Unhinged interview at Epic Rites

Litzine Epic Rites wanted to interview me. The first part can be read here .

I probably come across as slightly unhinged. I fucking look it in that photo too.

Cheers.

Match Preview: Wigan Athletic versus Aston Villa
Current mood: animated
Category: Sports

My match preview is up at Goal.com. Read it here

There's a few typos but I've got a good reason for that...

Also, I start my new job writing for Goal.com next week, so if you've a mind look out for news stories by me in the evenings....

Parasitic 10
Current mood: tired
Category: Writing and Poetry

Parasitic 10 is ready to read.

This is a killer issue. Some ninja king poetry from Richard Wink and Melissa Mann, psychadelic wheelie prose from Mikael Covey and something strong and very, very dark from Michael Keenaghan.

Check it out at: http://parasitic101.wordpress.com/

Cheers.

’Judges’ at Epic Rites
Current mood: blank
Category: Writing and Poetry

Epic Rites really are going into overdrive. There's a silly Halloween theme and a story of mine at the redesigned main site. Read the Lescar story 'Judges' here.

Check out the rest of the main site at: http://www.epicrites.org/ and you can read about some other people who write poetry and read some of their poetry.

I'm off to drink tea and stare out the window. It's that kind of day. I fucking hate all that Halloween bollocks.

Cheers.

Reviews at Parasitic
Current mood: breezy
Category: Writing and Poetry

Some of you mayhave noticed that the latest issue of Parasitic features a review of Erin Reardon's chapbook 'Meat' (buy a copy from her! Get in touch to find out how!).

We'd like to start making reviews a regular feature of the 'zine, so if you've got anything you want reviewing, please enquire at parasiticcavity@yahoo.co.uk.

We won't pay for anything, so don't expect us to fork out for your Lulu chapbook or whatever. In terms of compensation for us, well, that's negotiable, but it probably helps if you're female...ahem.

In the meantime, have a look at http://parasitic101.wordpress.com/. Peruse, enjoy and comment.

Cheers.

Archie Gemmill Moment at Epic Rites
Current mood: angsty
Category: Writing and Poetry

Epic Rites is a new online community sortathing for writers and assorted weirdos. It will be great as it grows, cutting out much of the online bullshit inherent in other networking sites.

If you join then you'll be able to read my childhood memoir 'Archie Gemmill Moment', which you might enjoy.

Have a look at:

Summat Old and Summat Rayt New
Current mood: pissed off
Category: Writing and Poetry

My old story 'United Kingdom' has found a new home at Epic Rites, along with a new piece entitled 'Assessing the Situation'.

Read with a Sheffield accent at Epic Rites

There's a couple of minor errors in the biog. Spotter's badge for you if you see them.

There's also two Lescar stories featured in Issue 1 which you might want to read, if it's not all too much for you and you're bored with me.

Cheers.
