Crossfit Fitness Levels
You remember these, right?
Okay, here;s something else for you, then: http://groups.google.com/group/geekfit-2008
I don't know if you'll be able to see much or join it or anything, but if you want to get in on my daily fitness blog and do a sort of fitness-penpal-forum deal, then this is the place for you.
In any case, here's my Current list of "Can Do" tasks.
(Go here to figure out what everything is. Hips 1 is the first thing on the list that says 'Hips' in the far left column. Hips 2 is the second. You get it?)
Hips 1: Level 1 Push 1: Level 2 Pull 1: Level 1 Core 1: Level 1 Work 1: Level 1 Speed 1: Hips 2: Push 2: Pull 2: Core 2: Level 1 Work 2: Speed 2: Hips 3: Push 3: Level 1 Pull 3: Level 1 Core 3: Work 3: Speed 3: Work 4:
This is all I've had the opportunity to test at this point. I'll keep updating this list as I complete more tests.

Update, I suppose
Current mood: peaceful
Okay, I haven't really written a blog in pretty much forever. I've been busy and I don't get on Myspace at work anymore, so my total time spent at this site is very limited. In any case, I figured some of you might be curious about what's going on in my life (I know I would be if I were you). This may be because of my overwhelming narcissism or something, but I don't especially care.
Work: I work as an accountant still, but my bosses are trying desperately to find ways to get rid of my accounting duties. They want me to be able to work full time on programming and analysis (basically like an internal consultant type of thing), but there isn't anyone else who can do what I'm doing. Hopefully that will change, but for now, it's tough to say. So anyway, I'm basically doing two full-time jobs right now. In one of them, I'm the Billing/Client Management/Revenue Processing/Reporting/Etc. expert, and in the other, I'm a Programming/Process Improvement/IT/Etc. expert. It's really fun, but it started getting to me that I could easily do any job in the department and I make less than anyone else. So just yesterday, I talked to my boss about getting a raise. We'll hear about that next week.
Other than that issue, work is good. I am very busy, but not impossibly so, and my superiors are all very satisfied with my work.
Play: Jenna and I were doing a lot of SCA stuff for a while, but now we've kinda backed off on it again. Some of that is because we went out to CA recently (more in the 'Home' Section) but a lot of it is just not really feeling like driving all over the place. I'm glad we're back into it to the level that we are, but I do want to keep working on things and going to practices and all. We haven't really been swing dancing this summer, because fencing is the same night as swing. We're definitely hanging with friends and playing games, though. We've gotten into Diskwars and Settlers of Catan, and we're playing WoW again. That soaks up a bunch of time, for sure. We stopped going to kickboxing, too. It was a fantastic workout, but it was just too tough to get out there for the classes they had. Justin and I went to the Rec center today and that was really fun. I definitely need to be doing more of that.
Home: Home is great. Jenna and I spend a ridiculous amount of time together. We get to eat lunch together every day, and we send most nights together too, cooking and watching movies and working on projects (I'm finishing up that giant tent I've had near completion for the past 5 years or something). That's awesome. I just went out to CA with her this past weekend to visit her family, and that went extremely well. I got to spend a lot of time with her mom and dad and they're great. I'm really hoping we can convince them to move out to CO so that they'll be around when Jenna and I start having babies. I'm also hoping I can convince her brother Anthony and her friends David and gabby to come out here. There's a lot of fun stuff to do here and it's so much easier to find a good job and a place to live here. I can't believe the cost of living out there. it's impossible for a young person to get an apartment, even if they can somehow manage to find a job. it makes it very hard to feel like you're grown up and independent, I'm sure. So I'd love to get them out here where we can all hang out and just generally have a good time together. The more the merrier, as always.
That's really it. Any specific questions, feel free to ask.

The Ultimate Choice
Would you rather have shrimp for nipples or crayons for teeth?
Keep in mind that the shrimp would never die and the crayons regenerate.

How you know you've gone over the edge
Category: News and Politics
.. width="425" height="350">..>
How can the ACLU claim that defending these people is about free speech, but kids aren't allowed to have a prayer meeting before school? How can this church group scream "God Hates Fags" at a soldier's funeral, but a town can't have a nativity scene outside their courthouse? Can anybody defend this kind of thinking?
