Death of the Party
Category: Writing and Poetry

In the shadows hid
one amongst the multitude.
Waiting on one chance.
Letting the fear subside
so that you may see the real sun.
Always reaching out
just in case you spare the moment.
For me.
My name is mundane to you.
I am forgotten.
In silence I become everything
to everyone.
Good is rarely remembered.
Betray someone just once
and that forever remains.
In detail.

In tried anticipation , I force
to become the life,
the desires.
I can't be the bad you see in me.
My name in your eyes
is weakness.
Mistaken many times.
Yet you know I will do anything
you ask.
Give even when there is nothing
left to give.
I blend into the scenery.
Become the flower on the wall.
Watching your fulfillment
and wanting to dare.
Retreating.
Ready for the next time a smile
will heal.
Always offering the hand when you
need to be picked up.
Drying the tears when again
faced with your back.........
walking away.

↔ Atrophy ↔
Current mood: betrayed
Category: Writing and Poetry

I have grown far beyond and
cannot find my way back.
Within sheets of blood
and clouds of doom.
Cowered
under powered hands
that control each and every
movement,
so that I may lie
locked within.
Atrophied and desolate.
Spirit runs and hides
and mentally cannot cope.
Quivered, fearful
the frayed end of a rope.
Run out of corners.
run out of hope.
So many disguises to hide myself
all I really want is me.
Yet you sit apathetic,
horrid and cruel.
Every intention of hate
poured into words.
You know which trigger to pull.
You've always had the right ammunition.
Straight to the heart,
in for the kill.
I have stopped trying to comprehend
any reasons.
My biggest fear,
is believing that you have won.

Forever’s Tune ~ Miss Cherie’s Pic Challenge
Category: Writing and Poetry

Forever's Tune

Unraveled.

A piece of me as

I have become part of you.

A mix of melody and moonlight

woven on the wings of sorrow.

Enchanted by the tune

your whispers speak of the wind.

I know your body has left me, yet

you reside in my heart.

Left to carry on through the soul

of nature's kiss.

The breeze feels as your caress,

fingers through my hair;

and I close my eyes.

It's the moment when you are truly there.

My passion becomes the wings on which you fly.

Carried through its haunting reverence of emotion.

I am at peace.

I can feel your hand upon me as the music

sets us free.

Lifting hope forever to infinity.

Love Thyself (to love another)
Category: Writing and Poetry

Hunger listens to the pains
and nips at salacious wounds
carved into soul.
Projection; the image of amorous means
smiles delicious.
Slinking, sure footed as soft as a whisper
engaged upon the ear.
Eyes read deeper and more profound
than any words have written.
Mouth moistens in intensity.
Salivated in sinful desires.
Hunger raises the skin in anticipatory
urgency.
Allowing breath as if the wind were
starved for renewal.
The moon's grace reflected in upturned eyes
as black as void.
Hunger moves in uncounted seconds.
Reliving teasing moments of insecurity,
and waits,
as it knows the virtue of patience and
primal need.
Pulled restraints bind us from pleasure.
Stayed ,receiving full expectations of emotional bliss.
Hunger gives.
It releases the burdens of imaginative complexities
allowing control of self.
Perceiving beauty as it is to be seen within.
Reflection of pure.
Hunger thrives for stability and natural love.
Opening closed doors.
Closer to the abilities that allow perception of self
to be absorbed in wonderment.
Love thyself.
Employed in honest devotion.
The heart renders an openness, receiving trust.
Willingly without fault
to love another.
With love for self, a door opens.
Without straining to see, to feel within the dark
its light has bathed a misinformed mind.
Completely (as one)

(found) Only In Death
Category: Writing and Poetry

Fingertips softly close
eyelids
hiding lifeless brown eyes.
The sparkle has gone.
Your tears fall as the rain.
Unstoppable now that you
cannot control death.

The little things that seemed
so big, you now wish to have
just one more time.
One more heated breath.
One more time being told
it wasn't enough.
Even tho you knew it wasn't.

The curtain falls.
One can only hold their breath
so long.
You sting with the fails of a
life you turned blind too many times,
and now the pain threatens to bury
its cold fingers into your heart.

Your fingers run lovingly
through hair that will never
again be brushed.
An affection you never afforded
until now.
If feeling were comprehensible
in this moment, love would live.

You walk with glass beneath your feet.
Razorblades wept with every tear.
your mind is paralyzed and
this heart you realized you just now had
has cursed you with an eternal love.
A love that will never again love you
in return.

A love that lies lifeless.
Too many mortal wounds to have healed.
Broken and bruised.
A soul that found escape within their own hands.
Buried under confusion and uncertainty.
Through tears that believed
there was only one option left.(heart has laid to rest)

I am validated by my own means.
I am me.
And according to me, that's ok.
Any indifference you may have had
lacks any emotional intelligence.
Your heart beats cold
and I won't be frozen.
My eyes burn with intensities
of white,
and heart remains pure
of exceptions and conditions.
Unsure of where the path leads
but it needs come back to me.
I am the bringer of rain
and the heartache of thousands.
Upon my sand, feet consumate
their desire to run,
and the wind speaks of breath
that has gained vitality
and immortalized its being
within the sanctuary of my heart.
I am blind and I am given
to a world that misjudges
and conceptualizes things that
could never be.
Yet I am free.
Free to be the grass and the sky.
To feel life grow beneath me.
Destiny stands guard under
souls that scream for equality.
Originality.
A birth of individual normality.
Mortality
to become, me.
You.

Been Tagged
Category: Writing and Poetry

Haven't been tagged in awhile so I will try and find some things that might be worth mentioning, not of the ordinary:

1. I used to work as a graphic artist.  Many of the hotels' around here still carry the directories that I designed.  I quit because I couldn't stand sitting in front of the computer for hours a day!

2.I love the Final Fantasy games!  If I could I would play them for hours......alas kids leave me no time for such a pleasure.

3.I set the alarm for one minute after the time I have to get up.  I can't remember what the reason is but most alarms have a 9 minute snooze.  I wanna get up at 10 after lol.

4.I love the beach.  The way the sand feels between your toes.  Collecting little treasures.  Only been to the ocean one time.  Its time for another.

5.I have lots of teddy bears.  Most of them the kids aren't allowed to touch.  Yea, 32 and still play with toys!

6.Speaking of toys, when am I going to get my mustang?

7.I know how to change the oil in the car, as well as many other things around the house.

8. I hate cooking.  I can cook very well with directions from the book, but I'd rather not.  I'll do the dishes.

9.I do alot of my writing in the bathtub.  Where else am I going to find some peace and quiet in a house full of kids?  (sometimes even that doesn't work so well)

10.I keep my promises.

Not gonna tag anyone cuz they might hunt me down.......but if ya wanna, I'd love to hear them!
