Big News- Maron and I will tell you live on Friday
Hi Folks:
Marc Maron and I will be doing a live Sammy Cam show on Friday and we'll have some big news. I have been named Obama's VP. Not really. The truth is I am one of Cindy McCain's half-sisters that she pretends don't exist. I'm sorry that's a lie, too. Would you believe that John McCain has given me one of his ten houses if I promise not to mention that John McCain has ten houses?
Anyways, our news is not nearly as earth shattering as all that but it is big news in our neck of the woods, you helped it happen and I think you'll like it...tune in Friday at 3pm est at samsedershow.com to hear what's up.
Plus, we'll be doing Maron V. Seder daily next week. I'll be live from the Democratic Convention, Marc will be live from his kitchen. I may have some guests, Marc may eat some stuff- all live!
It's a sad comedy about Joe Lieberman's loser son, radical religous, extremist postal workers, Charlie Rose obsessions, oral copulation and terror attacks.
I wrote and directed it in May of 2001 and lost all my finishing funds after 9-11 for reasons that are obvious when you see the movie. (Oh, and my apologies to Rudy Guiliani for using the numerals 9-11 without paying him a royalty).
The movie stars myself, Sarah Silverman, Jon Benjamin, David Cross, Janeane Garofalo, Marc Maron, Ross Brockley, and Robert Schimmell. It's a strange low- budget comedy, but if you think any of the above are funny I think you'll like it.

After 4 plus years, this Sunday's Seder on Sundays very well may be my last regular appearance on the Air America Radio schedule. I've been told that I am one of those being considered for the 3-6pm slot but, frankly, particularly in this economy, I'd advise you not to place a bet on it.
Anyway, I will remain and am very appreciative to AAR for letting me continue as the online editor for AirAmerica.com. We are building an important online component to progressive talk. That said, I am confident this will not be the last opportunity for you to hear/watch me on political talk.
I am proud of my work over the past four years, I started out as a pretty bad broadcaster but think I 've certainly become mediocre! Whether on the Majority Report, the SamSederShow or Seder On Sundays, my ratings have always been an improvement of the show that I have replaced or better than those that have replaced mine.
Some moments I am particularly proud of..
On the Majority Report, we gave now Senator Jim Webb his first national exposure when he was still a primary candidate during our Fighting Dem series we did with DailyKos.
I gave Ned Lamont his first national exposure before he declared for Senate in CT and he ultimately first "unofficially" declared his run with me on a Friday when I was filling in for Randi.

When someone is 'losing his bearings', it is implied that they may be getting off track or is misinterprating the situation. McCain is further proving Obama's statement by completely missing the point... and Lieberman is looking more and more like a true Republican with his nutty inspection analysis:Too Effing Funny!
