* I reccommend this Efterklang gig I wrote about. I’ll be going.
* Its very unusual for me to get involved with pop music nowadays, but I was commissioned to work with Rod Thomas - a talented and very hard working young songsmith - to create some works, for performance and a release, at the end of last year. I ’stepped outside my comfort zone’ as my brother put it, and actually sat down at some acoustic instruments with Rod to write these songs, so they don’t really sound like, er, what I’m known for - but i did add some laptop processing too, for texture. We now have four of these tracks release on Itunes (3 songs and one instrumental).
* Rod Thomas & Si-cut.db: ’Playroom’ ep, tracklisting: 1) Hope 2) Two Parter Part Two 3) Plastic Lullaby 4) Summer End
* The rather radio-friendly documentary podcasts linked to the recording and live show are here: PODCAST ONE: click HERE PODCAST TWO ; click HERE ("henrytentpodcast.2") (Both appx 40 mins. They are slick sounding. I mean, Paul MacCartneys even on ’em! Entertaining at least. )
The original small movie, with our music, for last year’s ICA gig, by Matt Collett:
* Meanwhile: on my real world blog; Will Self, Mars, Clay Shirky & Brian Eno, Richmond, artist Rachel Howard's exhibition, my Big Garden Birdwatch results. You know, like, er, stuff.
