second Adam has toured the country raising awareness of Apathy and preaching the Gospel of Christ.
For most of us these past 4 years has been about call. Where have we felt led to be? How can we serve? What is our mission?
Now after 4 years it has become clear that it is time to reassess and ask these questions again. After months of prayer and thought discerning our call we have made a decision. Liam started by saying he felt done. He feels Gods call to go to school to become a leader in the Vineyard Church (and most likely a pastor) while he works a side job and continues leading in the church he attends now. I have felt a call to go back to school and finish my degree I started 9 years ago (with a 6 year break to tour) to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. I'd be interested in filling in and doing some tours, so keep your eyes open for me with a band from time to time. Josh's call for the past 7 years has been to be in a band doing relational ministry. So Josh has decided to continue on and is currently looking for a band to join up with and tour.
There is so many stories... memories... hardships... triumphs... failures... and moments to even fathom writing it all down. So many miles... so much fuel... Tens of thousands of people... hundreds of concerts...
Keep a look out for our final shows coming up. We plan to finish out the year with a few special events here or there after that. We love you and thank you all for your support and want you to know that the impact that our fans have made on us personally will stay with us for a lifetime.

Rock Solid!
Winona. A beautiful little town tucked away in the midst of some small mountains and valleys of Minnesota. Inside this own you find the Rock Solid Youth Center. A great venue to play although the last few times the turn out has been low. We played with Silverline and Camera Can't Lie. Great talent playing here once again. Silverline (f.k.a. We 3 Kings) is a 5 piece band with a very modern edge to them that I really dig. Camera Can't Lie (f.k.a. Forgetful Grace) is a 5 piece band with a more "Goo Goo Dolls meets Switchfoot" type rock... very great to listen to.
A friend we have met on the road James and his buddy Scott met up with us they brought their digital camera to do some video clips. It was really nice of them and I appreciate it greatly. I think 3 of the clips will end up on You Tube if you are interested.

Bash on the Farm
Iowa! State number 14. We began our drive at 6 am and drove the few hundred miles to Garner Iowa. It was a HOT show. All 3 of us got a little burned... but oh well.
We played the main stage opening for Remedy Drive, the Wedding, and Stellar Kart. We had a good show and loved the fact that the crowd really got into singing along with the music. After we played we walked around the Festival listening to the other bands playing. We really dug some of the other bands and look forward to meeting up with some of them again sometime soon. We left a little early and headed up to St. Charles where we stayed the night before our show in Winona, MN the next day. The band hung out and just had a guys night out chillin'.

Bringing Sober Back
First of all I have got to say that I suck at directions. I used to think I was good but the problem is that I can really get deep into conversation which throws my thought process off of the task at hand. So yes I was navigating, and yes I told Josh (the driver) to turn early by accedent. So we are on the way to Canby, MN when Google Maps says to take a slight left... I saw a left... said is that a slight left?... Josh said sure... and within 20 minutes we were lost. So after fueling up I figured I could make up for lost time. So I was driving 70. No big deal right? Just 10 over the speed limit... WRONG! Because the speed limit was not 60 on this road like it was on the others. So I got pulled over, was clocked going 68 mph in a 55. Crap!
Well we made it to the venue an hour late which has never happened by our own fault before. I was so ticked... but alas the show must go on and we must maintain professionalism. We set up the system, checked it, got the other bands checked on it, and ate some food. It was a good energetic crowd and we had a blast.

The Core
Oakdale Minnesota... home of the "club" the core. Really its more like a church with a late night outreach. It was a fun place and really enjoyed being there. We hauled in our system and got to work setting it up. We played with some other bands and really enjoyed there music.
We rattled some pictures off the wall, made some new friends, and gained some new fans. Thanks for reading.

Valley City, ND
North Dakota! Great to finally get a chance to play up there. Doing ND brought Second Adam's state total up to lucky number 13. The venue was outdoors and the event was for benefiting the walk for cancer. As we pulled up to the fair grounds to play we realized that t was about 45 degrees... we ended up checking in and going back to the van to warm up.
Around 3pm it was time for us to play. With the temperature at around 55 degrees I wore gloves until go time. When it was time for the show... the gloves came off in a fit of Rock n Roll furry. Probably one of the better shows I've played in a while. I climbed up on the speakers for some of it and just really enjoyed enter-acing with the crowd.
It was a good time and we appreciate all who came out.

Club 1, MN
Alexandria Minnesota... great town. Its been 6 years since I last toured through there and not much has changed. We played at Club 1 with Dayside. It was a good concert and look forward to the next time we are able to come back.

FLC Musical, MN
We did something different this weekend (May 5 & 6). Second Adam was hired out to play in a youth musical. The musical happened at First Lutheran Church Columbia Heights and was a great success! When you play the same music all the time its nice to get to learn some new songs to clear your musical palette... especially if they are good songs.
All in all it was fun to play in the shadows rather than the lights for a change and we are proud of the youth who preformed.

New Holstein, WI
The day started very early in the morning by driving from Oshkosh to play at the middle school in New Holstein. Tons of people volunteered to help with load in and load out which made set up a breeze.
This was our first time touring with Tiffany Thompson of Life Promotions and it was definitely a pleasure to do so. Truth be told we have not gotten to do a ton of schools this year... so we were very excited to do one with Tiffany and explore whether or not this was a good match up.
After the middle school, where Tiffany talked about choices, we headed over to the High School where Tiffany did a different talk on choices. The coolest part of the High School stage we played on was that the play they just had was still somewhat set up. So there was this sweet cat walk and orchestra pit into the audience. I made sure I used that as much as possible.
At the end of the night we did the outreach. It was defiantly worth having. Tiffany's talk was right on the wave lengths of what everyone needed to hear. How we are poisoning our lives with the sins we are committing everyday.
In conclusion, this was a great night where we got to see some old friends and make some new ones, rock the night away in the name of Jesus.
Peace, Stephen<><

XtheR, WI
Its been a while since we've done an exclusive Worship gig. We appreciate these shows because they can really clear the palette. We had some fans drive up and wanted to hear a couple of specific songs so after the worship time we did 2 more and then hung out. After leaving the church we went out to Perkins with a couple of new friends. Tons of fun... thanks Christ the Rock for having us.
