Planned Collapse was scheduled to open up for Phobia, A.S.R.A., Skarp and, Magrudergrind at The Knitting Factory Friday June 6, but Planned Collapse has been stripped from the bill because of personal issues with 2 unnamed employees of the club. Please support the other bands that are playing and go to the show. See Squat is going. I hope to see all my friends.

   Was the 1st of May or Mayday as it is called. No riots just police, police and lots more police. Every entrance  ever  exit  warning people that there would be no tolerance towards anything . Open container or closed container. They were going to arrest anyone they deemed suspicious. Any reason even the smallest nothing, off to the tombs for it's lovely, cozy and happiest place in New York's lower Manhattan. If you feel like visiting the city it's a must see and for a place to spend the night, they serve food and it is all free of charge. Intersting people from all over the city and even all over the world. Most down there for the same womderful quality of life crimes Rudolph Guilani made into hate crimes during his term as New York City's mayor. Well myself gave the park wide gurth and stayed clear of that area this year. I didn't feel like spending any time in the tombs again especially the whole weekend something I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing first hand. My longest time down there has been around 20 hours more than less and it has been a long time since my last luxurious stay thankfully many years. Well I kind of got off point but that's life. These words that I have wrote aren't a reason for you to do anything stupid and get yourself arrested it is just me bored writing and having a little fun. So keep yourselves safe and out of trouble/jail and while your in the Big Apple(not to be confused with Apple Computers who is having a dispute with N.Y.C.). Thanks for reading my words and taking time out of your day to do so.And again don't do anything I might have done that place sucks.

if anyone thought my last notes on this there blog was about someone dying sorry for the miscommunication it is just about a friend living here moving on to somewhere else and leaving this home of see(c) skwat(squat) nothing more. it is just a sad day when someone of such high caliber, great importance and significance to this place. i think it will have great consequences to how i feel walking the hallways of this home of ours. i know that many of you might not understand what i am writing about and i apoligize for my ramblings but i just  wanted to clear up my last statements. thanks.

p.s. we have no spaces so don't even ask we are full until your 100 years old and that is being generous...

we lost...

...an important part of our building this morning and he will be sorely missed. an intrical piece of see squat he is not dead if that is what you think i am talking about he has just left our little place on avenue c for bigger and better things i hope he thinks of this place like a stepping stone up and up and not a slippery slide that made him jaded. a family that is what we are and many people have come to stay/live here and went on to new great things and when they thought back to their years/months/days/hours/minutes/seconds they remember all the good this place has done for them and when they think back they smile. and say "remember this one time back at see squat...". we have had many members and friends that have lived here and no matter what they are family (sometimes Manson Family) and you can't get rid of family no matter how you try. blood is blood and it is thicker than water beer or any liquid. it is the blood that keeps us stuck together. and it is everywhere in the wood sheetrock bricks cement and glass that makes this place home. no matter what or how crazy this place was or might become it sticks right to you like a bad habit or that monkey on you back you try to stay on the wagon but your shoelaces get caught and you are forever draging behind it. no matter how hard you try we are in you like a splinter or that piece of food stuck between your teeth sometimes we make you nuts and you wish you can just end it now but just like that food stuck in the side of your mouth you can still taste it and it tastes good like a happy memory of good times past. well you keep licking at it and that toothpick just can reach it is there to stay.

in the blood once one of us always one of us

you will be missed
you can leave but this will always be home
we are unlike nowhere on this planet
