Seriously. I am thankful for this wonderful site almost everyday of my life when I spend countless hours watching and re-watching stuff that I enjoy and/or haven't seen in years.
Top Five Things I love about youtube:

George Carlin -- He definitely taught me how to use "colorful" language in the foulest and most awesome way possible when I first saw his standup on VHS when I was 11 (standup at Carnegie, I think).
RIP George...Thanks for the laughs and thanks for contributing to the extremely foul (but clever) mouth that I have today and for as long as I'm around -- the "seven words" have definitely been a frequent part of my daily language for quite some time. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I'm sure Carlin would have had a good answer to that.
My grandmother and my dog also died on June 22nd (in different years, 1992 and 1997, of course). What a weird day.
"Authorities knew the aging levee near Birdland, a working-class, racially diverse neighborhood, was the weakest link among the city's levees. A 2003 Corps report called for nearly $10 million in improvements across Des Moines, but there wasn't enough federal money to do all the work."
Okay, I'm not taking this lightly...but it seems that every term around this time, some asshole thinks it'll be a good idea to make a bomb threat on campus. It's not cool. Because as most of you already know about any kind of catastrophe or threat -- when you are warned about it time and time again and nothing happens, many people stop taking it seriously. And then! Something DOES happen. It's scary. Fucking lame.
