I will write a blog about Romeo in a day or so, beacause I do want to share our last days together for my close kitty friends, because as paiful as it was it was also bitter sweet and loving
My sweet Willow-kitty, the gentlest little soul I've ever known, passed on Sunday December 16, 2007. It's too painful to write about yet. Just know she went gently in her sleep, and I feel honored that she chose to spend the last years of her life with me.

Oreo's great overnight adventure

This past weekend a friend of ours came to spend it with us. His name is Oreo, and our Mom picked him out of the shelter for her friend Dee. Mom has a good eye for cats and he is happily ensconced in his new home and new family and is loved and adored by all of them. It's not hard to love Oreo, he is simply an awesome cat Here is a photographic story of Oreos weekend over at Kellys Kittys.

Which future innovation do you wish would hurry up and get here already? i.e. flying cars, a transporter, computers with artificial intelligence, an auto chef?
Smart homes, with a central AI "heart" that keep themselves clean, protect the perimeter, keep at the perfect temperature, use entire walls that you simply ask the house to (example:) show me the beach off the Tahti coast. And it shows it it to you in real time, say when your going to sleep and you cn see and hear the surf going in and out to lull you to sleep. Keeps your kitchen stocked with the foods you want . Wall can be used to make phone calls with video, or to view a movie. Or become transparent of opaque for privacy. I could go on and on. And the house is affordable for all and green friendly, utilizing very little electricity or gas. And blends beautifule withthe enviroment....I dont want much! When your house is up for sale and all your stuff is out there!

The only concession I made when putting the house on the market was taking up the big round Royal blue rug with a Gold pentacle on it that was in the middle of my Magick room. I really respect the realtor because she didnt ask me to do it. But in thinking it over I thought, so many people still dont understand my faith and equate a pentacle with satan, that I would hate to lose a sale over it.. I did however run a ribbon from one side of the door to the other and posted a sign on it that says "Religous Retreat, Please do not enter."
I figure you can see the entire room from the door anyways, and I have never let anyone in there and let them touch my things, unless I felt a good aura from them.
The thought of strangers possibly handling sacred objects (to me) gives me the willies, but it was either take that chance or pack up that room. And I hated the thought of all my things put away before absolutely necassary. The realtor also told us that if we had small pocketable item of value to us it was best to put them away.
How could I do that in there? I have 23 sandstone animal gaurdians sitting together. I have 12 tiny jeweled boxes. Ceremonial knives. Hunks of amythest and tumbled stones. Same goes for my dining table. I have crystal balls (not really pocketable), down to tiny boxes and animals and again, stones and semi precious stones.
I gave this a great deal of thought. I would hate to lose these things that mean so much to me, collected lovingly over the years.
In the end I decided to leave it up to the Goddess. IF something goes missing. Then its one of two things. It needed to go with that person for a specific reason and is the Goddess' intent. OR. That person is gonna have really really awful Karma for stealing something of spiritual value to me. So it's in her hands. I'm not gonna worry over it. What will be will be. What do you think?
