Klassebak Crispin Glover (Back To The Future, Willard, What Is It?) speelt een heerlijk gestoorde dubbelrol in een film vol zieke grappen en uitzinnige splatter scènes.
Simon Says Director Bill Dear (Harry and the Hendersons) dives into exploitation fare with relish, serving up a tasty treat featuring the divine Crispin Glover, plenty of character-based humor, and a number of outlandishly clever splatter scenes. The film looks ravishing and rocks along briskly; the characters get plenty of time to establish their various degrees of likability before being killed off one by one. Surprisingly enough, you start to care about them. It played extremely well with the audience.
From: http://www.rollerfeet.com/backporchbeer/ Simon Says - Director William Dear and son Oliver Dear were in attendance to screen what I believe is the one of the core films of this year..s festival. Crispin Glover plays twins, one of whom went on a killing spree but was released because of his retardation. They run an autoshop and roadside store near a camping site the teenagers go to for privacy..and you know where that..s headed. Glover is at his crazy finest with inspired clever slaying, the boys are hunky and the girls are hot and topless at least once. This film is a great addition to the tradition of fun teen slasher movies, funny at times, scary at times, silly at times.

William Dear (THE NORTHVILLE CEMETERY MASSACRE, HARRY AND THE HENDERSONS) directs proverbial screen weirdo Crispin Glover in not one, but TWO roles, as insane backwoods twins who stalk transient vacationers for recreation. Five teenagers set-off on a spring break camping trip only to have their vacation plans interrupted by the mysterious disappearance of one of their friends. Before long, the kids realize they'd made a grave mistake trusting the odd set of twins who recommended the isolated lakeside campsite, and they are launched into a deadly game of cat and mouse - complete with elaborate wilderness booby-traps and one of the most unhinged performances of Glover's career!
