Black Friday-a bitter eulogy for civilization.

A couple of strange things here that struck me as oddly ironic Friday as the Wal-Mart story broke. Something that we have had drilled in our heads of late is the fact that we are residents of "Mainstreet", a term that seems innocuous enough to actually sugar coat the term peasant. Since the great sodomizing of America at the hands of Wall street, "Mainstreet" now has entered the dictionary as a palatable term for serf or peasant. As you can see in the wrap around advert on myspace's login page from Friday, "mainstreet" is prominently displayed in the graphic and bookended by the Wal-Mart sign on the opposite page.

I can imagine the cynical laughter as the Wall street offices open on Monday morning. I would like to have a quarter for every racist Wal-Mart joke that will be told on exchange floors and next to bubbling water coolers. This is not really about racism though... It really is about class issues. The CEO's that have basked in the benefits of an average 500% pay increase over the last few years as the bottom has fallen out of "Average Joes" life, hold all of us that dwell in the bottom up to nothing but contempt.

Take a look at Wal-Mart itself (if you have not already). There are documentaries depicting CEO's of the companies driving through small town America making wagers as to which Mom and Pop businesses will fail first. There is Wal-Mart's uncovered practice of "Peasant Insurance Policies" , Insuring under paid workers and cashing in on their death with out the knowledge of the families. Do you think Wal-Mart had insurance of this type on the trampled custodial worker?

Its no secret just how sub-human we of the lower income brackets are viewed. Just watch the treatment of service workers in establishments in any urban business. These vampiric Caligula wannabes are not capable of treating anyone with dignity nor respect. If someone in a position of wealth and fame is by chance a decent person then they are inevitably surrounded by sycophantic ass-sucking toadies that do all of the "Assholing" for them to act as a buffer from the filthy common man. The common man whom clamors for the abuses and attention of the celebrity lifestyle. Its almost as if the mainstreet residents believe that they will get a gratis sniff of shit that doesn't smell like shit at all.

Yes, Life at the bottom does suck, this bloodlust for cheaply made Chinese imports that we kill for, quite literally. The savage pack mentality that murders to save a few dollars at the expense of a working stiff's life. A greedy corporation that normally is open 24 hours closes its doors to create an "anticipation" of saving money that would have been better spent on food or education for their children.

Perhaps not enough people were killed. Not just "Black" folks but poor "whites" too. Maybe add in more Wal-Mart workers. Chain the doors shut and burn it all...why stop there? Burn the financial district too. Lets start a war with another country under false pretenses so we can dispose of unemployable American youth. Lets arm small Middle Eastern countries that are nothing more than hostile zealot occupying forces that can only maintain an erection by genocide of those whom had lived there for hundreds of years prior. FUCK IT, Lets bring back Eugenics...lets not just "Clean Up the Gene Pool" , lets keep scrubbing until there isn't a human genome left. The highest rung of the dna ladder should be simian.
